This is not to say that Christian warfare does not happen at the gathering of the saints. There are infiltrators, and there are those who are oppressed by Satan and come looking for help. Deal with this as a spiritual ministry, not a literal combat zone.
The only physical aspect of Christian warfare might be when some demon possessed agent provocateur comes into your fellowship, and you have to physically remove him. At this point I allow an exception-- A Navy Seal, if you have one, might want to do the eviction. Several men in every church should have a permit to carry, AND CARRY. President Obama has imported hundreds of ISIS warriors, and they will be attacking churches soon. KILL THEM if they attack. This sort of thing is NOT persecution. It is general criminal chaos.
Again, as I state all over this journal, patriotism is NOT part of Christian warfare. Patriotism does not belong in the Lord's Church. Your nation, and America in particular, may soon be so utterly wicked that no flag, pledge of allegiance, or any other nationalistic fetish should be part of you proceedings. If you heard that the Russian Baptists, during the Soviet era in Russia, had been saluting the Red Flag on Sunday morning, you would be suspicious that they had sold out to the devilish political system.

VARIOUS TACTICS TO CONSIDER
1. Distract your enemy.
Engage the Catholic priest as he is going to do the Mass to make him late. If you overhear a Charismatic preacher in a restaurant waxing eloquent about himself, drop a plate of food on the floor toward him "by accident." If a beer truck pulls up to a location, flip a tract through the window onto the driver's seat. If a sodomite is clearly talking to a little boy in an obviously wicked way, stop and stand right by the queer and stare at him. If he whines, say nothing, just keep staring. If he grabs the boy, take him out. [Be sure to ask the boy if the man is his Daddy first.] Take a friend to a Hillary Clinton rally and start chanting, "Murder, murder, murder" at the top of your voices. Go to a ecumenical gathering of community ministers dressed to the nines so they think you are a minister. If they ask you what church you pastor, tell them you are in from out of town and pastor the Kingdom Road Christian Reformed Church of a town far away. Once the meeting is in progress, ask really dumb questions with a sincere manner. See how long you can keep it up before they ask you to leave. The way you will know you have really messed with their minds will be if they ask you to open with prayer or for the lunch. In which case, ask the Lord to show them what heretics they are. Laugh, and walk out. Anything you can do to slow the flow of evil is fair game.2. Force the enemy into a small space.
If you can think of a way to make the main meeting area of the enemy undesirable so that they must cram into a small space, good on ya. But, keep it legal. If you see a sodomite on the bus, sit down next to him, and tell him, "A queer got on this bus yesterday and got fresh with another guy on the bus, and the guy busted the queer's head. I wish I could have a go at one."3. Destroy supplies and communication.
If a Catholic church is open, and if no one is around, clean out the literature rack and throw it in the nearest dumpster. We used to go to a restaurant in Barstow, California which had a rack or Herbert W. Armstrong's World Tomorrow magazines in the entry. On the way out I would clean out the whole batch and throw them into the dumpster. The same for Jehovah's Witness literature. If you have access to the back of a Catholic church, clean out the wine bottles and flush them down the toilet. Leave the empty bottles. That way, when the Mass time comes Sunday morning they will have no booze. If you can get at the holy water container, add sugar and shake. There will be sticky fingers in the sanctuary next Sunday.4. Agent provocateur
We heard that a Catholic priest was going to have an evangelistic rally to save souls in Muskegon, Michigan. Several Protestant idiot pastors thought they could do God a service by joining the Whore of Rome's priest to "win souls." So, my wife and I and older kids decided to go and hand out Chick tracts about the Roman Catholic Church in front of the auditorium where they were to meet. We invited a former Catholic couple to come along and help us. We knew we could end up in Christian warfare, so we did not want a larger group present. The former Catholics flatly refused to come along, and we later learned they were agents provocateur sent to our church by the same Catholic priest doing the alleged evangelism. We dressed very well, looked respectable and official, and as people came to the meeting we handed out the tracts and pretended to be a welcoming group. It worked great, and almost everyone coming by took a tract and thanked us for it. After a while, the priest came outside, and we figured he was going to run us off. This is where he used asymmetric warfare on us. He told us he was delighted to see us trying to save souls, but he said we should come inside and put our tracts on his literature table and join them in the meeting. What genius things Satan's creeps think up. We told him we preferred to stay outside, and he went back in and left us alone. When you use asymmetric warfare, you must be prepared for the same tactics to be used on you. Being in much prayer before the action will prepare you not to be defeated or compromised.5. Use the enemy's stupidity against them.
TE Lawrance found that the Turks thought that the WW I bi-planes used for British reconnaissance were flying Jinn, or devils. So, he and Allanby used them liberally to terrify the Turks. On another occasion, Lawrence wanted the Turks to think he and his men were camped in a valley east of the Turks. So, he and his Arab men made tents of their blankets and any white robes they had, and made a decoy bivouac. The Turks saw this from a distance and it looked like it was Lawrence's bivouac. The Turks thought they were safe. Lawrance and his Arabs circled around behind the Turks and attacked them while they were lounging around carelessly.You need to understand that many Catholic priests, and many other cultic leaders, whether Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, or many others, are not well informed in their own documents. Use this stupid laziness by them to entrap them before their own people. You might attend a teaching session by some Mormon. Lay low until the question and answer time, and then ask, "Do we Mormons really believe that God is in bed right now perpetually copulating with his wives?" Or, "If God was like us long ago, and if he is progressing on and on into perfection, what if he decides it was a bad idea to crate the world, and he decides to destroy it and us with it?"
6. Do not fight in groups-- attack alone or in pairs.
Asymmetric warfare is most successful if the soldiers attack with hit and run tactics alone or in pairs. When you have three of more, they have to cover for each other, and the element of surprise is compromised. Also, if the action starts going wrong, one man can at once abandon the attack and flee. If he is with other men, he will feel obligated to help them flee, and they may refuse. This also implies that each Christian soldier needs to learn to envision and execute attacks which fit a one man or two scenario. The whole discipline is absolutely unlike conventional Christian warfare, such as casting out devils at a large gathering of Christians. Most of the alleged "Christian warfare" events with large crowds present are nothing more than circus events for church house sharks who are trying to validate their alleged powers before the offering is taken.Watch this show by Bob Larson. He chatters on and on analyzing the lady psychologically and spiritually. Psychology is a "science" with absolutely no laboratory research evidence, and NO CLINICAL TESTS to prove any of its 360+ disorders. So, Larson is making a show, which he does as a regular attraction, and the cameras and audience are always on hand for the full effect to those watching. Jesus never psychoanalyzed anyone. He met someone possessed, cast out the devil, and walked on down the road. This modern version is not Christian warfare. It is the church house copy of Barnum and Bailey's Circus. All the demonic deliverances I saw or heard of while I was growing up in Africa, and later as a missionary in Ethiopia and Kenya, were one person possessed and only a few people ministering, while a handful prayed. And, they were not staged. Stay away from this nonsense please. You will get enough head to head action with Satan, to write home about, as you go to war against his strongholds.

By the way, in the video you see Larson touching and patting ladies to comfort them. Here is the Apostle Paul on this:
1 Corinthians 7:1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.Larson is really looking for trouble, that is, if he has not already got it. Touching a possessed person casually is a deadly thing to do. When Jesus touched someone to heal them or deliver them he did it in the act of casting out the devil, not as a casual gesture. One pastor told of a time he was asked by a witch to cast out her devils. He met her, read Scripture, and he confessed that the woman was seducing him rather than seeking deliverance. He lost control, laid his hand on the woman's knee, and at that instant he was thrown across the room violently and hurt. The witch laughed loudly and walked away in victory. It is about time people start being VERY literal about the way Jesus conducted himself. Stop using the inventions of faith healers and devil chasers in modern Christendom.
Also, while we are on this Larson monkey shines. That cross he uses, touching the forehead of the possessed person..... that is a technique used by Catholic priests and is hundreds of years old and is used as an exorcism fetish practice by ungodly priests of Rome. Jesus had not fetishes. He used only his voice and authority as the Son of God. Let Larson and African witch doctors toss the chicken bones.
Finally, the physical wrestling match Larson had with the alleged demon NEVER happened when Jesus of the Apostles cast out devils. Can you see Jesus, with two disciples violently restraining a possessed person, roaring and raging at devils. He took charge, cast out the devil at once, and the person was delivered and in their right mind. He did not have to call out all the devils from India by name. This show is the result of Larson BEING PART OF THE PROBLEM rather than the solution.
7. Never repeat a tactic unless it can be done in total secrecy.
A tactic used by another Bible believer far far away, and in another era, may be repeated. But, if there is ANY chance your adversary has ever heard of what you are doing, they will recognize it and double down on you and wound you. Gideon only used his tactic with the horns, jugs, and torches one time. Everyone in that part of the world had to hear about that tactic later by word of mouth.8. Take no prisoners.
We are not talking about winning souls. In the course of battle, if you find someone in the enemy camp who clearly is seeking help to be delivered from the wicked, by all means give them the Gospel. But, take them from the scene of Battle. But, if you have the opportunity to enlist a rebel from the enemy camp, you are a fool to take them to you in any way. They are simply a rebel, and they have no zeal for Christ. They are unsaved and will do you intense harm by and by.Acts 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.Reject all help offered by anyone not vetted by you before hand.
9. Learn from your superiors and war veterans.
There is a tendency to shunt the old soldiers to the siding, and this is very true in the Lord's Church. Modern society, with media propaganda and hateful indoctrination at the school house, has pushed the notion that older folks are obsolete and need to at least shut up and sit in the corner. The eagerness of some doctors to pull the plug on aging patients is frightening. We had one, and we fled him in a flash.The old soldier is full of war stories, and that is especially so in the Lord's Church. There is possibly no better source of battle and strategy and warfare concepts, outside of the Bible, than the old Christian soldier. We certainly read Paul's experiences with interest. I suggest you find an old pastor or missionary, one who never wavered from the narrow way and the King James Bible, and include him in your strategy sessions. For what it is worth, I have included many of my own experiences as a missionary and pastor in this study on asymmetric warfare.
How was the battle in your day, sir?
As I write, an old pastor is being pushed out the door, gently, but firmly. This is done by marginalizing him in several ways. But, the real issue is not that he has lost his ability to lead in Christ. The issue is that his sermons on sin and righteousness and judgment are hammering certain young bucks who want to experiment with sin in their lives and homes. They imagine they will be more free to sin if the old pastor just moves along. Youthful zeal is wonderful stuff, but it takes maturity to avoid the pitfalls of the flesh, and an old pastor in the midst will be a very steadying force to keep the battle for the glory of Christ and not for self-exaltation and useless hubris.
Proverbs 20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.
Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
10. Learn from fellow warriors.
This means gatherings are a must in order to compare successes and failures. When gathered, identify like-minded peers in the battle, and pair up with them. Avoid those who are mavericks or deluded.We will have other topics about learning below. The point is, never stop learning. You cannot be the master of Satan, only God has the power to master him. The best learning source is the Bible and the examples of God's men and woman who were victorious. Then, after that, there are the Christians from the past, and among your friends, who have been victorious in battle. You must ask them to tell you their stories.
If there are warriors down the road in some Bible believing church, make it a point to keep in touch with them. If you feel it is safe, check with them before an action to make sure you are not duplicating something they are doing.
11. Never group people who disagree with each other.
Better to go every man on his own than have a war IN THE RANKS in the heat of the battle with Satan. There is no need or advantage to adopting any sort of command hierarchy. The highest rank in our warfare is that of Captain.Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Thus, those who would lead must be those who suffer the most from the Adversary. There is no such thing as a command post. The battle must be carried individually, or in pairs. Each must find his own objectives, and only after the attack is completed may we come together and sing and rejoice in victories and comfort the wounded. Organized Christian warfare is seldom a biblical idea, at least not in my Bible. Witness Jonathan, Gideon, Joshua, and Jael.
12. Use booby traps and mines that go off when the enemy arrives in his place of activity.
Art and Rich were in a mood to do the enemy harm one day in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The main center of Liberal Christ-hatred in that city was Fountain Street Church. Art and Rich went there in the middle of the week and entered the foyer. They gawked around looking as if they were sincerely interested in the monstrous church building. The caretaker came along and asked if they would like to see the inside of the church, and they told him they would. He let them into the sanctuary, talked a while about the glorious heritage of the church, and then told Art and Rich he needed to return to his work. He told them to just wander around and see anything of interest. Art and Rich thanked him and started gawking again. Once the caretaker was gone, Art and Rick whipped some pamphlets out of their coats which told about the Rapture of the Church- Millions Disappear. Art and Rich went rapidly down the pews slipping one of the pamphlets into every hymn book, as well as the hymn books of the choir.Now, this stealth bomb action was masterful. The effect of the pamphlets would not hit until the congregation picked up the hymn books to sing the next Sunday morning. At that point, the enemy would not be able to stop the effect of the thing. Everyone in the building would have a pamphlet to look at during the Liberal Christ-hating sermon, and many would be carried home.
Please note that, like Gideon, God did not send a voice from heaven telling Art and Rich about this stealth bomb. They, due to their zeal and boldness in Christ, thought it up themselves. God, who is a creator, expects you to be creative, and he wants you to find the tactics and strategies that do the most harm without being unlawful or sinful. And, most of these sort of booby trap methods are not ever possible as group actions. One of two at the most must do the thing.
13. Attack when your enemy is weak.
This is war, and the enemy is not a candidate for salvation. This is no time for mercy. If you see that the water bowls in the foyer of the Catholic church are dry, the ones filled with holy water so people can dip a finger in them and touch their head, put a handful of dirt in them. If the Mary statue in front of the Catholic church is looking poor, paint a sign that says, "Mary died." If a Muslim enters the restaurant and sits nearby, order pork chops in a large Texas drawl. If a New Age Satanist looking person enters the restaurant, pray louder than usual, and praise God for the great power of the Blood of Jesus over evil in the world. If the Satanist complains, ask them if you can pray for their attitude. If you see a local Liberal, Charismatic, or Baptist preacher coming out of the local bar with his wife, walk up to him and say, "Oh, is THIS your wife? I thought the lady I saw you with last week was you wife." Put the hammer to them. If you come to the abortion clinic when the doctor is arriving, and if there is a potential patron nearby, ask the doctor if your order of baby heads is ready yet. Then, turn to any lady waiting, and say, "I am sorry madam, but we do research on baby brains to see if women who get abortions have a lower IQ than other women." This could even be done by entering the waiting room and asking that question of the desk girl. It is urgent that you NOT be gentle with the wicked, only with wounded sheep and lost sheep.14. Build your grass roots league of warriors only from those who rejoice in your battle techniques.
Avoid, like a plague, those who ask if you are being too rough or unloving. But, vet every new recruit as to their affiliations and past history. God clearly did not want the huge army Gideon needed to do his asymmetric attack on the Midianites. So, God weeded them out by various techniques. Do NOT let anyone who is sincere come along to do warfare just to let them participate. Make sure you have only savvy Bible believers who have a track record of playing by the rules of the King James Bible.When some legendary Christian warrior comes around your church fellowship, do not lay hands on him suddenly. And, if he suggests tactical changes in your battle plans, politely reject his participation. The Holy Spirit did not bring you to the point you are now only to see some glory boy remake your battle group.
1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
15. Start a weekly bulletin by email.
Tell your people, and your superiors, of past actions and future actions. But, do not give details in email. Set meeting places to finalize actions. The reason is self-evident. NSA is listening, and someone there might be a member of the group you are attacking. Do not go social on Facebook or Twitter. Stealth is central to asymmetric warfare. DO use Twitter to wage war on the wicked. Use hashtags like #gay, #Catholic, and #sacredheart, and post information exposing the heresy.16. Do not break the law.
But, do not let this keep you from doing great harm once you feel you are within the law. Also, this is not terrorism. You must NOT announce to the enemy who you are and take credit for the attack. You want them to be as much as possible in the dark so you can hit them again before they learn of you. Remember, if even a sinner is hurt physically or mentally by your actions, you are a violator. Your task is to stop the enemy from occupying territory and leading sinners deeper into wickedness. You are trying to defend the flock of God. The only time a physical attack is in order is if the wicked attack you physically or molest your children or wives.A Christian warrior should be able to defend himself from general criminal or physical attack. For that sort of mongrel human action get a Permit to Carry. That is not Christian warfare. In all physical violence, give the enemy back more than he gave you. For example, if he shoots at your house with paint balls, do not shoot back with a gun. Get a good sling shot at a sporting goods store, and practice shooting marbles until you are accurate with it. Then, when he shoots your house with paint balls, shoot his car window with a marble. Let him raise the level of hostilities next, and then resort to the big stuff if needed. Do involve the Police in any nonspiritual mongrel violence so that if it escalates, they cannot say you did not try to resolve it.
17. Lead them astray.
The day may come when Government agents attend local church services to find ways to do us harm. Also, the day may come when local churches which do not become enslaved to the IRS via a nonprofit corporation registration will be attacked. They will be looking for any excuse to charge us with hate crimes, child abuse, or any other social evil they can concoct. Plan for them. Keep a seat in the front row for them so that they cannot watch the congregation as they sit in the back. Make a big fuss over "our special guest," and tell the ushers to FORCE THEM to sit in the front seat. Tell parents to quietly leave and take their children home if you know an agent has entered. You may want to confront the agent and tell him he must be an approved member to join in your meetings. Offer to meet him for coffee to discuss if he wants to become a member.If a sodomite is sent to you, assign men to go into the restroom whenever the sodomite enters to prevent him from molesting boys.
Tell everyone to put a bag of chips of a six pack of Coke in the trunk of their car, and carry it into the meeting. They can carry it home later. This will allow you to call your gatherings a private party. Let the church down the street be hauled off to the FEMA camp for boldly confronting Caesar. If an agent comes to your "party," have the home owner tell him he is not invited. The party is private. Obviously, you MUST meet in homes if you want to survive an age of official persecution.
18. No visitors or volunteers in this warfare.
Be VERY conscious that you will be sent agents provocateur. The officials will send a Militia or Tax Rebel to you in order to infiltrate. This person will purposely get themselves into trouble in order to bring the wrath of Caesar on you. All meetings must be by invitation only. Do your soul winning between Sundays, NEVER when the saints are gathered. I have experienced this myself. It is not a future issue. Churches are NOW being infiltrated by sleepers who will do great harm for Satan and Caesar one day. NEVER LET A FREEMASON INTO YOUR GATHERINGS.
19. If the enemy sees you coming, abandon the attack.
The last thing you want is to draw two lines or fronts across from each other. A debate is a classic losing battle scenario. I have seen debates, and there is NEVER a winner. You are the few. You will never be the majority, so you must only attack by stealth and asymmetrically. Satan can rally thousands. But, if you use the stealth of Gideon, you can have victory in Christ with your few. If four men are planned for an action, and only three show up, cancel it. Something will go wrong. Start over, and leave the fourth man out if he does not have a good reason for being AWOL.20. You need to find the real leader.
While some men have wisdom, some have knowledge, and some are clever at tricks, you must find an "armed prophet" for a leader. He will be armed with a deep knowledge of the Bible, be able to use it as a weapon to do destruction, and he must be able to speak for God with authority. This is not about bombast, bluster, and bull. It is about a man who will command respect by warriors, not scholars. A scholar is always full of himself. A Bible believing commander leads by example, and he earns the right to command. He will be extremely shy of committing his friends to battle in which they could become casualties. The only way this could possibly be you is if the men around you are 100% convinced that you are qualified. You cannot command men simply because you have information and confidence. Men must have become ready to follow you because you earned that privilege. If you exalt yourself into leadership, you are a tyrant. This is especially true of pastors and evangelists. Most tough talking preachers are full of horse leavings, and when the real war begins, they have to go to their office and answer email.Dr. Peter S Ruckman ran a Bible Institute in Florida where young men were trained to become pastors of the warrior class. He was famous for being bolder than his men, but he also had deep compassion for them. He learned that one of his students was flat broke, but the guy was determined to stick it out and graduate. For this reason, the guy ate rice and beans all the time and never could afford meat. Dr. Ruckman invited several other men students to go fishing in the ocean for mullet for the student in need. Dr. Ruckman said they would wade in and catch the mullet in shallow water, and he waded right in first. The other men followed. After they were in the water a while, Dr. Ruckman said, "There are sting rays in this water, but they stay on the bottom in the mud. You are safe if you do not step on one, so just shuffle along so that if there is a sting ray, your foot will come up under it, and it will swim off instead of stinging you." You can follow a man like that anywhere because he is fearless, wise, and he cares about you. He also has sharp survival skills.
21. Pragmatic action leads over ideology.
The only thing which is absolutely nonnegotiable is the clear teaching of the Bible.When in any warfare action, it is common for things to not go as planned. At this point the man of God looks for a way to turn the action to salvage whatever can be taken with victory. TE Lawrence gathered several tribes of Arabs to attack the Turkish supply station and railway junction. At the last minute, two tribes walked off because they could not get along with the others. So, TE Lawrence went out anyway to see if the men left could take the objective. He found the supply station way too well guarded for the few men he had left. So, he backed off, and they went north of the station and blew up a large railway bridge. This isolated the station from supplies, and another group, under another British commander, took the station later.
If you become obsessed with some warfare action, you may press on when you should not. You may also find a much better target after you are in motion. Be ready to alter the plans.
Acts 16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.
8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.22. Asymmetric warfare assumes that all actions will be unconventional and unique.
Robert Townsand, author of Up the Organization, was hired in in the 1960s by Avis Car Rental to save the company. Hertz was top in the trade, and Avis was falling fast. Townsand did not do the usual car rental commercials for TV. He used the fact that Avis was in second place, but he added an unconventional trick. This has to be the best Avis Care Rental Ad I ever saw. Giving away cars IS unconventional. But, given Avis was nearly bankrupt in the 1960s, Robert Townsand must be credited with saving Avis, which is still with us.So, how are your battle plans going? I can predict what is coming.
Most preachers are obsessed with Thursday night visitation, handing out tracts, and a few add the conventional warfare of holding up signs at intersections and preaching to the traffic. While there may be a small response to these tactics, it is always fired by hubris, that is, the rush of action regardless of the results.
Thus, when your pastor sees your zeal for Christian combat, and unless he is a rare bird indeed, he will try to pull you away from asymmetric tactics to keep his "visitation ministry" alive. Most pastors of Bible believing churches use people and coerce them into their pet programs. Before you dive into Asymmetric Christian Warfare you need to come to an understanding with your pastor, and if he does the jackboot routine and tells you he is in charge of all your operations, go find another local church and pastor to work under.
I have no intention of doing harm to godly Bible believing pastors in this study. But, I must tell you preachers, "You are not in charge, sir. The Captain of our salvation, and the Head of the Church, is Jesus Christ. Pastoral rule be damned. Jesus Christ rules, and if he leads a couple of your young men into battle in some way that puzzles you, step aside, and watch the action." A faithful pastor will be the teacher, and he will "do the work of an evangelist." What I long to hear of is a pastor who runs to the battle with the young men but does not command the battle.
Finally, use the battle tactics of Gideon to remind each other to avoid the conventional approach.
23. Learn from your enemy.
There is a saying, "A wise man can learn from a fool, but a fool cannot learn from a wise man." Learning from your enemy, as with a fool, is not a dialogue. When the fool is speaking, you can make observations and learn about him, but, in a dialogue, while you speak the fool learns nothing. If you want to know what is going on inside some cult or fallen church, go to the leader, and ask questions in a sincere manner. Try to learn how the enemy thinks and where he is weak.I am NOT talking about an enemy like a Catholic priest who is troubled or tired of the superstitions of the Roman Catholic Church. I had a Catholic priest friend who was a very zealous man. He taught ten Bible studies and several catechisms during the week, and on Sunday he preached for 45 minutes, which is unheard of in the Catholic Church. So, he was not my enemy. He has an opportunity to show the love of Christ and encourage him to come clear out of the Whore.
Jude spoke of the need to distinguish between potential believers and the enemy:
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.Which leads us to the next strategy.
24. Never attack people just because they are members of a heretic group.
You may well have to attack the leader, but when you find a follower or member who will respond to reason, especially if they show signs of being abused by the leaders or brutal members, show them mercy, and invite them to come out. Offer help they may need as they leave the cult or enemy group. When a soldier defects to the other side, the man needs lots of protection for a while because his former people will try to kill him. The first and foremost objective of the Bible believer is to glorify God, and one of the best ways to do that is to bring souls, that is, lost sinners, to Jesus for salvation. Never go to war when you can go to save souls instead. Read that again please. Of course, soul winning very often causes warfare because some listen while others attack.Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.Have you identified who is he heretic enemy of the stronghold you want to pull down, and have you distinguished him from his member / victims whom you should seek to save, making a difference.
25. Keep your actions mobile and irregular
It is not enough to be uncomplicated and self-directed. To this must be added mobility. There is no headquarters in asymmetric warfare, so keep moving and changing the battle situation. Do not always start into action from a predetermined point. Preachers involved in asymmetric actions will tend to want to start from the physical church house. If the enemy ever figures this out, he will plant a listening device there and know exactly what you are up to. In fact, if you are a preacher your instinct to take control will be the most deadly liability to asymmetric Christian warfare. If you are going street preaching, never meet at the church house. Meet at a restaurant nearby before you start, and never the same one twice.The day may come soon in the USA, and is upon us in many other nations, when the enemy will include Caesar and his agents. This means that Asymmetric Christian Warfare must become invisible to national interests. Give them no reason to accuse you of anything other than that you preached Christ. Also, gather any intelligence possible from Caesar's people which will help you do battle for Christ.
26. Know your own strengths and spiritual gifts.
If you do not have the gift to teach, do not launch an agent provocateur attack on a heretical seminary or Christian college. In other words, identify targets which suit your abilities and spiritual gifts. If you have a Christian warrior who cannot plod along patiently building the attack, either put him in a forward position to do reconnaissance, or simply leave him at home. Maybe he could do a Twitter, email, or comment attack on some heretic site on the Internet.27. Learn to relate to another social set or culture.
Preachers are notorious for relating to preacher culture. There was a Baptist preacher who claimed that he changed the oil in his car in his three piece suit. He demanded the men in the church dress in tree piece suits, and many other such things he did. If you are going to infiltrate the enemy camp, you cannot drag your church culture along with you.Some Christian young men wanted to hand out tracts at a hippie gathering long ago. So, they dressed like hippies, adopted the hip talk of their target group, and when they handed out Chick Gospel tracts, they said, "Yo dude, don't let the fuzz (police) see this." Every tract was at once read and passed around for others to read. It came across as hippie underground propaganda.
1 Corinthians 9:19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.28. You must be a peace maker among the troops.
There will be warriors, good ones, who do not agree with each other, or they may not agree with you. Asymmetric warfare is cultivated and successful only when each man is sold on the battle, for he must almost always eventually operate alone for a while. So, when a man disagrees, or when he wants to change the plan, it is your job, if you are leading, to be patient, hear him out, and if he is obviously making an unreasonable suggestion, smooth the thing over. In some way, "at least this time," he agrees to keep the unity of the operation. If you have no stomach for being a peace maker, go march in front of an abortion clinic where you can boss the protesters around. In asymmetric warfare, you are dealing with mavericks and men who are great warriors BECAUSE they can operate alone.Also, if you are a godly leader, you will know when you are wrong, or when you need to give way to keep the peace. If you cannot do this, you MUST NOT be a leader. Arrogance is not a gift of the Spirit.
Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
29. Stay logical when those around you are not.
This follows hard in the heels of 28. You cannot lead and develop your thoughts and strategies in a haphazard scatter brained manner. Are you REALLY a logical person by habit? Or, are you simply sure of yourself. They are not the same. We all tend to think well of ourselves, and we all tend to imagine our mind is very logical. If you have any doubt at all in this, have the grace to ask another brother to lead. And, NEVER ask a lady to lead in asymmetric Christian warfare. This never happened in Bible times, and it sure is not helpful today. Being politically correct about ANYTHING in Christian warfare is deadly.30. Be helpful to the enemy when he is doing himself harm.
This must be kept scrupulously legal, but if your adversary is starting up a program or "ministry" which will end in disaster, or it may end up getting him nothing he desires, facilitate him in any way you can. Just do not let him know that you have an ulterior motive. Also, you may be able to tie up the adversary in trivial details so that his program runs into the ditch while he is struggling.When I was in the US Army I was asked by the Chaplain to help start a coffee house for the soldiers on the week end. The men were running off of the bast to coffee houses which were full of anti-Vietnam people, some of them outright Communists. The men were lonely, and some who wanted to avoid the bars in the area went for the free coffee. I asked the Chaplain if we were going to be trying to get a message across for the Gospel. He said we would. But, about the time we were almost ready to open, he said I was to tone down the Gospel. He let some soldiers bring in LP records of Let Zeppelin, and other extreme vile rock albums to play on the record player, and the coffee house became a place to talk about anything but the Gospel. So, I did everything I could to make the thing a mad house or roaring music and late night rage. My motive was to drive the Chaplain mad so that he would decide to go back to the original plan. I discharged from the Army at that point, but at least I had the satisfaction of knowing the Gospel was not being all mixed up with Stairway to Heaven.
One rule over rides this tactic: Never help your enemy further into personal sin, such as adultery or drunkenness. That is evil.
31. Minimize risk.
You are the few. And, in Asymmetric Christian Warfare, you will learn that you have only a few friends willing to participate. You must not have any casualties. If any one of your people are caught by the enemy in the action, that man will never be able to participate again because word of mouth among your enemies will have marked him. So, if an action will clearly produce any casualties, either redesign it, or drop it altogether.32. Cooperate with a powerful ally.
You may be a Fundamental Baptist, and your adversary is the local Catholic Church or seminary. If there is a mighty warrior in the nearby Reformed Baptist or Orthodox Presbyterian church, especially if the fellow has an inside connection within the enemy camp, by all means link up with him if he is really a Bible believer. Just do not let your pastor know what you are doing. Fundamental Baptist preachers think every Christian who is not a fire breathing Baptist is wicked. Remember, in asymmetric Christian warfare there is no conventional army marching under a distinct banner with its own secret hand shake bugle call.Mark 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
TE Lawrence33. Cultivate a good memory and a record of failures and victories.
It is not noble to repeat the same dumb thing twice. If you see a real hazard during action, or your scheme was overturned by some diligent enemy, never let that happen again. Most Arabs in the Middle East have seen a flash flood come down a canyon in seconds. The same goes for cowboys and ranchers in the US Southwest. The rain may be many miles away, but a fierce thunder storm in the desert can send a violent flood for many miles. Most desert and ranch country people have heard stories of men who camped in a nice fertile low area, only to be wakened in the night be a roar as a wall of boulders and water came rushing upon them. They may escape, but their gear and even some cattle may be lost. That is the sort of thing you must remember the rest of you life.34. Put yourself in the path of the mighty.
You may know two pastors in town. One is a pretty good Bible teacher, but he is busy about many things that seem to do nothing to promote the Kingdom of God. The other pastor is a bit crazy, but he teaches with zeal, and in his spare time he is known for finding ways to destroy the works of Satan. Put yourself at the service of pastor two, and try to learn to deal with his crazy ways, that is, if you really want to be in the battle and used by Christ against the adversary.35. The heart and the mind are more powerful than technology.
You have a man who has fantastic skills in technology and hacking, and he has zeal to enter the battle for Christ. Then, you have another man who is technology illiterate, but he has a fantastic store of memorized Bible, and he has a heart for finding lost sheep and bringing them home. You are a fool if you put your first efforts on the first man. The second man will stay with you in any battle as long as the objective is righteous, and his Bible knowledge will win the day in any face to face showdown with Satanic forces. Do not get me wrong though, the first man is a great opportunity to do reconnaissance online, and see what the enemy is doing. And, he can find ways to do great harm to the enemy online. Put him to work as well.36. Take the hard tasks.
There are often two or more strategic choices of attack in asymmetric Christian warfare. The easy objective will be where the enemy expects you to attack. Go through the back door. Take the harder route to victory. You will usually find that you take the enemy totally be surprise.TE Lawrence was told that the line of attack against the Turks would have to be from the Mediterranean Sea coast or from the south. When he suggested from the east, that is, from the desert, he was told he and his Arab men would die of starvation attacking from that direction due to the violent nature of the desert. Thus, the Turks knew this, and they made no provision for an attack from the desert between Palestine and Iraq. And, that was the direction Lawrence and his Arab men attacked from. It was exceedingly rough going, but in the end they routed the Turks and killed most of them.
37. Do not get into a tactical rut..
One sure way to fail is to try to repeat the same battle tactic over and over. Your enemy will be waiting for you the second time.A friend of mine knew a cop who said that if my friend were to hold up three banks, the cops would be waiting for him at the third bank. We are creatures of habit, and we like to do what we understand. We also want to repeat something that worked very well the first time around.
Stop repeating your tactics. Zeal will not save the day when your enemy knows you are coming. In fact, rearranging the battle plan is almost always worthless. Start over from square one, abandon that particular battle action completely, and look for a new enemy and new tactics.
38. Competition is a demon.
Asymmetric Christian Warfare is NOT a contest to see if you and your particular brand of Baptists can fight the devil better than the boys from the Pentecostal church. I hate this competitive attitude among Bible believers. It is absolutely missing from the ministry of Jesus and the Apostle Paul. For example:Mark 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part. and.....1 Corinthians 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
If Jesus is exalted, and the devil is losing souls to Christ, you should be HELPING anyone doing that warfare. I am not talking about ecumenism. I am talking about military intelligence, reconnaissance, and supplies. If the Nazarenes run out of tracts in their street preaching, ship them a box full at once. If the missionary from another mission down the road from your work in Nairobi, Kenya is fighting the Catholics, and if he is exhausted, go take his place in the battle so he can rest for a day. Anyone who consistently kicks the Pope is my friend.
I was teaching a religion class in the public school in Eldoret, Kenya as a sideline to my work as headmaster of a Bible Institute. Religion is taught in all Kenyan public schools as an elective. The students were fighting to get into the class, not because they wanted to study the Bible, but because they wanted to learn some John Wayne American English. They speak a British English style in Kenya, and the theaters at that time were full of John Wayne movies. Well, I was delighted to teach them the Bible, while they were learning to say Novemberrrr instead of Novembaaaa.
We had to go on furlough right in the middle of the school year. I was upset because I had some smart big boys in the class who were asking all sorts of doctrinal questions. They were Catholic, and I would answer their questions from the Bible. They then went to the Catholic priests at the Dutch Catholic mission in town and hammered them mercilessly. I was sure the priests were delighted to hear I was leaving. So, I went and found the Southern Baptist missionary in town, a man of some doctrinal disagreement with me. But, he loved the Lord, the Word of God, AND he had a long tall Texas drawl. I asked him if he would take the class, and he was delighted. I asked him to wear his cowboy hat and boots, and lay on the Texan for the kids. I have never heard what happened, but when I get to heaven, I will be looking him up.
39. The intangible is greater than the concrete.
You are standing at the corner of the intersection in the center of you community. You are preaching mini-sermons to the cars when they stop for the light. You are getting the usual people, some roll down the window and shout, "preach it brother," while others yell curses at you. If this is all you went there to accomplish, you are stuck with little skirmishes, and nothing much is really going to happen.The intangible is this: You have no idea what pedestrians think, and they DO have an opinion. So, on two corners plant a seemingly innocent onlooker. He will stand there and listen to you, and as someone stops to look at you, he will say something like, "What do you think about these people?" The onlooker may say something like, "I cannot see how they are accomplishing any good." To which your plant then starts talking about how they are pretty much doing what John the Baptist did. This will lead to either more observations or question, and the intangible is getting you 100% more useful action going. Do find out what got the pedestrian's attention in your preaching, and use this to set up your preaching tactics next time.
In order to zero in on the intangible you will need to ask the Holy Spirit to fire your imagination to go well beyond the obvious, beyond the immediate action of the battle. What are you missing that is going on nearby?
40. Make the battlefield smaller.
When you walk onto the campus of a Catholic seminary, there are all sorts of battle zones. The library is the most obvious, for there will be people there studying who might be drawn into conversation. There is the tactic of looking like you are trying to find a book, and slip Gospel tracts into the books. But, there is the snack shop. That is a place to find action. How about the student union? But, if a group of you descend on the campus and try to occupy every one of those zones, you may find yourself rounded up and herded into a police car. That is just too much war at one time. Target one zone, send in one man or two, and the rest of you go hand out tracts at the beach or the mall. This way, you have a chance of making a contact which will bring on more contacts later.41. One battle is not the whole war.
This is like 40, but what we are talking about here is that your particular battle, and your results, do not rise or fall on how the whole war is going. There may be laws made to stop all evangelism, and most soul winners will cave in. So what? You can still take up your post in your battle ground and and defy the wicked and win that little battle.2 Samuel 23:11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.
12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.Shammah was one of the men in the list of mighty men of David. So, what is he doing defending a field of lentils? Well, the implication is that the lentils had been harvested, and the custom in the Middle East and Africa is to pile the lentils up in piles after the harvest, and then move them to storage later. This was food that the people needed just as much as David needed to conquer Philistia. Beware of belittling small battles and victories.
The Anabaptists of the 1500s were told it was illegal to preach on the streets of Germany. The Reformed Church and the Princes of Germany were determined to stop the impact of Anabaptist preachers in public. So, the preachers shucked off their preacher's clothes, dressed like peasants in burlap, and they would pop up on a street corner, preach a five minute sermon, and then trundle off carrying a bundle like they were on their way to market. The authorities could never catch them, and the ordinary people loved the show. And, the message got out anyway.
I know from experience that, when national governments outlaw open preaching and Christian witness, the unsaved become deeply curious. They want to know what is so dangerous about this message, and soul winners often see more, rather than less, decisions for Christ.
Albert Einstein42. Do your intuitions result in victories?
Nine tenths of Christian warfare can be taught and illustrated from the Bible. But, that last one tenth is the part that is your special skill, intuition. God prepared Gideon for the battle, God reduced his army vastly, but Gideon's intuition added the battle plan. God WANTS you to participate. You are not a robot.I find it hilarious that the US Military actually believes that robots can carry the battle by artificial intelligence. The thing called imagination, or intuition, will never be added to a robot. Why? Answer: It cannot be predicted. Every battle has a little twist to it which makes it unlike any battle before. At that point, an excellent leader, one who has developed intuitive skills, adds the final touch, and this may be the only reason the battle was won.
So, after a battle, whether there is victory or defeat, examine yourself to determine if your intuition went wrong just as a better decision was needed. If you never learn this, your Christian warfare will be scatter brained and gain little glory for Christ.

43. Exalt Christ first, the individual next, and the group last.
Most pastors, and especially Fundamental Baptist pastors, exalt the local church and programs in such a way that the pastor looks really cool. When they are at preacher's rallies, they can talk of nothing but themselves. Don't argue with me-- I have seen you preachers doing this like a plague.Oh, those preachers claim to want to glorify Jesus Christ, but when they look out over the gathering on Sunday morning, they see the empty pews, not the people present whom Jesus died for. They are most encouraged with new faces, not the faithful ones.
In Asymmetric Christian Warfare, no warrior is more important than his brother to Jesus Christ. Christ did not hand out the atonement in pints and quarts, and he bought each soul at a very high price. This must tell you to stop exalting the group, the denomination, the school, the mission, and YOU preacher, at the expense of the individual warrior.
The Roman Catholic Whore Church exalts images and statues so highly that there are stories of people dying trying to save an idol of Mary from a burning building. What an evil moment when a Christian leader places objects, money, or the church house itself above the persons of the members. But, that is exactly what they do when they say, "You should be here every time the doors are open." The church house has become an idol, a shrine where the mighty preacher calls the peasants to fill the pews and drop their nickels into his treasury.
For you, those few men who go to war with you are priceless. Never let the battle itself, or any other entity or objective, detract you from building those men up in the faith in Jesus Christ. Never gamble on their safety, and never let the battle draw them away from their families.
In a word, are you loyal to your men?
44. Learn to predict Satan's strategies.
Satan is the father of lies. He uses flattery. He believes he is the greatest. He hates Israel and the Jews. Satan loves death. And, he is a specialist at temptation. In any battle against Satan and his servants, you can predict various responses by his people. You can also learn to zero in on the traits of Satan in his servants and squelch them. You also need to read missionary biographies, the old ones, to see how those pioneers identified and withstood devilish attacks.1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.I grew up in lion country in Tanzania in Africa. The lions do not roar when they are stalking. When a lion stalks some animals, he will get close, and just before the rush to kill, the lion will roar. This is because some animals freeze for just one of two seconds. This gives he lion a great advantage, for the lion can leap 36 feet at 50 MPH, about one second per leap, but only for a few seconds. Thus, in two seconds the lion has 72 free feet of advantage before he has to chase a moving animal. Satan roars to panic you and make you stand still in terror and confusion for just long enough for him to grab you.
45. Spiritual power is greater than physical or technological power.
It is a great idea to use tracts in Christian warfare, and the Internet is a great tool in battle. But, when you make these the magic charm to your Christian warfare you are totally missing the real source of power-- The Lord Jesus Christ. In the effectual fervent prayer of one righteous warrior there is more power than in a million tracts or a YouTube site with hundreds of sermons.This is where people of God, who are not able to enter the battle for some reason, can be more powerful than you are. Get the old saints down on their knees, and the battle is won.
I had to deal with a fellow who was possessed of devils when I was pastoring in California. A previous attempt to help him resulted in my brother in Christ and I having to flee while quoting verses about the blood of Jesus. The next time, the man asked for help, I changed the venue. Instead of going to his home, I asked him to come to the church house.
But, the second time I asked an old prayer warrior to be in prayer at a certain time for the showdown. Also, God arranged for two older missionaries we knew to just "drop by" on their way to speak elsewhere. I asked the missionary brother to assist with the deliverance. He told me he had thought about it, and he felt God had sent him and his wife just for that event, and they should also be on their knees in prayer. My wife's missionary parents were there for a visit, and they too went into warfare prayer. When the possessed fellow walked into the church house, he was totally changed, and he was not even born again yet. His arrogant walk, tipped forward like a basketball player, and his hard facial expression, were totally gone. The deliverance went almost uneventfully, and he confessed faith in Christ. The real war is not physical after all.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Take the war to heaven, or all hell will break loose.
46. Be the friend of sinners.
Most preachers today are happy to let Jesus be "The sinner's friend," but in everyday life they are terrified when one of their members befriends a sinner.Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.Jesus was indeed found at feasts and gatherings of sinners. Ironically, Jesus ran off the Fundamentalist legalizers of his day..... the Pharisees. And, he died hanging between two criminals.
If you are going to defeat the devil's power people, and rip down their strongholds, you will gain little if you have not made friends of the victims, the little people, whom Satan has enslaved. I have had at least two good friends who were Roman Catholic priests. Both men were fed up with aspects of the Roman Whore. One priest took down the crucifix with the dead Jesus at the front of the sanctuary and replaced it with an empty cross. He complained that the people were coming in Sunday morning and kneeling and praying before statues so long that he had to cut the Mass short. I suggested he preach longer during the "homily." He also made a rule that the people could not pray to images until he had read the Scripture of the morning. They accepted the new rule, and I heard later from one of his members that he was preaching 45 minute sermons, which is absolutely unheard of in Catholic churches. Ironically, the attendance jumped way up with the new format. He loved me for helping him, and the Bible was at least the main event for a change.
I have known preachers who openly told me they had no time to go downtown and sit at the round table in the cafe with the good old boys and farmers. How utterly sad. They were missing the opportunity to be the friend of the men, and it is the men who lead the family to church, unless you think 75 bus loads of kids will build a New Testament church. Paul distinctly spent time with working people and men, and the Church of Jesus Christ thrived during his day. As to your blasted buses, are you aware, sir, that every Daddy's Ford has a back seat with which he will bring his kids to church with him. Real men, and mighty preachers, go downtown looking for the men. Pansy pimps of Satan sit back in the church office checking their email.
Your fire breathing preacher may tell you I was wicked for making such a friend of a Catholic priest.
Well, my priest friend kept on getting upset with Rome, and I finally gave him a copy of "Father" Charles Chiniquy on the sly. I did my part, and the priest retired, and I will learn in Heaven what happened for sure. I could not pull down the Vatican, much as I would love to, but I sure got a rush out of helping that priest on his journey out of Rome. The second priest was in a missionary order of Tridentine priests whose whole order in India was excommunicated because they would not add the the lingham (Shiva's penis) to the altar during the Mass. I, again, simply cheered him on in his rejection of the Vatican's paganizing of their own doctrines. The man also has given me much inside information regarding the Vatican.
The whole issue is this, are your sinner friends candidates for salvation, or are they helping YOU sin? If you are under the rule of Christ in your battle, and in your conscience, I trust you on the steps of Hell. If you are a waffling wimp sipping whiskey secretly with another fallen deacon in your church, I would not trust you sitting on the front pew.
47. Recruiting new warriors.
Do not point blank ask some potential warrior to join you. Ask him to join you in one of your strategy meetings, or during your celebration after the battle. Tell him war stories, both of victory and defeat. Let him virtually smell the gun powder in the air, as it were. If God wants him to go to war with you, he will ask to be included. If he does not catch the zeal for battle, you do not want him for any reason. I do not care how noble and masterful the man seems. If he is to be a warrior with you, you MUST let the Holy Spirit recruit him and convince him.1 Corinthians 7:37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
If some man comes to you and directly asks to be part of your Asymmetric Christian Warfare, ask him to meet you for coffee in a downtown cafe, a low end place where the sleaze and homeless may be found. Walk the streets until you find some homeless person, and ask the man (not lady) to join you for lunch. Just be friendly with the homeless man and see if you can get him talking about his life. Watch the Christian man who wants to be a warrior, and see how he behaves. Over zealous is just as deadly as dumb struck. The man you can trust in the heat of battle is the one who has authority over his own heart in the Lord. A real warrior in the model of Christ will be rough on rats with the devil, but he will be moved to tears in the presence of a whipped and bullied victim of the devil.

48. As you first start actions, begin building a doctrine of battle.
Every warrior in your fellowship MUST take time daily to search the Scriptures for spiritual battle principles. It is your job, at your gatherings, to draw these impressions from your group and organize them into a manual for new members. That must be your ONLY operating manual, other than the Bible, the final authority. Never put this manual on computer where it can be hacked. So, are you battling Satan on a foundation of biblical doctrine? There is no other foundation that results in victory.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.49. Use hardship as a rite of passage.
This is based 100% on the teachings of the Apostle Paul and Jesus:2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.If a man cannot master himself and his own flesh, how can he master Satan?
Luke 9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.This is not an apologetic for Christian warriors abandoning their families to go to war. But, it is a standard that calls the Christian warrior to not start the job and then abandon it.
As you find ways to add some hardship to your Christian warfare, NEVER demand anything of any man that you will not do yourself. Read that sentence again please.
In fact, the best hardship is when you and a prospective warrior brother go into that hardship together. I find some preachers revolting. They demand great sacrifice by their men, but these preachers will not do anything where they cannot wear their three piece suit and be near Krispy Kreme donuts.
I must add something on a topic I will never stop harping on-- fat warriors. The US Military will put a man out of the Military if he loses control of his weight. Heavy men are slow physically, AND they are slow mentally and spiritually. A huge fat preacher is a slob and absolutely is not controlling his appetites, and that means more than just gluttony. A fat preacher has lost control of a major appetite, and he is a walking advertisement that Satan wins in at least one area of his life. I would suggest you never base your Asymmetric Christian Warfare out of local church with a monster Gospel blimp of a pastor.

50. Use Satan's weakness against him.
You cannot build a high volume web site like the Vatican, but you can go read their articles and make stealth comments. GO HERE, and start the battle. You will need to be on Facebook to leave comments.The obvious point to attack your enemy is in his weak point. Catholic priests cannot marry, but most of them have a busy sex life on the sly. They are exceedingly weak in self-control. Many are also alcoholics, and "Please call back, Father is not available until 2 PM." When you deal with Catholics you need to use this fact to show them that the Mass and other sacraments do not make holy people. Whoever your enemy of the moment is, do you know his weaknesses? Are you delinquent in doing your intelligence before you go to war? No human military would think of attacking an enemy without infiltrating them and finding their weakness or their exposed flank.
51. Be an example in your combat demeanor
We have spoken of this several times above, but we need to stress this a lot more. Here is what the Bible tells us about being an example:1 Corinthians 4:16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
Paul lived in such a way that he could ask the saints to follow him into battle.
Philippians 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
That includes anyone who follows the example of Paul. Follow that person also.
"Followers together" I just noticed that. I suspect that what this means is that following together is the divine model, not following alone. We may go intro actual battle alone or in pairs in asymmetric warfare, but the war in general is one of fellowship in combat. Even spies depend on the team to back them up, and they come home to roar and celebrate with their fellow spies.
Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
This simply means that you must be mighty in faith and patience to qualify to expect people to follow you. If you are a man who falls into doubt, and if you become impatient with your fellow Christian who has problems, YOU MUST NOT TRY TO LEAD. You are not qualified.
John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.So, how did Jesus teach the disciples humility and service?
Answer: He humbled himself and served those he wanted to lead.
How did Jesus show his disciples what to do with little children?
Answer: He insisted that little children be brought to him, which by the way, was NOT the custom in the Middle East.
And finally, how did Jesus show his disciples the high standard of love for sinners?
Answer: John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

TE Lawrence set up an action in which a bridge was blasted when the locomotive rolled over it. The train was destroyed, and his Arab and British gunners opened fire on the train killing many Turkish soldiers riding the train. Once the Turks were dead, he did a head count of his men. Lawrence totally avoided battle situations which would result in any casualties if possible. One man, the personal black slave of Feisel, on loan from him to be personal attendant to Lawrence, was missing. Someone said they saw the slave after the explosion badly wounded on the other side of the train wreckage. A large contingent of Turkish troops were seen coming from the north, and all his Arab fighters were fleeing with camels loaded with loot from the attack. In spite of the danger of being caught by the Turks coming, Lawrence recruited two Arabs, and they ran to the train wreck area to find the slave. As they approached the area, the Turks from the north took position and started shooting at Lawrence. He had to call off the rescue, and he was miserable. The slave had a reputation of great mutual affection with Feisel, and Lawrence said the slave had been a very good companion to him. It was learned later that an Arab had found the slave badly hurt, and two other men helped load the slave on the back of the Arab who carried him quite a distance to safety, where he recovered later.
Loyalty is wonderful stuff, and it makes for great stories. Do not ask men to follow you if you are not BY INSTINCT (not by policy alone) loyal to your men. Witness the Captain of our salvation:
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.Do you leave the war zone before the last man is back and safe? If so, I hereby bust you back to private.
Do you have the reputation of being a helper to your fellow friends at arms?
Failure is not an option to Jesus Christ.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
52. Never attack an enemy, one who uses asymmetric warfare techniques, by using his techniques.
You must tempt your enemy to stand and fight in conventional ways before you attack him.If the Jehovah's Witnesses walk around handing out tracts at the county fair, you must not also hand out tracts that way. There will be confusion in the minds of the people. Open a booth with literature and use conventional warfare by giving away literature in an open way. If the JWs have a booth at the fair, give your literature away walking among the crowd.
Go around to people who have received the JW's tracts, and strike up conversation by asking who the distributors are and what the tracts say. Then, casually make notice to the person that the tract contradicts the Bible, and be ready to prove it. You may also assign several people to take tracts from the JWs and throw them away. Each combatant should hit each JW once, put on a jacket and sun glasses, and hit them again until you are caught. A third try might include a straw hat to hide your face in shadow- Approach with the sun behind you.
53. Get to know your fellow Christian soldiers personally.
In conventional national warfare the commanders have no interest in the lives of men in the lower ranks. They have no time for this, and most high ranking officers live in a jaded world of pomposity and grand self-exaltation. This disconnect with the lower ranks makes it easier to commit soldiers to DIP orders (Dead In Place).Not so with you. Your example is Jesus Christ himself.
To be a friend is both an honor and a sacred trust. The idea that we have the opportunity to be friends with God, is almost beyond imagination, and yet Abraham was called the “Friend of God” (James 2:23). Christ said to His disciples,
John 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Anyone who does what Jesus commands them should be a friend of yours. This verse is not telling you to only befriend saints who keep YOUR commands. That is a wicked interpretation and often used by jack boot preachers who want the saints to be their slaves.
The climate of our contemporary world is not good for making friends. It seems that the more people are congregated in large numbers, the more they become protective of their space, and often purposefully avoid making any new friends. Our homes become places of retreat which make it possible for us to close out the world. Through technology, people can be shoulder to shoulder in a New York City subway and be a thousand miles away with an I-Pad. This spirit makes it hard for Christians to be light, salt, and leaven in the world, and this is a negative force destroying the loyalty which Christ wants us to have for each other.
Captain Harry Truman, later to become President of the United States, was a Captain of an Artillery unit in WW I. They assigned him a bunch of Irish boys who were known as ornery and unmanageable. Harry molded them into a deadly fighting unit. How?
First, every soldier became his personal friend.
Second, while engaging the enemy in some deadly combat, Harry made a serious effort to never send his men into a fire fight where they were going to be easily killed. During one frontal attack, he took his unit through a forest in the fog in order to be ready for the attack while avoiding his men being seen and killed.
Third, Harry took the responsibility of "Spotter." This is the man in an artillery unit, during WW I days, who was positioned far ahead the cannon in a fox hole. A wire was run out to him, and using a field telephone, he called the coordinates to the gunners so they could hit the enemy. The job of "Spotter" was the most deadly task because the enemy desperately wanted to kill him so the gunners would have to guess where to fire. For these reasons, Harry Truman was loved by his men.
General George Patton was the opposite. He had a real habit of committing his soldiers to battle situations where he knew many would be killed. I knew a man who fought in Patton's tank brigade, and he said Patton was in more danger of being shot in the back of the head than by the enemy.
The men of the local church will love you if you lead in the battle against Satan while always thinking about how the battle will affect your friends.
53. Be assertive and ready for action.
Christian warfare is often thrust upon us be surprise attacks from Satan. A man walks into the local church gathering, sits down, and he is quiet and seems decent. You must AT ONCE go to him and engage him on conversation, welcoming him. Be yourself, and be sincere. Avoid open suspicion, but also realize that this is exactly how a devil possessed man will enter to do great harm. If you are the one who greeted him, you are the one who must keep an eye on him from then on.During Sunday School this man may ask a question which you realized is loaded. You now go into action. First, see if he asks no more questions. If not, leave him alone, but keep close watch on him. If he asks another loaded question, you must help him leave at once. By the way, the questions will be innocent sounding to the ladies and even to some men who never worked among evil minded men. But, you may catch filthy innuendoes or clever word tricks. I am describing a real life situation which I saw. If you do not remove the man at once, many of the ladies will be charmed by his good manners, not understanding his filthy tricks.
The longer it takes for one of the leading men to react to spiritual attacks in the assembly, the more certain it is that great evil will result. A man entered the local church who was well known as a sodomite to some of the leading men. The man was well received by the community at large, so most of the members did not realize what was happening. The man was NOT known to be godly in any way. Thus, one of the leading men would go into the rest room every time that man entered in the event that a child was in there. This went on for many weeks because no man, including the pastor, had the spiritual and manly character to simply meet the man at the door and send him away. This is a very good reason to unregister your local church with the IRS in the USA. As an unregistered church you have the right to decide who attends and who does not. As a nonprofit corporation you cannot refuse entrance to anyone at a public gathering.
54. Never interrupt or attack the enemy when he is making a mistake.
When the Pope stands before the United Nations and tells the world to keep an eye on Fundamentalists because they are evil, let him. I would never stop him at that point. Why? I want Fundamentalists to hear this beast of Satan so they know he is not a sweet heart. I want the battle lines made a lot more distinct, and when the Pope is being kind and gentle, weak brethren start thinking he is a nice guy. Pope Francis would love to kill you and me and every Bible believer in the world. In fact, he would like to kill a lot of Catholics who think he is the Antichrist. So, after that speech he gave, trying to set the world against Bible believers, you need to find your Catholic friend and ask them if Jesus would tell his followers to criminalize Bible believers. This will drive you Catholic friend farther from Rome and closer to Christ.Thus, when your enemy is doing himself, and the cause of Satan, harm, if you do anything, HELP HIM. If the priest at the funeral you attend has picked up the wrong prayer book, hand him your Bible. He reads everything he does, and never the Bible, only missals or prayer books. He will be lost even worse with a Bible in his hands. If he reads anything from the Bible, the peasants around will hear the Word of God instead of rubbish.
Finally, if a preacher is a jack boot brute, and if he is making a complete fool of himself in a meeting, do not interfere. Let him. This may help someone in the assembly realize they should leave.
55. Do not degrade your enemy to the point where you underestimate his guile and potential.
I hear people mocking at Satan and calling him filthy names, as if this is all right because Satan is so evil. Satan, and especially his servants, can be very decent at times. We had an agent provocateur in a church I pastored who was very helpful to all of us. He would fix things around the church and parsonage, and he even seemed to genuinely like what he was doing. But, whether he was conscious of it or not, he did some extreme harm to the local church, and we later learned he was keeping regular company with a powerful Catholic priest in the area.You must never be deceived by the niceness of the wicked, but you must be careful about exaggerating their personal characteristics. The believers watching need to only be told about the evil actions of such people. And, you may find that it is best to run the wicked off as quietly as possible due to weaker brethren whom he has deceived.
In a word, blasting and bad mouthing Satan will NOT make him go away.
HERE IS A MAD ATTEMPT TO STOMP ON THE DEVIL'S HEAD.
I believe this mob is possessed of devils. They are making a side show of fighting Satan.56. Hubris is for the enemy, not you.
You hand out tracts in the city, and some sodomites come along and start mocking and turning the crowd against you. They are, as always, extremely pleased with themselves, and giggle and laugh with each other, talking about how they have squelched your zeal.A. Do not give place to rage or open warfare. They have the high ground for now.
B. Do not give up hope in the battle.
Ask the Lord for an asymmetric response. Intuition is very urgently needed also. What is around that might turn the battle in your favor. If there is a crowd watching, turn and ask them, "How many of you would want to go to heaven if you knew it was full of these sort of people?" This will divide the crowd at once, and the sodomites may lose the majority, and they may get violent. You may also want to turn abruptly and retreat. Walk until they stop following you, but do not leave the area. Have a cup of coffee, and start over. Wear the devil out.
57. Do not abandon your strategy.
If you set out to hand out tracts, and then you find that someone failed to bring the tracts, do not fling around looking for something to do instead. The chances are very high that such an action will be a total flop. Unplanned battles result in disaster.Whatever the strategy you decided on in your planning session, that is what you should do. If you cannot postpone the action long enough to get the tracts and start over, terminate the action. Later, in the next planning session, discuss what you learned from that failed action.
58. Strike from the least expected place.
You go to the local Catholic Seminary, hoping to slip tracts into books in their library. But somehow, they learn you are coming and are waiting to block your entry. Stop, and try to determine if there is a way to leave the tracts in some other place in the seminary.
By the way, PLEASE dress the way the people do where the battle will be happening. If it is Catholic seminary, and the students are dressed well, do not go in there looking like you just came from a baboon convention with your ball cap on backwards. There is NO Jerk's Hall of Fame in heaven.
TE Lawrence adopted the dress of the Arabs who fought with him. His British military comrades did not know what to do with him because of this, but the Arabs accepted him as one of their own. He also ate their food, and slept and survived by the same methods they used.
59. Learn to wait and mark time.
You can use conventional warfare and out tracts downtown, or you can go to the local cafe and have coffee. The battle plan in the cafe is to sit there for a few hours, maybe reading the newspaper or a book (no computer- no I-pad!), and see if someone comes in whom you might engage in conversation. One friendship with a sinner in three hours is worth infinitely more than a thousand tracts being tossed into a trash can. Furthermore, to you who piously claim that God wants you to use scatter shot techniques with the Gospel, Jesus and Paul went looking for sinners one by one, and it took time.Can you imagine the Son of God, he who simply thought a thought, and worlds came into existence, sleeping in a boat as the disciples crossed the lake? He came to die for our sins, but for three and one half years he walked the hills of Galilee talking about the Kingdom of God. Could you wait so patiently, knowing your work was to die? So, what are three hours in a coffee shop or a hospital waiting room?
Consider please: Jesus never once said, "Hurry up Peter, we may be late to save a soul."
60. The use of spies.
We have not said enough about this. It is essential that you gain all the intelligence you can before each battle or action. This is usually best done by infiltration of the enemy camp.Sandra and Jerrald Tanner were deep into Mormonism. Sandra was the great great granddaughter of Brigham Young, and she was held in high regard by the Mormon high council in Salt Lake City. Both Sandra and her husband came to Christ and renounced Mormonism, but they understood at once that they had a powerful position from which to do great harm to the heresy of Mormonism. Sandra had access to the inner archives of the most secret files and historic data on Mormonism. So, she and her husband went into the Mormon Temple, and gained access to the files by pretense of needed information. They then copied thousands of paper files, and later, they published them for Christians to use in research of Mormonism and in witnessing to Mormons.
Infiltration is not hard to do, that is, in any open society like the USA, and Europe. So, send in someone who is savvy, clever at hiding his true identity, and who already has knowledge of the target group and their cult vocabulary. As is always the case with spies, do not necessarily tell your own people who the spy is. In the event you have an enemy's spy in YOUR church fellowship, he will pass on any knowledge of your intelligence gathering to the adversary. If you suspect someone in your group is a spy, arrange for him to receive intelligence about your actions, and he alone. Then, if the enemy takes action on that information, you know he is a spy. Send him packing at once.
61. Pick your battles carefully.
A battle which can be quick, far from your home turf, and which will do the most harm the the enemy-- THAT is the preferred place to fight Satan. This does not mean that Satan or his servants will stay far from your home or local church. You may be thrust into combat with Satanic forces right in your church house. What we are saying here is, when looking for battles, try to keep some distance between your home and church and the adversary.You can hand out tracts on Mainstreet, or you can drive to a rally of sodomites, or a Catholic Church outdoor event. The tracts may get a response, but at the sodomite rally a PA system will be used, and you can get at the sound equipment ahead of time. You can pull the speaker wires without being seen and flee. Or, you may have a member who can make a jamming device which will over ride the sound system with static or music. Decide which action will do the most harm to Satan. Of course, you may be able to hand out tracts at the sodomite rally, but forget the sound system. The sodomites will assume your people did that if you are there with tracts. Elsewhere we talk about keeping battles limited and simple.
Here is another tactic for the sodomite rally. Ask one of your men who is a woodsman to trap a skunk. For liability purposes, I will let you figure out what to do with the skunk.
62. Maximize your long range weapons.
TE Lawrence learned, in Arabia, that the long range guns did the most damage without his men being at much risk. In the battle against Satan and his forces, the long range guns are on the Internet. You need to condition all of your Christian warriors to stop playing online games and surfing YouTube for amusement, and use the Internet as a long range gun. Drop tweets into Twitter with hashtags leading to Christian truth. Make comments at Catholic, Mormon, and Charismatic sites, using Bible texts, to demolish the heretics. Send questions to heretics, leading them into discussion as if you are a member of theirs, and then politely ask questions which are deadly to their false teachings. Pretend you are confused and need help, and bring up Bible verses which "seem to contradict what we Mormons believe." If nothing else, you are tying down the heretic leader while he is trying to keep you from leaving the heretic group (he imagines). Use your imagination, and ask one another in your group for ideas. Always share your war stories when you come together for fellowship.63. Give your Christian warriors the freedom to do what they are good at.
Asymmetric Christian Warfare is not done with a grand scheme under which every soldier must buckle under and obey any order from the commander. The great power in ACW is that each soldier is able to fight alone or in pairs. In fact, this is absolutely required in ACW. So, learn by observation, and from battles previously fought, what each member's strong point is. Use him in that regularly. Do not waste his time trying to "train" him to do new things. Recruit others for that.You have a steady fellow who has zeal, but he is a bit introverted or quiet. Ask him to join the street preaching team, but never ask him to preach. Assign him to work the crowd by standing and listening with the crowd, and he should try to strike up conversations based on what is happening. In fact, he may be absolutely essential to any souls being saved at a street preaching event.
64. Let some men fight for revenge.
If you have a former Roman Catholic in your group, encourage him to take down Catholic strongholds. He will very likely enjoy that battle a lot more than invading the campus library at a Church of Christ college. Caution the man not to take revenge on particular Catholics who lead him astray in the past. Encourage him to aim higher for bigger targets, like Bishops and Cardinals. He may also know the trade language of the enemy well enough to fake his way into a Catholic inner circle where he can gather intelligence.65. Do not take careless risks.
The whole point of the battle is to pull down the stronghold. Guerrillas only fight when they know they will win. The same applies to you. You are always taking risks in any battle with Satanic forces, but extreme risks are out of order. They cause casualties, and they result in discouragement of the troops.General George Patton took his tank corp into Europe at the head of the massive invasion. At one point, he was so far ahead of the ground forces that he was in danger of being surrounded by losing the rear back up. He eventually overcame this, but he nearly destroyed the whole offensive by his arrogance. Plan for all issues you can before the action, and when you see the thing going to pieces, regroup and either start over or go home. The battle is not yours-- It is the Lord's.
66. Model and repeat successful behavior.
When you have very good results in the actions and behavior of one of your men, use his methods, and ask him to train all of you in it.I handed tracts out wherever I went in Michigan where I pastored. One day, as I was walking into the grocery store, I saw a man sitting in his car, obviously letting his wife do the shopping while he waited alone. I took a tract and walked over the the man. I handed it to him and said, "You look bored. Here is something to read while you wait." He glanced at the tract, and said, "Oh, I don't need this. I am already a Christian." The Lord gave me the next line, and I take no credit for it. I said, "Well, do you know someone else who is not born again and needs that message?" He looked at me startled, and said, "You are right. I need to hand these out, thanks," and he put the tract into his pocket.
Why did I tell you that story? Answer: It worked, and you need to try it also.
67. Integrate into the Ecumenical Community.
This is a great way to infiltrate Satanic strongholds. Pastors especially need to consider this tactic. You need to let your leading men know that what you are doing is a strategy to destroy, not facilitate ecumenism. Once part of the coffee mob, you are in a great place to gather intelligence. You can use this to let your Asymmetric Christian Warfare men know where to strike. Eventually, the ecumenical group will figure out what you are doing, and you will be shown the door.I taught at a Bible Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan long ago. The President of the school, who will go unnamed because some Fundamental Christians will think this is terrible, was approached by the nuns of an Eastern Catholic Church, a small ancient denomination. They had no Sunday School material, and they could not get any members to teach Sunday School. The nuns asked the school President to send some students from the Bible Institute to their church to teach Sunday School. The man agreed on condition that the students could bring their own Sunday School material and use their own Bibles. The nuns agreed. The Bible Institute students started teaching Sunday School, and in short order, the whole church, especially parents of the kids, were absolutely delighted because the kids were actually learning something and begging to go to Sunday School. Virtually no compromise was made by the students as to biblical truth. The whole operation had to be very clandestine, and the Bible Institute students had to promise to say nothing to anyone about it. And the result? All those kids in that Catholic Church heard the Gospel, and some confessed faith in Jesus Christ.
68. People smart must be added to Bible smart.
A man who can quote the Bible fluently by memory is a fantastic asset in ACW. But, if he has no sense of human nature and the wiles of Satan, he may not be able to target his Bible knowledge well.A friend of mine, while living in Florida, was street preaching one day. After a while, a Black lady came walking along, "with the attire of an harlot," and was headed for a well known brothel. My friend walked up to her and asked her why she was making a living that way. She got all nervous when she saw his Bible, and he gently quoted some Bible texts to her. He then did the "people wise" thing-- He asked her if her Mamma raised her to live the life she was living. She became so troubled that she walked away and around the block. When she came back around, my friend gently talked about how her Mamma taught her the fear of God and right living. The Black lady was horribly troubled, but she went into the brothel anyway. My friend knew that Black Americans do not give up their fear of God the same way White Americans do. He knew also that Black mothers are highly esteemed by their families. The lady may have later thought about these things as the Holy Spirit drew her. The key was for my friend to use the Black culture to advantage in soul winning.
69. Live each day as if it is your last.
Asymmetric Christian Warfare is not the main event in your life.If you are married, your wife comes first. And, if you have kids, they too come before ACW. I have seen Christian men obsessed with fighting the devil so much that their wife and kids hardly saw the man. This is wicked, and if you lead in a fellowship of Christian warriors, you must watch for this and send the soldier home to his family. I have a Bible text that is from another context, but the principle is exactly the same:
1 Corinthians 7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.One of the favorite ways Satan destroys Christian homes is to provide what seems like very urgent opportunities to either teach the Word, or fight potential battles for Christ. Once Satan sees a man who is obsessed with this, he will give him more. This is because Satan will sacrifice his power over some part of his kingdom in order to draw a Christian man away from his wife and family. The most guilty of this are pastors and evangelists. I never invited an evangelist to speak at any church I pastored if he did not bring his wife along. Peter did!
1 Corinthians 9:5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
Are you better than Peter?
70. Do not tolerate infighting.
Soldiers who disagree and haggle at one another over issues are soldiers who will totally compromise a battle. They also will fail to have one another's back.Paul and Barnabas disagreed over the usefulness of John Mark, a man who had been with them for a while. Their disagreement was so great that Paul and Barnabas had to part company over John Mark. No one is faulted in the Bible text, but it is clear that something was wrong because, long afterward, Paul asked another brother to send John Mark to him in prison because Paul was lonely and wanted fellowship.
Acts 15:36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;
40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.When two men get into such a disagreement, send both of them away for a time. Do not try to judge the matter. God did not include blame in the above text, even though one of the men must have been wrong in God's eyes. Use God as your example, and DO NOT hold court nor justify either man. The rest of the group needs to understand that you do not take sides in such things, and you will not tolerate it in Christian warfare.
71. Make a city of refuge for enemy soldiers who convert.
The local church seems like it should serve that purpose. But, the local church today is exclusively obsessed with real estate, and it is closed most of the time. Oh, you pastors will claim you are always available, but that is not what is needed. There must be a home, or even a store owned by a Bible believer, where enemy soldiers can flee to if they become convinced you have what they want. And, they must NOT be forced to wait until Sunday, when "the doors are open." When a soldier of Satan defects to Christ, or just because he is fed up with the works of Satan and heretics, he needs immediate care and comfort. If you let you pastor talk you into doing this at the church house, I promise you that you will find your victories spoiled over and over as some defector from Satan runs over to some other cult for consolation. The home of a Bible believing soldier is the best city of refuge for this purpose. But, there must not be children present because some defectors are possessed of devils.John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.If Jesus hung out all the time at the temple instead of the homes of his followers, Nicodemus might never have come looking for Jesus. He needed to be anonymous so that the other Pharisees would not know of his defection. Later, after Jesus died, Nicodemus was much more bold and helped embalm his body. John 19:39
I had a priest friend years ago, and he craved conversation about the errors of the Catholic Church. He would not have dared to be seen with me in a restaurant or in my home, so I went to the Catholic Church, and we talked in his office. Tell, me, would you go to talk with a Jehovah's Witness at their Kingdom Hall for the Gospels' sake. If you know you are 100% right with God, you can go to Hell to win souls and be as safe as if you were sitting in the second pew at the church house.
72. Attack the foundations of Satanic powers, not the petty things.
Exposing the sex life of a Catholic priest is not very useful. Catholics will just hate you. Your battles must be aimed much higher than that. Attack the place of teaching, and help Catholics see the heretical teachings of the Whore of Rome. Infiltrate a Catholic church, and find ways to help the priests become distracted or unable to do their ceremonies.Christopher Hitchens was a raging Atheist. So, his attack on the Roman Whore is not that of a Christian. But, as a warrior of Jesus Christ, you must see that attacking the Roman Catholic Church should be rough, mighty rough. Why are Bible believers so namby pamby when dealing with this Whore of Rome.
We claim God is our example, right? Well, read this and ask yourself, "Would I do this with Satan's heretics and devilish servants if I could?"
Leviticus 26:27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.73. Never complain, and never explain.
If you find that the battle went badly, or that someone failed to bring along something critical to the action, do not complain and blame. This is one of the most destructive things you can do. Make sure the next time to plan so that the issue does not repeat itself.We had a father son pig roast in a church I pastored. Everything went well, and in the end two men either were born again or rededicated their lives to Christ. During the meal served to the men and their sons, one of the church women insisted in sitting down with the men and chatting. The whole event was supposed to be a man thing, with everyone wearing coveralls, eating bar-b-qued pig, sitting on bails of hay, and shucking peanuts at the end of the meal. The lady in question aggravated me greatly because of her total disregard for the male bonding objective we had. All I could do was ignore her and plow forward. The Holy Spirit brought fruit in spite of her. And, the evangelist preached for 45 solid minutes. I wondered if some of the good old boys would complain about the long sermon, but one of the town reprobates came up to me and told me he had not heard good preaching like that in many years. I was floored. I expected him to belly ache over the long sermon. It helped that the evangelist was Sandy McDonald, one of the most mobile animated preachers I had ever seen. The good old boys loved it.
When something goes wrong, unless the whole action falls apart, plow ahead, and leave the results to the Lord.
74. Never adopt the enemy's ethics.
The devil fights dirty, and his servants do also. You will be subjected to false accusations, and it can be deadly.The Mormon Church in Saith David, Arizona, had the whole town to itself, well almost. There was only one other church in town and it was a Bible believing Baptist church. The year I visited the pastor there, a girl from the Baptist church had finished her senior year in High School with the highest grades in the class. At the graduation, she was not chosen as valedictorian, nor was she ranked as magna cum laudi. That was just how wretched the Mormons were in that town, and their minister encouraged dirty tricks. The Mormon church assigned a teen age boy to go to the Baptist church, pretend to be interested, get "under conviction," and walk the aisle to "get saved." He took several weeks to play his devilish stunt, and the Baptists believed he was sincere. Soon, he started dating one of the Baptist girls, and eventually broke her down and got her pregnant. At that point, the boy returned to the Mormon church, and the Mormon youth group there had a celebration, a victory celebration.
But, you are not called to such things. In spite of how much you would like to return evil for evil, your tactics must be to destroy Satan and his servants, not to make asses of bystanders. Be very careful that every action you plan can be precisely defended and illustrated from the life of righteous Bible characters, preferably Jesus Christ.
75. Make Jesus, not your denomination, famous in your community.
What virtue is there in showing the power of Baptists or Presbyterians? You must talk and walk and go to war in the name of Jesus Christ, not the name of your pastor or local church. If anyone but Jesus Christ receives the glory for your Asymmetric Christian Warfare, find another church to attend. Mega churches are terrible places to base a Christian warfare operation. They are doctrinally washed out, and the pastors are ego driven and organization dominated. Stick with small churches in the country or in the inner city. Suburban churches are banal trendy sloughs of despond.We need a word here about showing appreciation to your fellow warriors in Christ. Paul is our example:
Colossians 4:7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
8 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
10 Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
11 And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.There are other Epistles in which Paul speaks with affection of his fellow saints. Learn to speak well of your friends in Christian service without flattering them or exalting them. It is wicked to tempt another brother with flattery. He may inhale that flattery and think more of himself than he does of Jesus. But, manly devotion to, and appreciation for, other men who serve is needed among men of God.
76. Mold your team into an elite force.
But, elite only in that they are kind hearted to the weak and troubled, fierce against Satan and his servants, and apt to teach with patience the slowest learner. There is nothing noble about men who are fierce, and that is all there is to them.2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.Your model is NOT the US Navy Seals or some Black Ops mad men. They are of the world, and they have no qualities that a man of God must have. The verses above must be read to the group regularly, in fact, you might want to require that all men memorize them.
77. Never motivate men to compete with one another.
I know many preachers love competition. They use it in Sunday School and in youth programs. It is NOT in the Bible. Each servant of God answers ONLY to God, not you, and not whether or not he accomplished as much as the other guy. Competition in the Lord's Church is totally unlike Jesus Christ. He never pitted Peter against John.Ephesians 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
78. Turn enemies into friends.
This is ONLY done when an enemy becomes a born again Christian, AND he renounces all loyalty to the enemy he once served.During the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya, during the 1950s, the British were initially very successful in restraining the rebellion. But, there came a point at which they were unable to root the worst of the Mau Mau leaders and generals out of the highland forests. The Mau Mau had learned an extreme form of asymmetric warfare. This meant that the Mau Mau could perpetuate itself indefinitely in a war of attrition. In order to finally find, kill, or detain these hard core killers, certain highly skilled British soldiers started what were called Pseudo Operations.
When they captured a Mau Mau, particularly a leader, they took them to a special location, treated them well, and reasoned with them. They did NOT coerce them into helping the cause of the military. They also did not try to win over sleaze who had become Mau Mau simply to find a place to commit antisocial acts. A large number of those chosen for the Pseudo Program were "converted" (term used by the program), renounced Mau Mau, and made a 180 degree commitment to help the military find and destroy their former Mau Mau associates.
The reason this program worked so well was that the Mau Mau was extremely vile and evil in its oathing ceremony, and in its vicious acts of murder and mayhem. Once a Mau Mau member was given a chance to really meditate on what he was being asked to do as a Mau Mau, especially because he was forced to kill other Africans who would not join Mau Mau, he would "convert" with rage and hate for the Mau Mau who made him into an animal. The former Mau Mau in the Pseudo gangs, lead by a couple of the British soldiers, were so fearless and crafty in rooting out the enemy that the British handed over command of every operation to the Africans while the action was in progress. The British soldiers came along, with blackened faces, and hung back in the shadows to give cover to the gang.
When you go forth to "win souls," your job is not done when someone confesses faith in Jesus Christ. It is a treacherous thing to lead someone to Christ and then abandon him, but that is exactly what almost all Bible believing churches and pastors are doing today. Your most potent warriors will always be those who were NOT born into Christian homes. They will be those who were Christ haters, did great harm to the Gospel and the Lord's Church, and were finally convinced that the Gospel is the truth. When they convert, AND IF YOU DISCIPLE THEM FROM THE GET GO, they will become fearless warriors for Christ because they will come to hate the heresy or treachery they once served.
Ravi Zacharias was an Atheist in India, and at age 17 he tried to commit suicide. He was in the hospital, and in bad shape, and a local Christian worker visited him in the hospital, gave his mother a Bible, and asked her to read John 14 to him, which she did. Ravi caught the hope in that text, and he decided he needed a whole new life. He prayed, "Jesus if You are the one who gives life as it is meant to be, I want it. Please get me out of this hospital bed well, and I promise I will leave no stone unturned in my pursuit of truth." The rest is history. Ravi Zacharias is one of the most powerful apologists for biblical Christianity in the world today.

79. Talk to the enemy, not just to other Christians.
It has been my experience that the average Christian has no idea how a Roman Catholic thinks, especially a Catholic priest. This is because most Christians are taught by pastors to avoid Catholics like a plague. This, in turn, is because most Fundamental Baptists (and other denominations) fail to teach their own people enough Bible to be able to hold their ground when in the presence of heretics and cults. So, these slow bellied hireling pastors are terrified that if their members try to talk to a heretic or cultist their ignorant sheep may be converted.The irony is, if you ever want to defeat Satan on his own turf by winning souls of Catholics, Muslims, and other false religions and cults, you will have to learn how they think, what they teach, and their shop talk. And, you will find that Catholics, Muslims, and other heretics, come in several varieties within each cult. My friendships with Catholic priests have been priceless, and I have learned that these men are often weary of Rome and open to talk about their sorrows.
I tuned a piano for a Catholic church in Michigan with a convent next door. The "Mother Superior" of the convent showed me the piano, and then I made some comment about the Lord Jesus, letting my light shine a bit. The Mother Superior at once jumped in and started talking and asking questions. I soon realized she was a starving soul worn out completely with worldly busy work that did nothing to give her eternal hope or comfort. I then dove in, talking about the hope of the Bible believer in Christ Jesus. I did not judge or confront, I just exalted Jesus. She went away, and I tuned the piano, but when I was done, she started in again talking about life and her faith. I could tell she was terrified to leave the Roman Church, but she wanted something to feed her soul. This happened a year later when I retuned the piano. She had stored up several topics she wanted to talk about.
From this, I totally revised my assumptions about Catholic nuns. I used to assume they were sex buddies of the priests, which may well be the case many times. But, I learned that there are sincere nuns who thought that if they became a nun they would become close to God. In the end, they become spiritually starved and forced to pretend they are spiritual when around ordinary Catholics.
She also knew I was a pastor, and this seemed to fire up her zeal to talk about the Bible. In no way did she try to argue-- she just wanted to hear someone talk about Jesus. I also learned from this, and from other encounters with priests, that Catholic priests are some of the driest wells in the spiritual desert. Everyone around them is left parched and wasted in spirit. Then again, there are the other kind of priests who love to corner a true Bible believer because they know they can talk about Bible truth with someone who will have no ecumenical philosophical rubbish in his conversation. Some Catholic priests seem to actually love to get a Bible believer going so that they can hear straight orthodox Christian doctrine. It is sort of like a Hindu in Boston who goes around the a local pizza parlor and orders a pepperoni pizza in order to get a bit of meat.
It is cruel to deny these people caught in heresy and cults the chance to hear biblical Christianity discussed. But, there is a clear risk, and you must be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. That is, their seemingly sincere interest may be their way of setting you up for an invitation to join them in ecumenical conversations and even to join some ecumenical group. If you sense that this is where their "sincerity" is heading, you must rebuke them soundly and terminate that friendship at once.
I never said that Christian warfare would be easy.
Getting to know the enemy is an urgent part of your intelligence, and it will help determine what sort of attack on the enemy will work best. Also, you may find candidates for the Gospel and heaven, and, if you befriend them, you MUST NOT attack them later in the battle.
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.80. Quietly challenge faulty battle tactics.
Some of the most silly battle tactics come from pastors. They will tell you to hand out tracts anywhere. There are some places where other tactics would result in much better results, and there are times when handing out tracts is downright wrong.I get the clear impression, from being around many pastors, that they believe they should handle the heavy action, while the peasant Christians should just hand out tracts. This results in few if any real Christian warfare victories because the average pastor is a wimp as to battle with Satan. He is a pulpit warrior, which is what all those Generals are in the Pentagon.
You go to a hospital to win souls, or to visit a friend there. While at the hospital, you hand out tracts to various people, even to patients. Bad idea. The hospital will not like what you are doing because it is an invasion of privacy. Instead, ask the nurse if there is someone there who has no visitors and is badly depressed. If she tells you of someone, ask her to go tell that patient that he has a visitor if he approves. Do not go in and announce you are from the First Baptist Church of Blustertown. He does not need a church..... he needs Jesus.
Just walk in, and start talking like the patient is your friend. Listen while they talk about their pain or troubles. If you know you will do this ahead of time, bring along some oranges and bananas. Ask the patient if the food he is being served is OK. If he says it is terrible, ask what he misses. If it is at all possible, tell him you will go get him some. It will probably be a hamburger. Find out his favorite, and even if it is junk food, go buy it for him. DO check with the nurse to make sure you are not violating his diet restrictions. Before you leave the first visit, ask him if you can pray for him. During the second visit, ask if you can read the Bible for him. Pick a short Psalm of comfort. Then read a account of Jesus showing compassion on someone.
Use the Gideon Bible in the room if there is one. This will show the patient that you can read from any Bible, not just your own. For these visits, concealed carry is the rule. Buy a smallish Bible you can drop into your pocket so that the Bible is not pulled out until the patient is ready for it. You don't go into a new home as a visitor waving a 45 caliber revolver. THINK. You are not in this to prove your are a blood and guts Christian commando-- you are in it to exalt Jesus Christ and win souls.
Handing out tracts is like what fishermen call "chumming." You throw bait all around the boat to draw in fish, and then you drop your line into the water and hope a fish grabs the bait. What I just described in the hospital scenario above is like bass fishing, which is the opposite of chumming. You pick a spot near the bank, across the stream from a hole. Then, you pick a lure perfect for the weather, the shadows, and which you have learned will work well in that river. Then, you cast with precise accuracy so that your lure drops into the water right at the edge of the bank, or the reeds. Some men will even go out bass fishing on a totally dark night when the weather is hot and humid.
When an alleged expert at Christian warfare wants to go make an attack on Satan's turf, and it all sounds like "chumming," all that person is doing is trying to convince himself that he is a real GI Joe for God. Don't waste your time with him, and when you are alone sometime, rebuke him for not taking the time and effort to assure a victory in combat.
We titled this sub-topic "Quietly challenge faulty battle tactics." Regarding that preacher, or your fellow warrior, who thinks handing out tracts is the most noble battle plan- REBUKE THEM. Again, handing our tracts is "chumming." I hand out tracts, but I also know that I am not really doing the most harm to Satan, nor am I likely to have results. Rebuke anyone who thinks otherwise. Jesus and the Apostle Paul did all their attacks on Satan face to face. So should you, and so should your pastor. I want to stress this my friend. There are many pastors, far more than you would imagine, who are DSNO preachers. O SATAN NO HARM. Put the hammer to them.
A word on tracts: Why are they so limited in results?
1. They are not handed out with prayer.
Pray for every tract you hand out. Then target the tracts.2. The tracts are banal rubbish.
Little or no Scripture is used. Clever stories, and emotional bluster, are not the inspired Word of God. Thus, there is no promise that they will succeed. Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.3. They are handed out by wimps.
I followed a preacher through the check out one day, and after he paid and had his groceries in hand, he tossed a tract on the counter and rushed off. This is not even chumming. It would be like a fisherman throwing bait all around the boat and then rowing to shore without even throwing a line in the water. If you want a person to read a tract you will have to be personal, friendly, and take the time to motivate them to read or use the tract.You are in the check out line. Try to pick a tract on some social evil, and when you give it to the cashier say, "This is about a problem some people have. How about getting the message out be leaving it in the break room when you go on break?" This way, you give the person the notion they can do God a favor, and they will take it. Before they leave it in the break room though, THEY WILL READ IT. POW, you got the message out.
I had only one tract left in my pocket at the check out. I glanced at it, and it was about a girl who was molested and got saved and how she found peace from God. The check out was a girl, and I thought that tract could be taken badly. The Lord helped, and I said, "Do you know someone who has been sexually abused and needs help?" She said she did, and I handed her the tract and told her she might want to give it to her friend. She glanced through it quickly, and she said it might be just the thing her friend needed. POW, hit target again.
4. Follow up.
Ask what the person thought of the tract the next time you are with them.81. Every Bible believer can hear from the Holy Spirit.
This is based on a promise from Jesus himself:John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
As you plan an attack on Satan's stronghold, you will want to take council from the experienced Christians and experts in battle. The problem is, each asymmetric warfare action is unique, so who are the experts? It becomes urgent that you take council from every man in your group. There may be a piece of information that only one quiet tempered man knows, and it could make all the difference whether or not you win the battle. When looking for counsel in older Christian warriors, avoid men who only taught it. Find men who taught it AND went to war.
We had a Kenyan fellow in the local church in Nairobi, Kenya who was seen by some missionaries as a bit of a maverick, and they warned me to be careful with him. Enoch asked me to lunch one day, and it was not common in those days for an African Christian to sponsor the missionary to lunch. We were often seen as wealthy by African standards, even though, back in Michigan, we were lower middle class. I was delighted that Enoch wanted to sponsor me to lunch. We rode the bus, and we went to an African Cafe and had "bangers and chips," sausages and French fries. On the way home Enoch put a manilla envelope in his suit coat pocket with the top sticking out. I cautioned him that a pick pocket was sure to grab it on the bus. He laughed, and he told me that was the plan. He opened the envelop, and inside were several colorful Gospel tracts, one on stealing and God's mercy. It was Friday, pay day, and he assured me the envelope would be stolen before we got home.
When someone warns you about some Christian warrior, take it with a grain of salt. Some warriors are strange and a bit maverick, but they are often the ones with that bit of wisdom that makes all the difference during asymmetric Christian warfare.
82. Do not be discouraged by indifferent Christians.
There are plenty of skeptics when it comes to Asymmetric Christian Warfare. The worst are pastors and "Great Pillars of the Faith." Men who are passed off with long introductions, as great and mighty, are often only great wimps. In order to cover up their timidity, they will find fault with any spiritual battle plans which might show them up for the wimps they are. NEVER LET THEM JOIN THE BATTLE. And generally speaking, do not let them know the details of your battle plans. Some wimpy preachers are actually not even born again and are agents provocateur for Satan.Nehemiah had just such a "man of God" who tried to tempt him into wickedness:
Nehemiah 6:10 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
12 And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.The issue here was that Nehemiah was not allowed to be found in the temple with the doors locked because he was not a priest. Also, the whole thing was the work of his enemy. The first indication that you are under attack from a "prophet" type preacher or a "mighty man of God" is that you are being encouraged to be a wimp or postpone the battle.
83. Dress for the battle.
If you are street preaching, do not look like a slob. You can find plenty of those on YouTube. But, do not over dress either. Preachers have a way of over dressing for many occasions simply because they live by some Pharicaical law that a man cannot serve God unless he is wearing a three piece suit. Do not wear a cowboy hat in Boston, and do not wear a plaid driving cap in Texas.LIBRARY SCIENCE: If you want to infiltrate a Catholic seminary, dress up a bit so that you look just a little better than the students. If you are older, wear a coat and tie and wing tips so you look like some visiting scholar gathering research material for a book.
Have a line ready for the librarian if he wants to help you. "I am doing research into the responses of various Protestant denominations to Vatican II and the call for Ecumenism." If the Librarian asks you if you are Catholic, tell him you are and adjunct professor of Comparative Religion (this works ONLY if you are 35 or older) in some Protestant seminary in some city far away, and you are visiting friends nearby and thought you would do a bit of research on the side. If you are too youthful looking to be a professor, tell the librarian that you are a student from some nearby religious college. NEVER tell them you are from a Baptist of Bible believing college. Be sure you use the name of some dead beat religious university which would indeed be very ecumenical.
If the librarian takes you to that section of the library, thank him, and get very interested in a book and tell him this is exactly what you have been looking for. Then wander into the section on Catholic teachings and books on Mary, which will probably be in the section on Canon Law, and leave your tracts in books there. If they have security cameras, take the books to a study table, and have some blank papers the same size as the tracts, and pretend to be using them as bookmarks. Make a QR code for your web page, and print up a batch and cut them into individual sheets about 3" by 5". Slip these into the books so that they do not stick out. If you think someone is watching suspiciously, appear to be intently reading in about five books, slip in your "bookmarks," letting them stick out a bit. Next, go to the copy machine and scan them as if you are collecting research. If no one is watching, put the "bookmarks" back so that they do not show. MAKE QR CODE HERE

I have seen many attempts of do battle with Satan in which the "men of God," at least some of them, were not in the battle for Christ alone. Some are in it because there are girls involved. Christian warfare is no place to go a courting. No commander in a national army will tolerate sexual affairs during combat. Some men are along just for the amusement of the battle. Whatever the distraction, any man who lacks real soul felt zeal for the war to defeat Satan and his adversaries MUST BE LEFT BEHIND. Also, a man who cannot give the Gospel to a lost soul who is interested needs to go into training before going to battle.James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Acts 18:24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

85. Less is more.
When suggesting a new battle or adversary to consider, do not lay out a well developed battle plan at first. You could overwhelm your men with the enormity of it. You may also lack some very urgent detail which someone else in your group should handle. Broach the idea in a nutshell, and ask the men to think on it..... how it could be accomplished, intelligence needed, and logistics and supplies. At a later gathering, pull together all the thoughts of the men, and you will need to develop the skill of making one larger synthesis of all the information and suggestions they give you.Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
If you lack some wisdom or back history of the enemy, you MUST have an old warrior, even if he is half way around the world, whom you can call on for council.
My best friend and I had the idea that we wanted to start a trail camp in the High Sierras of California. During the summer, we would take a group of young men, vetted for godly zeal and physical stamina, and we would ride a long trail for a week while doing Bible studies and counseling all along the way. I knew an older man, a former missionary I respected for his very down to earth good sense, who lived in Pasadena. My friend and I went to call on him. We described our idea and the things we had determined we would need to do to make it happen. He thought it was a great idea, and he thought we might try it one day for sure, but he counseled us to finish college before we dove into the financial and logistical complications of such a ministry. We decided he was completely right, and we finished college. We never did the trail camp, but I still believe it is a great idea.
Before you go off half cocked, get all the intelligence and counsel you can, and once you have it all in order, plan the attack on the adversary.
86. Put for the fact-- a deadly path to sloth.
It happens with some warriors that they fall into macho conversations in which many ventures against the adversary are brought up and hashed out. Eventually, if something serious is not hammered into reality and carried out, your battle group will become a good old boys' club where tough talk becomes the battle by proxy, and no Christian warfare ever happens. This becomes a sorry joke, and you will become a Kim Clement type of side show.

Amen.The motto of Kim Clements, and all the wimps who blather and bluster about Christian warfare, is "Kick Devil Butt," but I say he is all about DO SATAN NO HARM. They are never known to do any REAL harm to any heretics or evil doers who serve Satan. Never let you band of Christian warriors become such a wimpy mob.
87. Attack the leaders of Satan's work, not the peasants.
It is not much use to stand on the street and waylay Roman Catholic laymen. They do not know the inner workings of the Catholic Church and the Vatican. Do your intelligence, learn Catholic doctrines which are heresy, and head out for the the rectory. Find a priest, and tell him you have some questions. Either ask questions as if you are a Catholic, or try to show him the unbiblical nature of Roman Catholicism. Show him that there is a great curse in Revelation 22:18-19 on anyone who adds to the Word of God, such as the many traditions added by the Church of Rome. Try to break down his reasoning, and show him that he is simply teaching Catholic church members to believe in Mother Goose religion. Ask him if the host is really the body of Jesus. Ask him why it does not taste like human flesh. Ask him what is happening when the host in the pyx is eaten by a rat. Are the rat droppings the body of Jesus? Ask him how the body of Jesus turns from the wafer into poop.It is cruel to ask an ordinary Catholic these questions, and you are not called to bully the helpless. Find the real adversary, the leader who is the pusher of Satanic heresy and doctrine. If you are going to attack Mormonism, go to the local Mormon Church and hammer the pastor. Ask him if God is having perpetual copulation with his wives. Ask him if his own wife will be pregnant forever and if she is looking forward to that. Ask him to prove from the Bible that Jesus is the brother of Lucifer. If you do not want to spend the time, and do the intelligence necessary to hammer the leaders of Satan, get out of the battle. You will end up tormenting ordinary victims of Satan instead of their leaders, and they will hate you for it.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Go to war with the principalities.
88. Collect intelligence information voraciously.
We have talked about intelligence, but I need to really press you on this.Your battle group must be feeding you intelligence and back history of the enemy all the time. Your spies need to collect it and send it to you. You must go wherever you need to go to learn what your enemy believes, where he moves and shakes, methods he uses to enslave the weak, and his own weak spots. This information should be gathered on any potential enemies you may want to attack at some later date. You must read books and doctrinal teachings of the enemy so you can prepare to answer and refute his heresies. And finally, all of this data must be filed somewhere which cannot be infiltrated by anyone. You may want to dedicate a computer to this, and never ever hook it up online. Anything you gather from the Internet on the enemy should be put on a thumb drive and transferred to the dedicated computer. You need to assume that NSA will soon be working for the Pope, and they will be passing on information on people like you and your friends.
I received an invitation, while pastoring in the California High Desert, to attend a gathering of pastors from the San Bernadino Country area which was held at Temple Emmanuel in the city of San Bernadino. This was a Liberal Judaism synagogue, so that explained why they would call a meeting of Christian ministers. The invitation told me that, "You will find you Christians roots in Judaism." I decided I wanted to know what was going on. I had ZERO interest in anything ecumenical, but I wanted to know what the enemy was up to. A triple Ph.D. Jewish lady was the speaker, and she was brilliant but very lost and on her way to hell. The whole thing was really rather pleasant. The people of the synagogue treated all of us ministers very well, and I learned some things. The lady speaker, Dr. Trudy Wiserosenman, was talking about how Jewish Rabbis and scholars give the ordinary Jews in their congregations biblical myths to believe in because these people needed to have objects of simple faith, while the wise scholars did not really believe in any of it personally. She then said, "I imagine you Christian ministers need to give your people simple objects of faith, like being born again, for them to believe in while you are more enlightened as to more liberal interpretations of your faith." At this point, the room became electric with energy.
A Holiness Church lady preacher stood and said very sweetly, "Oh, I believe Jesus died for my sins, and he saved me. I am not ashamed to call myself born again and tell others that I love Jesus." I look forward to visiting with that Holiness lady in Heaven, after we both have our doctrinal errors corrected. Her confession of faith was downright heroic. She said a bit more, and the Jewish lady Ph.D. was speechless and surprised.
Then, a very tall thin Lutheran pastor unfolded slowly like a jack knife opening, and he gave witness to the absolute need to preach salvation by faith in Jesus Christ to receive the new birth. I was sitting with a born again Jew who had a ministry in the area and had crashed the meeting, and he was jabbing me in the ribs and grinning from ear to ear at the consternation of the lady speaker. Then, a short stocky Catholic priest jumped up, and he boldly and emphatically said that his church no longer preached that salvation by faith in Jesus was necessary. The lady Ph.D. was even more shocked. She obviously was not ready for such a brash denial of the core belief of the Catholic Church.
Afterward, I went up to the Catholic priest, and not introducing myself, in order to leave him in suspense, I became very stern, and I said, "Father, I wonder if Pope John Paul were here now, would he be pleased to hear you deny the cardinal belief of the Christian faith?" I glared at him, and his eyes and expression were in full panic. I then brusquely walked away. I am sure he was thinking, "Who is this, Cardinal who? Where did he come from? Will he fink on me?" Later I went to Rabbi Cohen, the head Rabbi at Temple Emmanuel, and I told him, "Rabbi, these men here seem to be very friendly to you, and I am sure they enjoyed themselves because of your hospitality. But, Rabbi, the day will come, according to the Prophet Daniel, when these religious people, along with an evil prince leading them, will once again launch an unimaginable holocaust against all Jews in the world and Israel. The only true friends you have here today are those who have a simple and sincere faith in Jesus Christ. Most of these pastors do not believe anything."
Long story, I know, but I hope you see that it takes some serious intelligence gathering to prepare yourself for Christian warfare. I did not always tell my church people, to whom I was pastor, where I went to spy on the adversary. Some would have thought I was defecting. After a number of years I could tell them because they saw the priceless benefit of intelligence gathering, and some even did their own spying and gave me information that was very useful. I also found that, after I had been at intelligence gathering for a number of years, the word got around, even to Christians outside my local church, that I was spying out the enemy regularly. People from all over the area started finding events and sources for me. God will send you much of the intelligence you need if you get serious about it. You pastors are not much use in any spiritual battle if you think intelligence gathering is a waste of time.
Dave's wife had left him, but she had not filed for divorce. Dave was doing everything he could to keep his wife and convince her he was going to live for the Lord. The problem was, as long as Dave was unsaved, his wife got lots of sympathy from her local church. But, once Dave was born again, she no longer got all that sympathy. She then started running around with other women who encouraged her to divorce Dave. Then, she started meeting an older man from a city about 90 miles away. Dave asked me if I would help him confront the man. I told him I would, and I called the man and told him he needed to meet me half way, and Dave would be along. I told him we needed to talk about his friendship with Dave's wife. The man agreed. I had one piece of intelligence on the man. He was the Boy Scout leader for a big area of California. When we met, the man claimed he did not have a romantic relationship with Dave's wife. I told him I did not believe him, and I asked him, "What do you think your Boy Scout associates would think if they learned you were stealing another man's wife?" The old boy panicked, and he promised to break off all contact with the lady, which he did.
There is a time to show no mercy on the wicked.

89. If your pastor asks you to do battle, say yes, and find a way later.
This only applies if you have a pastor who is really a servant of Christ and a tender hearted shepherd of the sheep. Never let a jackboot preacher drive you along. He will cause you serious harm. But, for a godly man you ought to make every effort to do Satan great harm in any area which is troubling the leader of your fellowship. If he has any amount of age on him, it is your job to go to war for him.Psalms 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.If you and your battle group are the spiritual children of your pastor, you should make sure he does not have to speak with the enemy in the gate. It is wicked to let an aged pastor go to war alone with the devil's crowd.
A sodomite comes into the church one Sunday morning. Do you let the pastor eat his heart out wondering what will happen next, or do you and a couple of the battle group sidle up the the queer and encourage him to leave at once. Do you follow him like a hawk, including into the restroom, to make sure he cannot get near any little boys? If he makes trouble, do you tell the pastor that he should dismiss the fellowship at once in order to prevent a serious problem? Do you call the police and inform them you have issues that need their attention?

This list of tactics is meant for Christian warriors who want to do battle against Satan and his evil forces, both in the spirit world and in the human population who are sold out to Satan. Any tactic which seems to sound like ordinary human invention, that which is used by the militia and political rebels, is 100% coincidental. I have no interest in rebellion against human government and authority.
