ALAS!
ALAS! YE LAWYERS! Many
organizations such as “National Congress for Legal Reform,” “Americans
for Justice” and “HALT”(Help Abolish Legal Tyranny) are spontaneously
being created by citizens of this nation who believe they have been mistreated
by the legal system and the lack of separation of powers. We have lawyer-legislators
making the laws, lawyer-judges adjudicating the laws, and lawyer-prosecutors enforcing
the laws. Lord Acton once said “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts
absolutely.” This is what we have in America today. There is no separation
of powers which is the cornerstone of this Republic. (See Federalist Paper #51)

it has been said, repeats itself. If one studies The New Testament of the Bible
one finds certain passages of Matthew, Mark, and Luke referring to lawyers of
that era. It seems they are as true today as they were in biblical times.
Throughout history great religious leaders have sought to bring order out of chaos.
The most effective method of doing this has always been by preaching the truth.
Truth brings light to darkness, it establishes a foundation for order, and it
destroys false concepts.
Yet, there have always been groups who twist the truth to serve their own purpose.
Characteristically these groups are not themselves productive, in the ordinary
sense, but they establish rules and laws that permit them to control other groups
that are productive. In this manner they achieve power and wealth. Their lust
for more of these two impostors eventuates in the ultimate demise or extreme weakening
of their position.
For men to live in peace with one another, they establish laws and voluntarily
relinquish certain innate freedoms in order to make these laws work. When laws
are not enforced, new laws multiply geometrically without the required result.
Most new laws pass more power and wealth to those who make them, and to those
who are charged with enforcing them. An incredible amount of lawyers have by these
laws assured themselves of lifetime work. Thirty- seven percent of the Congress
and Senate are lawyers, and one out of every twenty persons in Washington, DC
is a lawyer. The United States has eighty percent of the worlds lawyers, and the
highest per-capita prison population in the world. Law schools are filled, and
unfortunately they teach aspiring students how to win-not how to search for and
enforce the truth. This could be like a stick of dynamite ready to blowup in our
faces. Matthew
23: 13-15 “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut
up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither
suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long
prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 15 Woe unto you, scribes
and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte,
and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
” Since
lawyers primarily make the laws and write them in “legalese” they have
progressively made this nation dependent on their trade. For example: in order
to pass your belongings to others at your death, your estate not only must pay
taxes, but everything must go through “probate.” This is totally unnecessary
and extremely expensive system created by lawyers who make wills and get themselves
appointed executor. They will charge 5 to 15% of a person’s life earnings
to complete a simple task. The horrors of probate that permit “stealing from
widows” and the whole demeaning process is only to well known by anyone who
has inherited something from a loved one. How often we hear about an estate being
bled by unscrupulous lawyers! Many countries throughout the world, one only has
to file his will in the local post office and the registrar carries it out with
no fear or complications. Mark
12:38-41“And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which
love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 39 And
the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 40 Which
devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive
greater damnation. 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how
the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
” In
order to dissolve a marriage, the cost can be minimal for those who have nothing,
but astronomical to those with a few holdings. The price seems to depend on “what
the traffic can bear.” Far from helping to make an unpleasant and emotionally
devastating event easier, many lawyers compound, complicate and prolong the proceedings
so that distrust and even hate prevail where love once lived. Many people who
have been involved in an argument with another and turned to the legal system
for help have found themselves in an endless morass of legal maneuvering that
ends when the money is gone. In our divorce courts, lawyers are referred to as
“family butchers,” judges as “family executioners,” and courthouses
as “family slaughterhouses.” Mt
5:25-26 "Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him;
lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver
thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee,
Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing."
The “tort”
system of law as practiced in the United States is the cruelest of all legal maneuvers.
It immediately enriches a few lawyers while destroying professions, businesses,
professional amenities, and individuals. Yet the government controlled by lawyers
refuse to put an end to this insanity. So insurance rates rise to the sky, and
many cannot afford them. But, legislatures controlled by lawyers pass laws requiring
people to carry certain types of insurance. This insures a treasure trove waiting
to be plucked by the lawyers.
Delayed justice, postponed trials, minimal sentences, early parole and even increasing
crime feed a system where a good policeman sees his dangerous work rewarded with
release on a minuscule technicality or worse a judges whim. Matthew
23:25-26 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean
the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion
and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup
and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. ”
Honorable
professions are being severely limited in their ability to provide reasonable
services, and their credibility is being destroyed by the accusing finger of the
lawyers who use half-truths and falsehood to create suspicion, confusion, and
controversy so more legal work will result. There is little these professions
can do but comply with the huge paper work load imposed by imperious bureaucracy
created by lawyers. Matthew
23: 3-5 “All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and
do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind
heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they
themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works
they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge
the borders of their garments, .”
The litany of abuses goes on and on to involve every segment of American life.
While the concept of the “law” is correct it is cleverly twisted to
achieve the ambition of one select profession. The search for truth, justice,
and safety still remain only an ideal.
Democracy is sweeping the nations of the world and freedom is ringing in every
heart. Yet here in the greatest democracy of all, we find ourselves progressively
enslaved by a profession composed of less than 1/3% of our people.
We first need criminal justice to make our lives safe. We do not need legal maneuvering
that prolongs and weakens the process of the courts and saps the energy of the
nation. We
need civil justice which will permit the departments of government to accomplish
all the things we pay taxes for, but are denied by litigation and the unfair tort
system. Municipalities should not go bankrupt because of an accident.
We need commercial justice which permits our nation to create, produce and trade
effectively. Onerous laws enforced by a massive bureaucracy are robbing our people
of their ability and desire to compete with the nations of the world.

of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law,
judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the
other undone. ”
And so it is today that these teachings of Jesus Christ are finding the same profession
again practicing the same excesses. It is obvious now as it was then that lawyers
strive to control our lives-to their benefit. To prevent this we must not vote
for them, for once they control our government, and they almost do now, they can
control our lives. HELP
SAVE AMERICA- DON’T VOTE FOR LAWYERS Strong
words -- yes! Because our “legal-criminal-justice-system” is a failure!
Everywhere there is increasing crime, overcrowded prisons, overtaxed courts, early
parole, endless litigation and more crime. Huge settlements for liability claims
are bankrupting businesses, municipalities, and individuals. A bureaucracy which
demands mountains of paperwork to satisfy the lawyers is crushing our everyday
lives. Problems with lawyers are endless and we are held hostage by a profession
that fails our citizenry, but controls our government.
In the Congress of the United States there are 535 senators and representatives.
Lawyers comprise an incredible 37% of our government. The conflict of interest
by lawyers in government is outrageous. How can we expect an efficient and effective
government when it is controlled by legislators trained in controversy and not
trained in productivity and management? Now, with the tobacco windfall they will
buy all the politicians that are not lawyers.
What can we do? We must recognize that: First
-- Laws are made by state and federal legislatures. Second
-- Lawyers often make up one-quarter or more of these legislatures, yet comprise
less that 0.4% of our population. Third
-- these “lawyer-legislators” manipulate and control the legislature
and they, in truth, make the laws. Fourth
-- It is impossible for them to make any law unfavorable to their interest.
Fifth -- By the laws they
make, they increase controversy and decrease productivity.
While we all have friends or family who are lawyers and whom we like as people,
that does not mean they should run our government and our lives. We can change
this chaos by not voting for lawyers and by voting for other worthy candidates.
One-half can be removed from legislatures, both local and national, every two
years. This
simple democratic, and nonviolent effort, will assure the return of our government
back to our people in short order. It will also send a strong message to the remaining
lawyers that “WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH.” ABSOLUTE
POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY DO NOT VOTE FOR LAWYERS

Answer: An attorney who claimed to represent
all the people against Moses-- Named Korah.
What did God do with the
attorney Korah?
Answer: Tossed him into hell-- Hmmmmmmm!! Is that not
food for thought? You
are a demented fool if you think America is safe in the hands of lawyers
and attorneys.
America would be best served if the majority of our governing
people were farmers and ranchers.
Why?
Answer: They didn't get to be
what they are by laying around all day waiting for an accident to happen so they
could chase the ambulance. My
experience with this Journal proves me correct.
I have been threatened
a number of times by law suits from, guess who?-- Evangelists.
It will be
a long time between Sundays when a rancher sues me. I
also note that Bill Clinton and his wife and his attorneys had a battle with Democrat
attorneys at lunch and Republican lawyers over what? Not the sin of Clinton
of turning the Oval Office into a Whore House-- Rather; the whole thing is a legal
battle to see who could shove the other one out of the way. Lawyers use
perjury to convict-- God uses the Seventh Commandment-- "Thou shalt not commit
adultery."
Why did the attorneys not go for an adultery charge?
Answer:
Lawyers are adulterers. Name
our recent Presidents who were NOT lawyers: Harry Truman, Eisenhowr, Reagan,
and Jimmy Carter. Notice anything? No nasty tales of women. Not
famous for dirty tricks. Knew about hard work. Didn't get sued by
the House and Senate. Ended their lives honorably, well Jimmy is still at
it. Left, right, or center, the good men are NOT lawyers.
But you cry "foul," right?
There was that country attorney Abe Lincoln! I have news for you--
Lincoln entered the Civil war to (1)"protect out military installations in the
South." And that, friends, is a lawyer speaking. Later, he gave that famous
address about (2)freeing slaves. Then he (3)enslaved the South to the North.
There is indeed a "good lawyer." Three agendas-- Which one was the
real one?
