Perhaps
someone has already responded to your request for info regarding Dan Gayman and
his books and "ministry." I do not think much of "Blessed Quietness Journal,"
but I do think it important to make sure that whoever requested the info is equipped
to deal with whoever is teaching or reading Gayman's books.
Many of my paternal relatives
are in a small but virulent heresy known as "Christian Identity." Identity, purely
and simply, is abomination. Though most adherents to Identity teaching are little
more deviant than many garden-variety Anglo-Israelites (with an added partiality
to segregation to maintain the purity of the Israelite race), there are many variations
within the spectrum of Identity. Many Identity groups, for instance, also believe
in keeping the Old Testament feasts and the seventh-day Sabbath, but some do not.
Dan Gayman, formerly a Mormon, is "pastor" of a particularly deviant form of Identity
which incorporates an added doctrine of "two-seedline" theory, a racial adaptation
of an originally Pentecostal doctrine taught by, among others, William Branham.
Branham, a Trinity-denying Pentecostal, taught the existence in the earth of two
"families"--one literally descended from Satan and one destined to be united to
God (sort of a cosmic, apocalyptic twist on Calvinistic predestination).
The two-seedline branch
of Identity teaches that Eve literally had sexual relations with the serpent,
and the literal progeny of that union intermarried with some Israelites, who ignored
God's prohibitions against racial intermarriage, and also with Edomites and Cainites
to finally produce the present-day Jews, destined for damnation and eternal enmity
with God, who have usurped the title "Israelite" which rightly belongs to the
white race. Other racial groups (Blacks, Asians, other dark-skinned peoples)
are considered to be ancient pre-Adamic races little different from the "beasts
of the field." Adamic man is considered to be the only true "man" made in God's
image and placed in Eden. Only Adamic man has a soul and spirit, and only the
Israelitish peoples can be redeemed by Christ. (Of course my aunt, who recently
rejected Identity to become Orthodox, tells me that Identity people have yet to
discover a method of distinguishing Israelites from the great mass of white Adamites--this
is one of many weak links in their doctrine.)
Thus,
these particular Identity adherents HATE, HATE, HATE the Jews, the usurpers, the
ministers of the shadowy "Zionist Occupational Government." They also HATE, HATE,
HATE the concept of racial intermarriage, even among believers, because it violates
in their view the OT prohibitions against racial mixing (of course, few of them
will listen when it's made clear to them that Scripture explicitly forbids intermarriage
with unbelievers and idolaters-- the marriage laws were not about race!) and differs
in no wise from copulation with a donkey, another non-Adamic beast.
Though I think all Anglo-Israelism
is out to lunch, it must be made clear that not all in Identity agree with Gayman's
extreme doctrines, and some are embarrassed by it.
Gayman
heads up what is essentially an Identity community in Missouri, and also has a
web page for his ministry Kingdom Identity Ministries. I don't recall that URL,
but you should have little problem doing a simple search.
I
have not actually read his books because I shudder at the thought of giving money
to his satanic organization. However, if you come to a different conclusion regarding
buying his books to research them, please send me photocopies!
