PART FOUR-- SOME ETHICAL ISSUES WE NEED TO DISCUSS

BEFORE GOING ON, ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

1. Are you willing and eager to destroy the works of Satan?

The works of Satan are obviously entwined with the lives of wicked men, and if you pull down a Satanic stronghold, you may have destroyed a man or woman in the process. When Elijah went up the mountain and defied the priests of Baal, and after the fire fell on Elijah's sacrifice, Elijah did not sit down with the priests of Baal and have a cup of tea. He took them down to the river and slaughtered them.

If you do not have the stomach for destroying both Satan AND his servants, do not enter the battle. In the story in Part Three about the porn store in Barstow, I had to face the fact that I was destroying a man's dream, and possibly hurting him financially. I had to ignore his plight, knowing he was intensely evil, and hurting him was a risk HE took, not me.

An uncertain warrior will get some Bible believer killed or hurt badly by his timidity. If you cannot take the heat of battle, carry ammunition, or be a prayer warrior, but stay off of the front lines.

Also, you are a wicked creep if you hang around the battle to be a spectator. You are no better than the fools who go to the Indianapolis 500 races to see cars spin out and explode into flames. If you did this to me, I would run you out of the local church and name you as aiding and giving comfort to Satan's servants.

Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Jesus did not say such a man was not fit for the battle. He said he was not fit for the kingdom, and that means he should be considered a fake Christian in the Church Age. We must assume that a wimp in Christian warfare is very likely an agent provocateur.

We had a couple in a church I pastored who claimed to have been saved out of Catholicism. They were indeed very helpful in many ways in the local church. But, one day we decided to go hand out tracts on the heresy of the Catholic Church at an ecumenical rally called by a trendy Catholic priest in the area, along with other silly ass Evangelical pastors. I asked the former Catholic couple if they would come along and help hand out tracks. They claimed to have a tract ministry. They flatly refused to help us and made some comment to the effect that we were doing something a bit inappropriate. I one day made a comment to the lady about her still working for a Catholic university, and I was not judging her. She exploded and told me they were very good to her to employ her. I began to realize something was amiss with the two. They claimed to want to win Catholics to Christ, but when they had the opportunity, they ran for cover. We later determined that they were very likely sent to our local church, by a priest in a nearby city, to do us harm.

2. Are you attacking a distinct worker of iniquity in the cause of Satan, or are you picking on a generic sinner who is no threat to anyone?

The Bible makes it very clear who the enemy is, and I want you to discuss EVERY operation in the terms of these Bible texts. If you fail to do this, I will denounce you to anyone who asks me about you.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

While certain people are so sold out to Satan that they fit this verse well, be very careful to be able to explain why they are worthy of destruction.

Psalms 56:2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

Are your enemies actually trying to destroy you, your family, your local church, your pastor, or someone serving the Lord? Yes? Then go after them and destroy them in a biblical manner. If you cannot define them in terms of destruction of God's work or people, leave them for someone else to deal with.

1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

Does your conscience in any way tell you that the object under consideration is not really the enemy but a victim of the real enemy? If so, switch tactics at once from this target person to the real enemy.

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

Is there really a Satanic attack here, or are you angry about something the target person did to you personally. If this thing is about persecution you received from a sinner, that is not spiritual warfare-- it is exactly what Jesus told you would happen.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

If all you are doing is seeking revenge, you are wicked.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

This leaves you plenty of targets, but you need to be VERY sure you are revenging disobedience against God or anyone but YOU. And, if your life is polluted by some disobedience, you are the last person qualified to go to war. No military commander will send a man into battle who is rebellious or refusing to conform to military discipline. You cannot expect God to help you in Christian warfare until you are 100% under his command.

I knew a man who was in the US Navy and assigned to submarine duty. He got so troubled by being under water for many months at a time that he finally threatened to take the sub down and crash it if they forced him back into a submarine. Of course, they at once discharged him from the Navy. He was a deadly risk and willing to kill his fellow soldiers.

If you are in rebellion in any area of your life, get out of this army until you get right with God.

You have no business going outside the mandate of the Word of God in targeting Satan and his forces.

3. Is it all about YOU, or is it all about Jesus Christ?

There is a warped notion that Christian warriors are impressive when they mouth off rage at Satan, and worse, when they declare how mighty and faithful they will be. I am reminded of the disciples who promised to follow Jesus, only to learn that they would betray and abandon him in the end.

You may have heard Joel Osteen's blasphemous "I am" statements. Well, we now have the "I will" boasting of sloppy agape spiritual warfare:

This video enrages me. These silly souls are boasting of their might and intentions to be fearless and dangerous to Satan. But, it is all "I WILL" over and over instead of about Jesus Christ. So, they will make fools of themselves, and Satan will wound them terribly. I would much rather go into battle with a quiet believer in Christ who was rather unsure of himself, but that man is totally convinced that Christ would help him in battle.

DO NOT GO BELLOWING AROUND THE CHURCH HOUSE, YOUR HOME, OR THE MARKET PLACE SCREAMING "I WILL" ANYTHING.

HE WILL, NOT YOU!!!

Finally, DO NOT rage at Satan with mighty words. We have NO precedent for verbally horse whipping the devil in the Bible. Satan is the ruler in this world, and when you rage at him like a banty rooster, he loves it. He knows he is far more powerful than you are in your puny little ego driven rage. The ONLY way to deal with Satan is to confront him with Jesus Christ, the final judge of Satan. He hates to be reminded of his destiny before the divine Judge. Bring the Word of God, the Blood of Jesus, and your testimony in Christ, against Satan.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We had a little banty rooster that used to jump up on a tree trunk every day and announce to me that he was in charge of the ranch. What a laugh he was, and we regularly warned him that the frying pan was waiting for him. And then, one day, CHOP, he ended up in the frying pan, and we devoured him.

Watch your mouth around Satan. Be sure your words are those of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus Christ can "Stomp on the devil's head."

ASYMMETRIC CHRISTIAN WARFARE IS NOT A PRANK

There will be those who are bored with life, and Asymmetric Christian Warfare will be a great way to get an adrenaline rush. It will all be one big prank, using Satan's program as an excuse to go pranking.

First, Satan will figure this out, and he will devour the fool who thinks Christian warfare is prank time. Satan knows very well that it is war on the highest plain, and any jerk who challenges Satan to a fiddling contest will NOT win.

Second, think of Jesus, Nehemiah, Gideon, and other Bible characters in warfare with the wicked. Is there any indication that they were pranking? Of course not.

Third, you and your local church will be the laughing stock of the town if your Christian warfare comes off looking like a prank. No pastor worth his salt will permit such foolishness.

Nothing in Paul's teaching above hints at pulling pranks.

Another word is needed here. You are not called to destroy physical property and people's state of mind. You are called to pull down strongholds. There is a difference. If you manage to do an action which causes some Catholic to mentally crumble, you are not like Jesus or Paul. Deliverance from devils is the exception. In that case you find the person mentally affected by the devil, and after they are delivered, they will be in their right mind.

It is necessary to expose heretics for what they teach, not destroy their mind.

A word on taking videos
Are you serving the Lord, or are you trying to go viral on YouTube? There should be NO video taking during actions of Asymmetric Christian Warfare. If the unsaved learn of your action and see a video of it online, they will mock at you and have good reason to believe you are not serving God but your own lusts instead.

 

IS IT EVER NECESSARY TO DO PHYSICAL HARM?

We will look at two examples in the life of Jesus Christ:

1. Cleansing the Temple

John 2:12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

First, it was very obvious that the Temple of God was being blasphemed by making it into a market and a banking center. Jesus was NOT dealing with social issues or general criminal behavior.

Second, He did no harm to the people present other than to trash their spiritually wicked business ventures.

Third, he enraged the religious leaders of the Jews, and this contributed to his crucifixion later.

There may well be a time to do physical harm to let the wicked know that they ARE wicked. But, you need to count the cost. You could be attacked later with a law suit or serve time in jail. A classic example of this would be to burn down an abortion clinic. It certainty will stop a few abortions for a while, but you will serve prison time. Is that what God is calling you to do? And, if you believe that is indeed what you must do to please God, DO NOT WHINE AND SUE AND BELLY ACHE and claim you are some kind of martyr.

 

2. The demoniac of Gadera

Luke 8:26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.
35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.

Jesus clearly did destruction to the commerce of the environment. By sending the devils into a herd of swine, he destroyed the livelihood of someone. This is witnessed by the fact that the local city officials asked Jesus to leave town before he killed more swine. It is important to note here that the Jews were not to eat or trade in swine, so Jesus was well within his right as God of the Law to enforce that law and kill the swine.

You know of a drug dealer in your neighborhood, and you learn where he hides his dope. You are well within your definition of the Christian zeal before God to destroy the dope. But again, count the cost if you get caught.

HOW TO WIN WHILE HIDING

Asymmetrical conflicts manifest themselves as insurgencies and guerrilla wars. Such conflicts are characterized by a lack of large confrontations, with insurgents electing to attack the stronger force via hit-and-run tactics. Insurgents also utilize superior local knowledge and their environments to counter superior firepower and technology, while operating unseen amongst the general population. In such conflicts, no real battlefield exists, and conflicts are characterized by an oft maddening fluidity between combatants and the adversary. Insurgencies and their corresponding counterinsurgencies see governments waging war against non-state actors, with significant portions of the populace potentially supporting either side. As a result the “shooting side of this business is only 25 per cent of the trouble and the other 75 per cent lies in getting the people behind us.” The key struggle in asymmetrical conflicts is over the ‘hearts and minds’ of the populace, for the goal is no longer that of military defeat per se, rather “the internal political collapse of the opponent’s willingness to continue.” SOURCE

The Mau Mau rebels in Kenya, discussed earlier, hid in the Highland forests of Kenya, and they would come out at night and do nothing more than slash the hamstrings of the cattle of the White Settlers they hated. This wrecked havoc on the moral of the settlers. They could easily defeat the Mau Mau in a conventional confrontation, but to be financially ruined by men they never saw was demoralizing in the extreme. The British military forces never gave up, but the settlers often expressed a morbid outlook on their destiny, assuming the conflict might never end.

So, you need to consider the hit and run tactic. Your enemy needs to be totally in the dark as to who you are. If you can find a way to be totally anonymous on social media, or making comments on heretic sites, this would be an application of this tactic. Another would be to send letters snail mail to some heretic leader with Bible verses used as condemnation of the creep with no return address. In no way make threats of any statements that could be construed as threatening.

A long term battle action would be to start attending some Catholic or Mormon church with a view to doing them harm or create chaos in some way. Also, get yourself hired onto grounds keeping of building maintenance at a Catholic Seminary or university. Once inside, do various actions of damage to them. Remember, nothing illegal or destructive to personal property or sanity.

USING THE APPETITES AND LUSTS OF THE ENEMY AGAINST THEM

Lust for power and self-exaltation was the great downfall of Satan, known as Lucifer (Isaiah 14:12-15). This is the first and foremost lust we must use against the enemy-- the lust for power and glory. Virtually every church split is claimed to be over ethics or doctrine, but the real story is learned later as the group which exits sets up a new church, and the ring leader of the split becomes a dictator over the new church.

How Napoleon Was Subdued without Fighting

Napoleon is well known for invading Russia and being soundly defeated for doing so. When Adolph Hitler tried to invade Russia in his time, he was very conscious of the failure of Napoleon to conquer the Russians. Years before, the Russians had destroyed Napoleon’s army when he invaded Russia by constantly retreating and avoiding him. The Russians finally made a stand a few miles from Moscow and fought Napoleon, seriously weakening his army. When Napoleon eventually entered Moscow, the Russians had deserted the city and released all prisoners. They asked the prisoners to burn down Moscow, and the prisoners did so. The Russian army and all the citizens of Moscow had disappeared into thin air!

Napoleon entered the absolutely empty city of Moscow and spent one month hoping to find an enemy he could defeat. But the enemy had fled. The Czar of Russia was nowhere to be found. He and his troops had made a fast retreat. Napoleon desperately needed to meet with the Czar of Russia and make him kneel down in defeat. But this never happened. Napoleon simply could not lay hands on anyone to defeat.

After one month of waiting, Napoleon had to leave Russia and head for France. He had not seen the Czar nor had he met anyone in Moscow whom he could claim to have conquered.

On his long journey back to France, Napoleon’s troops were attacked continuously by the Russians who had disappeared into thin air. Napoleon himself came under threat on the journey back. Eventually, only 40,000 out of his 650,000 French soldiers survived and struggled back into France. The Russians had effectively defeated Napoleon by simply not fighting him!

This is perhaps among the top ten examples in all of human history of Asymmetric Warfare.

A wise pastor or father will learn the value of disappearing from the battle at times in order to leave the enemy prancing about trying to find someone to humiliate. I marvel at these preachers who agree to appear on talk shows or forums in which they are made fools of by the enemy. When will they learn to walk out at the first blasphemy? There is something very unnerving to the adversary in turning on your heel and walking off without comment.

EXAMPLE OF WALKING OUT- Whatever you may think of the man walking out, he caused a big stir, perhaps bigger than if he had stayed.

Appetites of the flesh

The workers of Satan are totally obsessed with sex and their appetites. The question arises, can we use this quality of the wicked against the.

There are two options which are NOT available to us:

1. Helping them sin. This is the work of Satan, NOT you. So, just forget about setting up arrangements to cause the wicked to sin to their disadvantage.

2. Blackmail. There is NO option to learn secret sins of the wicked and then force them to reduce their wickedness lest you turn them in for their evil.

But, once the wicked has sinned, it may be useful to help them get caught. This must never have the smell of blackmail, in which case, simply reveal them for what they are to the most potent observer. For example, if you learn that an abortion clinic manager is also a pedophile, get the news out as publicly as possible without warning the person. If you learn the a Catholic priest is shacking up with some nun, open it up to the public.

I tuned a piano for a preacher in Michigan who was a huge blimp of a man. He claimed he had a metabolism problem. I figured this was a cover story, but I could not prove it.

One day I stopped at McDonald's for coffee and fries after shopping for my wife. I found the preacher sitting alone at a table with two Big Macs in front of him. He had no metabolism problem-- he was totally out of control with his appetite, and now we both knew it. He looked very sheepishly at me and said, "Hi brother." I made a loaded comment about the thing which I do not remember. I regret to this day that I did not loudly ask him if the Big Macs helped him with his metabolism problem so the people around heard it.

RECONNAISSANCE AND INTELLIGENCE

"The only thing that gives an organization a competitive edge... is what it knows, how it uses what it knows and how fast it can know something.” Larry Prusak

This also applies to all warfare. The Bible believer who goes blind into battle with Satanic forces will most certainly get hurt. There are six ways to do reconnaissance and gather intelligence for the Bible believer:

1. What does the Bible tell you about the kind of enemy you are dealing with? Is he a Judas, an Absolom, a Diotrophese, or a Demas spirit? You can very likely find, in the Bible, a character just like the creep you are dealing with. What did God say about him, and what stopped him?

2. Spying. (See Part Two, Topic 88) Who do you know who can come and go within the enemy camp freely. Can you trust that person to help you? If so, by all means put him to work gathering intelligence.

3. Do a background check online of the enemy. Spend the cash. You may learn critical things you can use to slap down the enemy. If a facility is involved, case it out before hand, and check on Google maps to see what the lay of the land is like.

4. If the enemy does not yet know you will soon engage him in Christian warfare, make an "innocent" phone call, email, or Facebook "friend" approach to him, and see if you can get him to chatter on a personal level. Pretend to be a sincere seeker, and ask questions.

5. How can you legally track the enemy and watch his physical and social actions? You may want to join a group he is part of at some gathering and just drift around. See whom he hangs out with, and if possible ask someone if they trust him or have had dealings with him. Like, "I am soon going to be involved with Fred. How does he handle controversy?"

6. Direct confrontation. Avoid it. Why let the enemy know you are coming? Only confront the enemy when the battle is declared. David did not give Goliath one of the cheeses his Daddy sent with him before the battle commenced. The enemies of God should get NO consideration based on their blasphemies and life back history.

If this study is being used in a class teaching session, stop, and have some discussion here. Try to recall Bible examples of the various steps in this process.

HERE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FAIL TO DO YOUR INTELLIGENCE

 

PROPAGANDA

The US Department of Defense has defined psychological warfare (PSYWAR) as: "The planned use of propaganda and other psychological actions having the primary purpose of influencing the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of hostile foreign groups in such a way as to support the achievement of national objectives."

Sadly, America's enemies have, more often than not, proved more adept than the United States at harnessing the power of propaganda and influencing public perceptions. The America of Madison Avenue and Wall Street has found itself consistently outmaneuvered in the media space by al Qaeda operatives working with a laptop computer and an Internet connection.

TE Lawrence and the Turks- Lawrence used the WW I era biplanes to terrorize the Turks. Some Turks actually thought they were devils manifesting. Also, the two pronged attack against the Turks was by Lawrence from the east and General Allenby from the west. General Allenby's name sounded very much like the words Allah'nbi, or Prophet of Allah. This caused the Turkish Muslim soldiers terror. They thought that Allenby might just be a Prophet of Allah, and they assumed this prophet would be all powerful. Lawrence and his Arab rebel fighters fanned this fear at every opportunity.

Another trick was to have one of his Arab rebel fighters take a camel and go wander into the enemy camp as if he were on a trek across the desert. The Arab would then get into conversations, and during the small talk he would drop bits and pieces of disinformation. Several times the Turks used this information to send forces in entirely the wrong direction, leaving Lawrence's target undefended.

Philip Taylor- "Terrorism is 10% violence and 90% propaganda."

Al Qaeda and the Taliban have put many videos online announcing their next target. Our intelligence and Military people know this is pure propaganda, but thousands of Americans watch this and assume it is true. The beheadings are often fake, though some distinctly are not. The real beheadings have an unnerving effect on Americans and Europeans, causing them to want to give up their freedoms in order to be safe.

George Bush's "Weapons of Mass Destruction" was another classic propaganda trick on the American people. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but George Bush got his war, based on a lie, even though he later admitted it was not true.

Here is another use of propaganda. What better way to stop a war than to convince the enemy to surrender and flee the battle zone?

In what ways can you send a message to the enemies of Satan to demoralized them or cause them to want to defect from Satan? If you try to do this with Gospel tracts, you MUST add your contact information to the tract, and be sincerely ready to help the victim of Satan escape. This escape may be in the form of physical help also. If a Catholic priest defects from the Roman Catholic Church, he will instantly become a beggar. All priests have taken a vow of poverty, so when they leave the Roman Church they have nothing. What sort of Christian would win a priest to Christ and then leave him to fend for himself?

Also, can you send a group member into the enemy environment with information that will terrorize some of them?

One extremely powerful piece of propaganda today is with Muslims. One Islamic cleric in Iran did the research, and he determined that 667 Muslims an hour are leaving Islam. There is an insane myth going around, spread by both Christian leaders AND Muslims leaders, that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. This is a bold face lie. The Mullahs are in a total panic today because they are losing millions of their faithful. The reason? Many Muslims are tired of being associated with al Qaeda and ISIS and the beheadings and rapes by Jihadi fighters. Your task is to spread the news that Islam is blood thirsty, and encourage Muslims to leave Islam and come to Christ.

The Turks could be depended on to repeat their own blunders and false assumptions. Lawrence came to depend on this endemic Turkish stupidity to the point where he would make attacks that on smarter soldiers would have been suicide. The Satanic wicked who attack the Lord's Church can also be counted on to repeat stupidity.

I got an email back when the journal first went online, circa 1995, from what sounded at first like a sincere seeker. He told me he wanted advice on how to deal with some issue in his church. Then I saw his church: Saint John the Baptist Baptist Church. The sender was obviously either Roman Catholic or just plain stupid. They had no idea how stupid that church name sounded. So, I attacked based on their stupidity. I told them to go and ask their question from their local Catholic parish priest.

They are deluded
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Strong delusion is the total disorientation of the mind in a wrong direction, but with total assurance that the delusional direction is the only rational one. It is often accompanied by big plans and expectations of things which are impossible. If you are dealing with such a person, and if they show hate and are offensive to the Gospel of Christ, feed their delusion. This will make them look like great fools to their own friends and coconspirators. This, in turn, will divide your enemy from each other as they scatter to avoid looking like a fool.

They believe lies
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Can we lie to the wicked if we are defending the saints? The test implies that God WANTS them to believe lies. But, who tells the lies?

If an aggressive enemy is attacking, and if there is no chance of repentance in this enemy, helping them believe lies will send them into condemnation, and they will soon find that they are in the company of all those people in Verse 15 above. This will discourage them, or it may eventually get them into trouble with the law, thus putting them out of circulation.

The Internet is loaded with lies today. Many allegedly Christian sites online are driven by insane logic and conspiracies. I get phone calls from people who spend most of their day chasing new teachings in prophecy. I ask them what they are doing for a living, and they are often unemployed. I ask them if they are studying anything else in the Bible except prophecy. They often tell me they are called of God to find the truth in Bible prophecy, like it is a ministry, and they are the unique source of prophetic truth.

At this point I go one of two ways. Sometimes I rebuke them soundly, and I order them to stop the prophecy study and go try to win a soul to Christ. I order them to do something special for their wife or kids. And, I tell them God wants them to find employment. At least go fill out job applications. If they whine, I move on to the asymmetric method. I tell them to spend all the time they can studying prophecy so that they will finally believe enough lies to qualify to miss Heaven. At that point I hang up, AND I do not answer the phone which rings right back every time.

Why do this? Answer: I want them so buried in their false teachings that they do not find time to spread this rubbish further. If they are not born again, they will be used of Satan to lead weak saints into these false teachings. So, I want to encourage them to stay online around the clock so that they are too tired to go peddle their rubbish in the local church.

Satan's lust for power and godhead
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Satan is a god to people of blind minds and unbelief. Thus, these people lust for godhead, and the only way they ever get satisfaction at the game of being a god is to elevate themselves above other people and take weak minded people into slavery to themselves. Your job is to trash these worldly gods in front of their followers. Any man, be he Pope, bishop, preacher, or grand dude is just as good a target for Asymmetric Christian Warfare as the other creep. Never let a preacher-god off the hook because he is a member of a fundamental Baptist or other seemingly sound group. All ego maniacs need to be destroyed.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal , but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds ;)
5 Casting down imaginations , and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God , and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ ;

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

When your enemy is a godless heretic or pagan, you can bet he has a monumental ego. It is very hard these days to find leaders, politicians, and religious leaders who do not have an ego problem. And, I will include the vast majority of Fundamental Baptist pastors. I have stood in the foyer at Fundamental Baptist pastor's conventions and rallies, and there are almost never plain Christlike men there.

So, when your enemy is such a person, they will have an "I problem." They will talk about themselves incessantly. One way to destroy them is to lead them with questions. Ask them to explain how they built up the biggest Sunday School bus route in the nation. Then, ask them how they justify bus evangelism based on the example of Jesus and the Apostle Paul. They may attack you at once, in which case, attack them right back by showing the contrast between them and Paul or Jesus. On the other hand, they may give you some tricky Bible references to justify their bus program. Turn to the references they quote and show them (and anyone standing nearby) that the verse has nothing to do with buying a fleet of church buses. Then they will tell you all the alleged numbers of kids who got saved from the bus ministry. Ask them how many of those kids are now faithful church members. The man will lie usually and claim they are all members of their church. Do not stop the attack until the man curses you in some way. At that point, rebuke him for his raging ego, and walk off. Tell him he is simply running a day care center for parents who want to have sex Sunday morning with the kids out of the house.

Similar tactics can be used on ego driven Charismatics and Catholic priests and bishops. What you want to do is threaten their self-defined glorious power story by using the examples of Jesus and the Apostles. Also, hammer them as to context in any areas of doctrine they bring up. When a Catholic gives you some doctrine based on Catholic tradition, demand to see the Bible text to justify that tradition.

Always try to pick a venue for the attack where other people are already involved in conversation with the ego maniac.

1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

An alternative which is very asymmetric is to listen for a while with the group gathered around the tin horned god. Then, butt in suddenly, and with a big fake ecstatic gush at the ego maniac, ask him if you can worship him as god. Keep it up until he goes nuts. Keep flattering him way beyond reason so some of the people around see the creep for what he is.

BEWARE OF TIGGEROLOGY

Terror of the wicked when confronting simple people of faith
Satan's forces are terrified of ordinary people of strong faith. The best friend of Satan is a Evangelical Seminary Ph.D., over paid, and absolutely full of himself. These people disdain the ordinary Christian because they cannot deal with plain simple zealous faith in anyone. For this reason, you need to ATTACK these people by any stealth trick you can think of. They need to be made fools in front of other saints so the ordinary saints will learn caution instead of venerating the scoundrels.

An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger." The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"

"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist. "How about why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled smugly.

"OK," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?" The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea."

To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death, when you don't know crap?" And then she went back to reading her book.

The rich, wealthy, and powerful of this world are terrified of the common man. They know he is free even though he is subject to the grip of man made power from above. This song by Alabama does not thank the rich and famous, nor does it exalt those who dominate this world for Satan. If this instinct is openly observed by a singing group from the South of America, you need to soon understand and USE the power of the simple man in Christ Jesus.

I am reminded of the story of the prophet Amos. He went up to the Samaria to prophecy against Jeroboam the King of Israel. Amos prophesied against several of the enemies of Israel, but when he talked about the sins of Israel, Amaziah, the priest came to Amos and rebuked him:

 

Amos 7:10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
11 For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
13 But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.
14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
15 And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
16 Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

Amos was a simple man, a herdsman and a gatherer of figs. God chose him on purpose because he wanted to totally humble the arrogant King of Israel and his priests. In discussing Asymmetric Christian Warfare we need to understand that eloquent and ego driven men are of no use to God. God uses the plain and ordinary man to do his work.

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

One last thought about ordinary people. If the pastor of the local church where you are members is hobnobbing with high minded denominational or organizational leaders, and if he is the "keynote speaker" at various conferences, change churches. Your pastor is a Protestant or Baptist poplette. He will not support you in Asymmetric Christian Warfare unless he gets the glory, AND he will not want to get his hands dirty in the battle. You need an asymmetric pastor, like a pastor who works on the side as a truck driver or feed store manager.

Lying and perverse tendencies
One of the most handy opportunities for combat which the enemy Satan offers us is in his lying. And, his servants and preachers lie openly. Preachers are notorious liars, and this is one of the most obvious clues you have when you are wondering if a preacher is serving Satan. He will lie about his accomplishments, and he will lie about his sins.

Now, the Asymmetric Warfare battle tactic presents itself. Most of the time, when we know someone is lying, we say nothing. Confrontation is troublesome, and it results in bitter hate by the liar who is confronted. So, why should we follow the less chosen path and confront liars?

When Satan's helpers are lying to the hurt or deception of Bible believers, children, or people who are vulnerable to be hurt by the lies, WE MUST STAND DOWN THE LIAR. This must be done publicly, and to the face of the liar, and preferably with his victims present. When a pastor flat out lies about some issue, he should be openly rebuked. He will run you off at once of course, but the people of the local church will finally have to decide if they are going to follow a fool of Satan.

When a preacher boasts of all the people who got saved and baptized in his church, ask him, "That sounds great, preacher, and how many of those numbers are faithfully attending now?" He will either lie and say all of them are attending, or he will make up a song and dance about this being the End Times and many will fall away from the faith. At this point you say, "I think the truth is that you are lying about those numbers to exalt yourself, and nothing very great is happening in your church at all."

He will rage at you in some sort of self-righteous fashion, and you will then laugh at him, and walk away.

This applies in the market place also, but only where spiritual evil is afoot. You do not have to right every wrong in society, but you do have every reason to hammer the wicked who are leading people astray.

I had finished my wife's grocery shopping list, and I deserved a cup of coffee and a donut. So, I went into a donut shop in town, and I got my goodies and sat down. There was a strange conversation going on in the donut shop. A self-proclaimed faith healer was sitting at a table with his wife and four kids. They were seated so that their backs were to the wall, and they all faced the other people in the shop. What turned out to be a Methodist lady was sitting at another table, and the faith healer was pompously telling her he was the greatest healer west of the Mississippi River.

I decided to mind my own business. But then the lady started fawning over the faith healer in a ga ga manner, and I could see she was believing everything the devilish creep was saying. The Holy Ghost seemed to jab me, and I blurted out, "This is indeed wonderful to have a healer present." I then asked him where in the Bible he found the authority to claim that physical healing was in the atonement, as he had claimed. I tried to be polite, but my questions were blunt.

The faith healer ignored my question, and he said, "You are a Catholic priest. God has shown me you are." I asked him if my being a Catholic priest would change his responsibility to use the Bible to prove his claims. He then went into a towering tirade and said, "I knew you were a Catholic priest. God showed me that when you started talking." I then told him I was not a Catholic, and he was a bold faced liar. He then tried to get me to tell him what church I pastored. I told him he was a liar from the start because he claimed to have a revelation that I was a Catholic priest. I then demanded he show me from the Bible where God said that healing was part of salvation and that if I was not healed I was not a Christian. He had said as much to the lady.

By this point, his wife and kids were glancing at one another and snickering. I asked the man. "Do you love me for Jesus sake?" He grandly assured me he loved me intensely. I then asked him, "If you love me, why are your wife and kids mocking at me?" The whole mob was startled and sat up straight and looked very sincere. Their less than atoned father glared at them. At this point, I laughed at them all heartily.

The faith healer got his feelings hurt, and he told the whole donut shop that I was a servant of Satan, and they all strutted, like wooden soldiers, out the door of the shop, and they got into their beater station wagon. I turned to the Methodist lady, and I told her that any man who claims to be something special in the Lord's Church must be examined by the Word of God. I also told her that the faith healer was lying about nearly everything he claimed. She thanked me profusely for helping her see what a fake he was. I apologized to the donut shop owner for the scene, and he told me he loved the show and thanked me for getting the freak healer out of the shop.

As I stepped out the door to leave, the faith healer had been waiting for me. He stood next to his car, wagged his bony finger at me, and bellowed, "You have sexual sin." Next to the donut shop was a gas station, and people were all over the place. They all stopped when the healer bellowed, and they all laughed at him. I grinned at the people and drove off.

Show no mercy to liars. Also, after a confrontation with devils like those people, go find a godly friend who can wash your feet for you spiritually. You will feel very dirty from wrestling with a Satanic hog in the mud.

IS THE AD HOMINEM APPROACH EVER JUSTIFIED?

By ad hominem, I mean attacks on the person, mind, and personal qualities of the enemy, rather than his specifically Satanic message, actions, or teachings.

When you attack a person, even though he is a rank enemy of Christ, you give him a following of those who justify him. When you attack his ideas, doctrines, and his teachings, while you treat him with common decency and courtesy, his followers will come your way, especially if he uses the ad hominem approach and attacks you personally.

The whole idea of Asymmetric Christian Warfare is to stop the attack of Satan and his servants against Christians, and on helpless people like children and gullible sinners. So, is there a time for ad hominem attack in Asymmetric Christian Warfare?

There certainly is. The key is to ask this question: "Has the enemy set the battle in array already?" Also, "Is this attack very little on ideology and doctrine and mainly physical and psychological?"

You see, when the Pharisees came to Jesus trying to trick him, THEY set up the battle, and Jesus attacked right back. And, he did us ad hominem attacks on them.

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Mark 7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

While Ravi Zacharias makes a good point, he clearly does not use the tactics of Jesus which he used against the Pharisees. Ravi moves in powerful circles in Christendom, so he will never use ad hominem attacks on raging evil doers, and that is the only thing that works with the Pope, faith healers, and Atheists like Richard Dawkins who live for one thing..... to destroy the faith of the weak, children, and those who ask questions.

How do we tell when to use an ad hominem attack?

When the Satanic attack is clearly meant to hurt and destroy people, ATTACK. Tell the evil ones exactly what they are in plain language with authority, not rage. Jesus is our example.

SPIRITUAL ABUSE OF BIBLE BELIEVERS IS NOT CHRISTIAN WARFARE

Jackboot preachers

We have a dreadful terror in many Fundamental Baptist churches today, and several other denominations share this issue. Many pastors are becoming Jackboot bullies. They torment the people with "standards," and they demand absolute obedience to THEM, rather than to Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Their favorite one liner is, "You follow me, and I will follow Jesus." They pull texts by Paul out of context to support this plan. Furthermore, when Paul asked people to follow him, or to watch him as an example, he REALLY did follow Jesus. These jackboot preachers do not follow Jesus. They are power crazed crooks just like the Pharisees of Jesus' day.

These devils can find some proof text for every demand they make on the saints, but it is out of context, or they are using a vague text to take off and fabricate and application of their own. They sheer the sheep close with forced tithing and extra offerings, and they use these funds in their own pet projects or simply to feed their own lusts and appetites.

Soldier, are you in a church with such a pastor? He is a servant of Satan. Simply read the Gospels, and compare the manner of this pastor to Jesus and the Apostles. Then, make a study of the Pharisees and Saducees, and you will find your pastor there.

Here is your assignment: Destroy this preacher. He is not born again. Real servants of Jesus Christ are thus:

2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Again, if you have a Jackboot preacher, he is devil possessed, and you need to form a strategy to destroy him and run him off.

Men and women outside the local church who abuse the saints

I must name names to give you some examples. I am talking about people like Bill Gothard, Mike Pearl, the Duggers, Doug Philips, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, and Vision Forum. But, the newest form of abuse of saints, and a very deductive one, is the Patriarchy Movement.

Are you attacking Christians who are simply misguided or believe the Rapture comes Mid-Trib instead Pre-Trib? Sure, Preterists are rather confused and misguided, but so what? If they are born again, they are not Satanic and worthy of destruction. There are many other things Christians disagree with which DO NOT justify an attack by you. You are wicked, and I personally will come after you, if you attack vulnerable folks who simply warm a pew and love Jesus, but they do not believe exactly like you on the fine points.

Who in Hell is your enemy anyway, and I ask that literally, not profanely. Your enemy is Satan as he manifests himself in the Pope, the Mullahs, the Mormons, the Jehovah's Witnesses, and anyone who needs to be totally destroyed. If, in your battle plans, you include a weaker brother, like someone who loves Jesus sincerely in some Methodist church, you are now the enemy of the saints. Oh, and by the way, you are my enemy, and if I can I will rescue that dear saint, you know, the one with the long hair and the nose ring whom you mock and attack. He may be a mess in his conduct, but YOU are a devil.

Hmmmmm How do you like them apples?

Anyone in the Lord's Church who goes to battle with a brother over prophecy is a 24 karat jerk. Prophesy has not happened, and it is madness to go to war over something in which we cannot absolutely prove we are right. That last sentence particularly applies to jackboot Nazi Baptist preachers who rage at the preacher across town over prophecy. Get a real war going, you four flusher slop hog BASTARD. (Be sure to check the link which proves I am biblically correct.)

 

SWORD OF THE MOUTH

Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Words spoken are powerful. But, the words of men, while they can hurt and cause horrendous results, do not destroy in the literal sense, as a physical sword does.

With Jesus Christ this is different. He can speak a word, and men die. He can speak a word, and worlds come into existence. He can speak a word, and the sick are healed.

So, there is a sense in which the Bible believer, when he is empowered by the Holy Spirit, AND when he is in a state of right relationship to God, can speak words which God can use to work his will. For the record, I am not talking about the mongrel Word of Faith monkey shines. These people have taken a truth and warped it to claim they have power to heal and to all sorts of magic tricks.

An American missionary in Japan, I believe in Okinawa, lived there during the WW II era and stayed at his mission station by faith to serve the Lord. The Japanese soldiers came to his location and threatened him. He did not know their language yet, but he went out to meet them. In English, he thought, he told them they were not to trouble him and his family, and to his amazement, they left at once. He later learned that the Japanese military commander heard him speak in fluent Japanese.

When God wills, in his sovereignty, to use your words, they can become anything he wishes. They can even be a sword in Christian warfare.

The Apostle Paul on the Word of God and Christian warfare:

An additional problem is that, without some deceptive manipulation of the Bible, the fundamental strategy employed in so called Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare is neither found in the Bible nor in church history. Scripture is being reexamined and rewritten through the lens of experience, resulting in truths that can not be derived from Scripture alone. Verses in Scripture are being wrested out of context to back up preconceived theories…

2 Corinthians 10:3-4:
One of the most common verses of Scripture cited is 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

The problem here is that the stage for these two verses is set in the verse immediately preceding these (V. 2) where Paul tells the Corinthians that he doesn’t want to be forced to be severe with those that accuse him of being governed by worldly motives or “walking according to the flesh”. He then goes on to say that though they have mortal bodies and lead normal human lives, the battle they are fighting is on the spiritual level.

2 Corinthians 10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

While he does not specify in verses 3 and 4 what the mighty spiritual weapons are that can "demolish strongholds" of evil, V.5 clearly points out that, in this context, strongholds are clearly imaginations, thoughts or arguments that run counter to the truth of God and contradict God-given revelations…

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Paul says it should be the aim of the Corinthians to bring all such thoughts and actions into submission to what God has revealed in His Word, which is obedience to Christ. Paul later enumerates the spiritual weapons in Ephesians 6:11-17, where he points out spiritual attack is always the preaching of the Gospel message. The sword of God's Word is even "sharper than any two-edged sword." Ephesians 6 gives the armor of God, and there are both offensive and defensive armor involved. MORE ON THIS HERE

So, your battle and mine is first and foremost that of dealing with our own minds and imaginations. There is no force greater for evil on earth than the imagination and mind of man. You will at once claim that Satan is more powerful, right? That is not what God says in his Word.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

There is nothing more wicked than your heart when it is running wild.

And, you cannot expect God to help you at all in Christian warfare if your heart is going wild:

Jeremiah 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

You can hide your thoughts from man and Satan. Neither one can read your thoughts. But, God can, and he will never add power and authority to anything you do if your mind is going evil.

And, your imagination?

Regarding the days just before the Genesis Flood, God says, Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Your greatest enemy is YOU. The war front is first in your mind and mine.

The Bismarck of Prussia, long ago, was a mighty military commander, and he won wars where his army was vastly outnumbered by the enemy. What was his secret? Unlike our modern armies, the Prussian army had no traitors at all. For this reason, the Bismarck would make sure that every soldier, down to the lowliest private, knew exactly what the battle plan was for the next morning. Because of this, every private had no excuse to have anything in his mind but exactly what the Bismarck had in his mind. The order to turn oblique, and then "fire," would not have needed to be given. Every foot soldier turned and fired precisely the same instant the Bismarck turned his horse and fired.

By the way, unlike commanders today, the Bismarck always went to battle with his army, and he was the only one mounted on a horse. The reason we have such wanton massacres by American and White Race armies today is because the commanders hide from the battle behind the lines or half way around the world. We might not have so much war in this world if Presidents and Kings had to lead their armies into battle. I commend the Bismarck to you Christian soldiers who lead in Christian warfare. You belong in the battle leading.

So, do you turn and fire at the same exact instant Jesus would turn and fire (spiritually)? Or, is you mind all cluttered with selfish thoughts, lust, and guilt?

Maybe you now understand why your words do not have the Power of God, the power of the Sword of the Lord.

Romans 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

A SUSPECT TEACHING- TERRITORIAL SPIRITS

As with so many areas of discussion of Christian warfare, this one is clouded with superstition by the Charismatic gurus. Also, occult and cultic teachings make nonsense of the territorial discussion when they claim they can take power over some territory.

The following is taken from a guest writer:

So, let us look at real territorial evil spirits as they are discussed in the Bible. We will try to learn if evil spirits actually have jurisdiction over certain locations as they serve their master, Satan.

Bel and Babylon:
When Jeremiah talks about the fall of Babylon he says "Bel is shamed" and "Merodach is broken in pieces" [Jeremiah 50:2]. Similarly God says “And I will execute judgment upon Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. [Jeremiah 51:44]

Legion:
The story of Jesus casting “Legion” out of the man who was living among the tombs [Mark 5] is particularly interesting. In verse 5 “Legion” earnestly implores Jesus “not to send them out of the country”. Although, in Luke’s account they beseech Jesus not to cast them “into the abyss.” [Luke 8:30-31]. These devils seem to have some attachment to the territory of Gaderra, but Jesus still confronts them in the person of the man they victimized.

Jesus did not run around the hill side bellowing and binding devils who had not manifest themselves. If he did not do this, you sure better mind your own business. This trick in which some Christian Warfare guru comes to town and casts the alleged prince of Satan out of town is a lot of rubbish. It reminds me of some of the tricks I saw growing up in Tanzania and Kenya in Africa. The witch doctor would send devils into your area, and then if you paid him enough goats, he would extract the devils from your area.

This territorial myth is also like the faith healing scam. The faith healer will only heal people who get in the healing line at a big tent meeting, and then, only after a generous offering was collected. You never caught a faith healer dropping by the local hospital and emptying it out of sheer mercy on the sick. Even so, you will never find a Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare huckster dropping in on ISIS in Allepo, Syria, and casting out all the devils in that place. Too dangerous?

Specific Principalities:
2 Kings relates when “Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria” [V.23], “the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Avva, and from Hamath and Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof” [V.24] Later on in the same chapter it is said that “every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places” [V.29] and “served their own gods, after the manner of the nations from among whom they had been carried away” [V.33]. Some specific principalities are mentioned And the men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima, and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burnt their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim. [2 Kings 17:30-31]

The important thing here is to see that these were not territories designated by Satan into which he placed a "prince." The king of Assyria imported pagan religion into Israel after he carried away the Israelites. He wanted to paganized the land of God's people. This is a fantastic model of denomination leaders in Evangelicalism sending demon possessed preachers into churches to destroy their zeal for Christ. It is NOT an example of territorial spirits installed by Satan.

Elymas The Sorcerer:
Contrary to what I have read, the story of Paul's encounter with Elymas the sorcerer in Acts 13 does not give any indication of a “territorial spirit”. The account simply says that the proconsul “called unto him Barnabas and Saul, and sought to hear the word of God” [V.7] but Elymas tried to “turn aside the proconsul from the faith” [V.8] . Paul then called Elymas “son of the devil,” and blinded him for a season which so astonished the proconsul that he believed. [Vs.9-12]

Pergamum, situated in what is present day Turkey:
Pergamum was a renowned cultural and political center with a library, and medical facilities. However it was also a major center of pagan religion with impressive temples, including the Temple of Dionysos (known in Rome as Baccus, god of wine), the famous horseshoe shaped altar of Zeus and the Temple of Serapis, built for the Egyptian Gods in the 2nd c. AD. It is not wonder that Jesus describes it as where Satan's throne is" and "where Satan dwells" although we do not know if Jesus meant this literally…

I know where thou dwellest, even where Satan's throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth. [Revelation 2:13]

We need to understand that certain evil spirits will hand out in an area simply because they are finite. They cannot be all over the place at one time. Only God is omnipresent. So, a devil till give the impression he owns some territory, when in fact, he simply finds the area hospitable to his perversions and wickedness. An example would be San Francisco. Devils who specialize in sodomy must love that city, and I would expect to see them manifesting if I lived there. But, is there a Prince of San Francisco? I doubt it.

Prince of Persia:
The Biblical illustration most commonly cited for the a) existence of territorial spirits and b) Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare, is Daniel 10. And it is certainly possible that the mentioned princes of Persia and Greece could be demons in charge of particular territories or kingdoms.

The account tells us that from Daniel’s first request for understanding, his prayer was heard, and an angel was dispatched to earth to visit him in answer to that prayer. However the “prince of the kingdom of Persia” opposed the angel, resulting in a three-week delay, and it was only when the help of Michael (one of the chief princes) was enlisted that the angel was finally able to complete his mission.

Since, on three occasions, Jesus referred to Satan as the prince of this world (John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11) and since Michael is referred to as “one of the chief princes” in Daniel 10:13, it is possible that all the “princes” referred to in chapter 10 are not human rulers but supernatural powers. Also this section of the book of Daniel does seem to give indication that certain demons have some kind of jurisdiction and power over particular territories on earth:

Then he (an angel) continued,

Daniel 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

However there is second consideration, brought up by the angel’s words in verse 20

Daniel 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

This bears a marked resemblance to Daniel’s prophecy found in Chapter 2 about actual historical events that were then yet in the future. Daniel's interpretation of the king Nebuchadnezzar’s dream was, in a nutshell, a prophecy concerning the rise and fall off successive empires.. Babylon was conquered by the Medes and Persians, who were in turn overthrown by the Greeks under Alexander the Great, but were eventually supplanted by the Roman Empire.

So when the angel speaks of the “prince of Greece” here, it is quite possible that he was referring to Alexander the Great, who conquered Persia some two hundred years after he spoke. In fact Daniel 11 details the events which will occur all the way from Daniel’s day to the end of the age. It is more likely that the only Satanic "prince" spirit was that of Persia.

It seems to be a fact that the Greeks generally allowed the Jews to run their state and initial interaction between the two cultures seemed to be very positive. Certainly Alexander the Great is looked on with respect by the Jews among whom Alexander remains a Jewish name to this day. So it is possible that the meaning of the angel’s words were that once the Persian empire was absorbed into Alexander’ empire, his work would be done and there would then be no more need of him at the Persian court.

The only lesson in this Prince of Persia account which is undeniable and serious it this: Satan, and his spiritual servants, can interrupt communication between God and us. For this reason, if you know you have a devil possessed person attending your local church, or in your circle of close friends, you may not be hearing from God very well. You preachers may not be seeing much comprehension when you preach. The devil needs to be cast out of the victim, or the person possessed needs to be run off.

The modern trendy invention of "princes" in a territory is a bit of mental masturbation by men who want to enslave the superstitious minds of Charismatic fools. By this trick, they cause the masses of Christians to believe that they need some kind of special Jesse Ventura type commando to cleanse their town of some imagined prince. Once the guru has come to town and exorcised the prince, and sent him down the road, a bill board is bought, and it reads, "The Prince of Barstow is bound." When this happened in Barstow, California, in the Mojave Dessert near us, at that same exact time, a man tried to open an adult bookstore in downtown Barstow. Hmmmm It seems the guru missed a prince.

For the record, neither Jesus nor any of his Apostles cast the alleged "Prince" out of any city of their day.

The most deadly promoter of territorialism is Peter Wagner from Fuller Seminary.

CAUTION: In the coming days, watch for the demonic activity of "Space Aliens," Nibiru, and "UFOS" to be intermingled with the territorial myths. Add a bit of Nephilim nonsense, and you will have a brew of madness which will need only human gullibility to make a great new movement.

And, the farmer hauled another load away.

2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

 

WIMP FACTOR

Satanists are wimps.

Satan is, at heart, a coward, for he knows he cannot overpower God. On the other hand, Satan is a bully with the human race. He knows he has power, and he is the prince of the evil power of the air, at least for now. Thus, if Bible believers understand this, they will learn that they have superior power, but ONLY if they enter the battle under the combat instructions in the Word of God and under the command if Jesus Christ. Go to war in your own fleshly power, and Satan will whip you every time.

The following tells of the power non-state terrorist groups have over larger enemies like the USA:

The non-state actor can benefit from the state’s fear of casualties in different ways.

Firstly, the casualty aversion policy means that the opponent state will be easily coerced if threats are directed towards its citizens. The state will normally do everything possible to avoid the deaths of innocent people. This puts the non-state actor in a more powerful position than it would otherwise have.

Secondly, casualty aversion also means that there are time limits for how long a conflict is justifiable. The non-state actor is usually well aware that the state will only fight for as long as it has support; otherwise the government runs the risk of not being reelected. Support will be likely to decrease with every single death of an innocent person, regardless of which side fired. This means that as long as the non-state actor avoids open confrontation and is carrying out sustained operations against soft targets such as the civilian population, there is chance of winning the conflict.

Thirdly, (Editor's comment) The state, when it wearies the citizens of war that goes on and on unresolved, will resort to False Flag events, like the sinking of the Lusatania, the demolition of the 9/11 towers, and even alleged terrorist attacks on schools, to fire up the hate of the state's citizens so that they scream for revenge. The non-state actor is blamed for the False Flag event.

Terrorists and guerillas wage war from the shadows because they live in perpetual fear of the larger organized army. Thus, they kill soldiers they capture, they rape women, and they castrate little boys, like ISIS does in the Middle East. Their battle plan is simply to try to survive the attacks of the larger state army until that army gets exhausted and goes home. Islam is the classic bully war maker which has no battle ethic.

So, we can count on members and operatives of Satan, in evil groups and denominations, to go limp with terror when confronted by the power of God. The best way to use the power of God is to attack with the Word of God, not our own cleverness. Many a devil has fled its victim when reference was made to the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Story of N______ and hymn singing.
N______ was a young adult man who attended our English speaking Sunday services regularly when we were in language school in Debre Birhan, Ethiopia. He was a member of the local Ethiopian church also, but he was not very active-- he attended every service but made no effort to serve in any way. One of the leaders of the Ethiopian church finally asked N______ why he was not involved more in the church life. N______ confessed that he was only attending all the services because devils were tormenting him, and he only got relief when in our services. He said the devils left him when he walked through the gate of our compound. They possessed him again as he left to go home.

The leaders of the church decided to try to help N______ with deliverance, but before they could get him alone, his family took him to the capital city, Addis Ababa, and they intended to take him to a mental hospital to get shock treatment, which is an evil practice from primitive medicine days.

The church leaders rushed to Addis Ababa and virtually kidnapped N______, and they took him to a safe home. They sat N______ in the center of the floor, surrounded him sitting in a circle, and they sang hymns about the power of God and the Blood of Jesus for eight solid hours. At that point, the devil in N______ raged and fled. N______ confessed faith in Jesus Christ, and he no longer was tormented by devils.

You may have heard or read of certain formulas for casting out devils. Bob Larson is a man who has made himself famous by using a special formula for this alleged ministry. He also has cameras ready to show off his special powers. The point of the story of N______ is that the devils are bullies, and when the people of God gather and exalt Jesus Christ and his death and shed Blood for our salvation, the devils become tormented and finally flee. Any other flamboyant gestures and recitations are worse then pointless-- they signal the devils that a spiritual clown is toying with them, and they play the game back. They may even leave the person to help the deluded exorcist believe he has some power. But, the devils will return to the victim again later.

Remember this as you come onto situations where spiritually or mentally weak people are being tormented by Satan or his imps. You need to find any way you can to exalt Jesus Christ and his Blood in the face of the tormentors. Hammer them without mercy until they flee, and that includes infiltrators in the Lord's Church who are bullying the saints.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

The key to deliverance from devils is Jesus Christ and YOU. Are your submitted totally to God, or are you showing off? Are you drawing near to God, or are you distracted with worldly pleasures and toys? Have you cleansed your hands of all sin in your life? Never go to war with Satan or his servants if you have unfinished business with God. For some reason, many devils seem to be able to know these things, and they may openly accuse you of your unfinished business.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

HANGING OUT YOUR SHINGLE

There is a tendency for Bible believers to be uninformed about Christian warfare. They see no evidence of devils in their life, not even in the market place or the work place. But, once they are informed, as you have been here, they become fascinated with the battle. The next thing they do I call Hanging Out Your Shingle. They let people know that they are informed in demonic issues and Christian warfare, as if they can advertise for business.

The next thing that happens is that they start having experiences with demonic manifestations and Satanic power. Soon, they are heavily involved in battle. This then turns to depression and an obsession with Satanic things. Finally, they end up making a life calling of hammering Satan and devils. I have a pastor friend who followed this pattern, and he is totally distracted and nearly useless to the Lord and the local church. He teaches on almost nothing but war with Satan.

Here is a man who craved power from God for wicked reasons:

Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

If you launch into Christian warfare for the chills and thrills, and if you are not called of God to be in that battle, something very ugly will happen to you.

A preacher in the south of the USA decided to start casting out devils in order to show how powerful he was. He had not gotten far when, in one of his meetings, a devil he was trying to cast out jumped on him, made him strip down naked, and he went running through the woods naked as a jay bird. He lost not only the power he claimed to have. He lost his place in the ministry of Christ.

Asymmetric Christian Warfare is not about casting out devils. It is about destroying the works of Satan, and that nearly always involves entirely other things. Having said that, if you DO encounter manifestations of devils in someone, you may be the one called of God to minister deliverance. Do not withhold help from the victim if at all possible. If you lack wisdom, ask God for it. SEND MAIL if you need biblical guidance.

CAUTION: I do not help people who think their dog of cat is possessed. The best plan there is to shoot it. (Stay legal though)

THE CHIEF END OF A CHRISTIAN WARRIOR?

The Westminster Catechism says that the chief end of men is to, "Glorify God and enjoy him forever."

The Bible says,

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Now, all you aspiring Asymmetric Christian Warriors need to get this very clear-- You are not called to make war-- You are called to glorify God. If, in glorifying God, you find Satan or his servants coming at you, or attacking your local church, or invading your family, you will ONLY glorify God by meeting Satan on the battlefield where the attack is coming from.

So, this implies another thought. Christian warfare is not a 24/7 experience.

Jesus took the disciples apart to pray. Also, you are told to study to show yourself approved unto God, and to rightly divide the Word of God. This means you must be feeding your soul with the Word of God, not just for warfare, but so that you walk closer and closer to Jesus Christ.

You see, my friend, when you go into Christian warfare around the clock, and when you become obsessed with casting out devils and thumping the Pope, you are walking closer and closer to Satan. READ THAT AGAIN PLEASE

The point is, when you do perpetual combat with the wicked, you are neglecting what Mary (sister of Martha) did not neglect-- sitting at the feet of Jesus. I have known men of God who got so involved in fighting battles with Satan that I became convinced that the devil was toying with these men in order to draw them away from Jesus Christ and the whole council of God.

Micah, above, said that we must "love mercy" in order to please God. When is the last time you showed mercy on some struggling saint?

Here is a Bible example of a mighty warrior, a man who went up the mountain and did warfare with the prophets of Baal and slew them all down by the river. But, he also had time for the people of God who were in need:

2 Kings 4:38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.
39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.
41 But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.

Your preacher is rather poor, and his kids have not been to Baskin Robbins in their whole life. Would you break off from kicking the Pope long enough to take the whole preacher's family to Baskin Robbins for banana splits? Have you recently done ANYTHING for an older saint who needs help with some repair issue in their home. If not, soldier, I am putting you on report. Go at once to your company commander (your pastor), and report for Micha 6:8 duty, more specifically, volunteer to repair something an old saint needs fixed.

THERE IS NOTHING MORE WORTHLESS THAN A CHRISTIAN WARRIOR WHO IS SO OBSESSED WITH BATTLE THAT HE CANNOT DO GOOD WORKS FOR A SPIRITUAL WAR VETERAN. Read THAT again.

FINAL THOUGHT: You do not have to go to war for Christ if for some physical reason you cannot. But, you CAN be sitting at the feet of Jesus no matter what your limitations are.
