I was a kid growing up in L.A. my Dad had a friend named Bruno Heibert. He worked
for the Transportation Department of LA, and his job was to plan and install stop
lights and signals. My Dad asked him how they determined when to put up stop lights
on an intersection. His answer was that there had to be a certain number of traffic
accidents which resulted in deaths before lights were installed. That is how the
nations of the world, including the USA will deal with Bird flu. There will be
much talk and token preparations, but there will be NO real response to the crisis

Ministry of Health in Indonesia has confirmed the country's 50th case of human
infection with the H5N1 avian influenza virus. The
case, which was fatal, occurred in a 7-year-old girl from Tangerang district,
Banten Province. She developed symptoms on 26 May, was hospitalized on 30 May,
and died on 1 June. Her 10-year-old brother died of respiratory disease on 29
May, but no specimens were taken for testing and the cause of his death cannot
be determined. An
investigation found a history of chicken deaths in the household and neighbourhood
prior to symptom onset. Laboratory testing of surviving family members and close
contacts has been conducted and no further cases were found. More:

Indonesian experts are saying that, that in the above instance, there was a, "common
genetic predisposition to infection with H5N1 virus with severe and fatal outcomes."
There seems to be a genetic aspect in which the virus like some marker in a particular
genetic combination. It is also clear that in Developing Countries (which is highly
suspect language), the funds are either not there, or are going into deep pockets,
and if Western nations want to stop it "over there," they will have
to forgo funding the faggot arts and other puerile rubbish projects in their own
budgets.

must have a plan in place to bring all public life to a total halt by martial
law. For the duration of possibly 15 weeks at the outside, people would ride out
the storm. This is how it ALWAYS is with the flu. It comes, and it goes. The window
of danger could be as little as six weeks. Sometimes
a variety of fly will come through an area in a second wave, and then it is gone
forever. Why would this be any different? So, if our government insists on playing
games with the men in the labs in white smocks, you and I will have to prepare

is any danger, and then he fails to hit the street and take charge. We are on

director of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences’ Influenza Institute, Oleg
Kiselyov, said that a global epidemic of bird flu will occur in two years, Interfax
reported Wednesday. “A
pandemic will occur, and it will occur in two years,” Kiselyov told journalists
at a science workshop conference in the Russian Agricultural Sciences Academy.
“I can
say that H5N1 will probably not be dangerous to humans on a global scale,” Kiselyov
said.

are now having the year end school break of 2 months. Students were given declaration
forms to be handed in when they return to school in January. They are to declare
where they had been to during the school holidays. If there are symptoms of flu
from affected countries they had been to, they very likely would be quarantined.
This is a serious problem, and hospitals here are planning to deal with flu cases
sending non elective surgeries and other cases to general practitioners and private
hospitals to treat them in case of a pandemic that might occur here. The newspaper
here reported that 1900 might die from bird flu should it strike us here with

WHAT
IS BIRD FLU? Bird
flu, or avian influenza, is a viral disease that causes illness in many species
of birds. It has been around for more than 100 years. There are 15 types of bird
flu. Is
it the same as H5N1?
H5N1
is the strain of bird flu that is currently causing worldwide concern.
It
has proved lethal to poultry and has infected some people. Why
should we be worried about this strain?
H5N1
bird flu has shown an ability to jump from birds into several other species.
Human
cases reported so far were infected with the disease after coming into
contact
with chickens and ducks. We have no immunity to animal viruses. How
is bird flu spread?
Many
millions of migratory birds and wildfowl carry the disease, and some species
of
duck are able to carry the virus without showing symptoms. Illegal bird smuggling
and the movement of domestic birds has also helped to spread the disease between
countries. Birds pass on the virus through their droppings, feathers, saliva
and breath.
If an infected duck or other water bird uses the same pond or
stretch of water as
other birds, the infection can be passed on through faeces
or feathers shed in the water.
How
do people catch bird flu?
Most
of the human cases caught the virus when they were preparing chickens for
slaughter,
but some contracted it by handling infected birds.
The virus’s greatest
asset is that it is airborne. Once the virus has invaded the cells lining
your lungs,
throat and nose, it sheds tiny particles which can be expelled
at great speed in
mucus when you sneeze, or in droplets of moisture from a
cough or splutter. When
will bird flu become a human disease capable of spreading
from one person
to another?
Most
experts think that this will happen at some point in the next two years. It is
in the
nature of the flu virus to mutate regularly. This is how some previous
flu pandemics
have begun. All that is needed is for someone with human flu
to catch H5N1 bird flu
from an infected bird and the virus could mutate in
such a way that it combines the
human flu’s ability to spread with H5N1’s
severe symptoms. Alternatively, the bird flu
virus could gradually adapt and
jump the species barrier by itself. Are
there other examples of diseases that have jumped
from animals to humans?
Past
flu viruses have made the leap from animal to human, in particular the Spanish
flu that killed tens of millions in 1918-19. It is now accepted that HIV originally
spread
from animals to humans. Studies suggest that Sars may have spread from
bats, and
UK outbreaks of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in the 1990s were linked
to the incidence
of bovine spongiform encephalopathy in cattle. Is
it just birds, or do other animals carry this disease?
Several
species other than birds have been found to carry the bird flu virus. Pigs in
Indonesia have caught H5N1, which is worrying as they can also carry the human
flu
virus and could act as “mixing vessels” for the two viruses,
allowing them to form a
new version of flu that could spread easily between
people. Tigers and cats have also
been infected, and cats are known to be
able to infect other cats. What
makes the bird flu virus mutate?
All
flu viruses, even “normal” human flu, mutate regularly — the virus
mutates each
time it replicates. Flu viruses are unstable and make imperfect
copies of themselves,
allowing different genetic variations to crop up quickly.
When
the H5N1 virus mutates, will it be deadly?
We
don’t yet know. Often when a flu virus mutates, there is a trade-off: it
may change
to become more transmissible within a species but at the same time
become less
virulent. We have no immunity to any H5 strain of flu. WORLD

This disease is not a trivial matter. It is 50% fatal in those who get it. But,
there is a lot of near panic among conspiracy junkies about it. In the USA our
poultry are raised indoors, and egg hatcheries are indoor outfits. In Asia poultry
runs and ranges and is even herded around in the open. This means mixing up flocks
and exposure to wild infected birds. Also, US wild birds do not commonly mix with
domestic birds in commercial operations. Furthermore; most poultry farmers use
automation and isolating equipment which assure the farmer and employees make
minimal physical contact with the birds. To
panic over bird flu is nuts. If bird flu comes to the USA the most tragic thing
will be the cost of poultry and eggs. Our national health and agriculture people
are also more efficient and better equipped than Asian governments. Can
bird fly come to the USA? Of course. Bird flu is not in Africa, and African governments
will do nothing to stop it. They don't have the resources to stop it. This is
mainly because chickens in Africa are almost exclusively free ranging and are
within the village confines all of the time. They are also interacting with wild
birds which are in the bush and trees around the villages. The vast majority of
Africans, unlike the USA and Europe, are NOT in cities. They are rural. Bird flu
in Africa will simply run rampant. Now,
anyone who has traveled through Texas has seen the thousands of egrets there in
the east of Texas all the way to Dallas. These egrets came from Africa in recent
times. Also, we have fools who bring all sorts of tropical birds into the USA,
legally and illegally, to sell to people who have no fear of tropical disease.
Bird fly will come to the USA. BUT.... WHEN
WILL BIRD FLU CAUSE PANIC? Answer:
When bird flu mutates to be passed from people to people, it will be time to panic.
It will be IMPORTANT to panic, or shall we say, to do a slow organized panic.
This bird
flu now passes only from bird to bird, and from birds to people who handle or
live with the birds. When people can give it to people, we are in deep trouble.
Why? Answer: Bird flu kills 50% of all those who get sick with it. The
worldwide flu epidemic of 1918 killed 500,000 Americans. Our population is much
larger today, and we are in many ways much more vulnerable to an epidemic. The
flu of 1918 did not come close to killing 50% of those who got it. So, what are
the issues today which will make such and epidemic tragic and deadly? 1.
We are far more mobile than we were in 1918. People did not work far from home,
and they did not shop or go to church far from home. It is a rule of all epidemiological
control to convince people to reduce their choices of shopping and reduce their
visits and attendance at all possible social activity. 2.
Americans live in cities today. In 1918 the vast majority of Americans lived on
the farm and in rural settings, or towns of 200 to 1000 people. Americans today
not only live in cities of 100,000 to 12,000,000, these city people are virtually
helpless when the lights go out or the water stops. Even the lack of garbage collection
in New York City caused critical situations some years back. 3.
Americans do not eat at home. Millions of Americans would not think of carrying
a lunch to work. That is not classy and sophisticated, and you cannot put a sack
lunch on an expense account. Take a colleague with you to lunch, and you also
have a tax deduction. Eat with the colleague out back of the store, and the IRS
will laugh if you call that a "power lunch" worthy of a tax deduction.
Also, American wives are liberated and don't want to cook anymore. The meet their
husband briefly in the bath room as the primp us, and they rush off to IHOP or
Shoney's. This is deadly in an epidemic, and millions of yuppie fools will kill
themselves rather than change their liberated life style. 4.
Americans do not keep a food supply for more than a few days. You may have plenty
of food in the pantry, but I know for a fact that there are millions of people
who buy food one or two days at a time. In fact, they get a rush out of the social
experience of going daily to stores where they are known and where they meet friends
and chat and drink coffee. Their cupboards are bare. They have little or no dry
food like beans and pasts. They eat out and cook little. During an epidemic, even
of generic flu, I do all the shopping for our family, I shop in only one super
WalMart, and I shop at about 1:00 AM so that the store is empty, or nearly empty. 5.
Many Americans work in the whole world. They fly to various places in the world
to do business, and if they don't they have associations with colleagues who fly
from their nation to America on business. Also, people are daily flying from other
nations to visit friends in the USA and to stay in the USA. Also, many Americans
stay in motels and make no effort to sanitize the room. We take our own bedding,
and we empty a whole can of Lysol, the big one, on all surfaces, the bathroom,
and do our shoe soles every time we exit and enter the room. 6.
The USA has no serious resolve to shut its southern border. Because Liberals fools
cry out for illegals to be allowed to enter America at will, and because thousands
of ranchers in the southwest of the USA hire the illegals, the Federal Government
looks the other way. I lived on the Mexican border. I saw the disinterest by the
Feds in controlling the illegal ocean of people walking into America daily. This
will bring thousands of infected Mexicans into the US who are desperate to find
better medical help for their sick loved ones. They do it now. Imagine what will
happen when an epidemic is in full swing and the Mexican hospitals are maxed out. 7.
America has the attitude that you may not quarantine people. It is considered
cruel. AIDS could have been greatly controlled if people had to face the possibility
of being quarantined for visiting sodomite tea rooms and brothels. There is no
fear of the consequences of folly today because sick people have more rights than
well people. 8.
Hospitals all over the USA, especially in California, are desperate to get nurses.
In an epidemic, our medical system would collapse in short order, probably in
a few weeks. The Federal Government, and local and state government, showed how
utterly inept it is at moving its emergency resources into action when the hurricane
Katrina hit New Orleans. In an epidemic, the first reaction in Washington DC would
be to deny it. When Caesar makes the edict that there is an epidemic, there are
millions of silly people who panic because they view themselves as wards of the
state. Welfare people will be the first to panic, for they have weak minds and
no resources to survive. Then, school officials will panic because they will see
that the kids will soon have to go home to keep them from dying of the flu, and
the schools will close. These school officials will lie and make all manner of
assurances to slow minded parents who want their kids in school so they do not
have to parent and feed them. This picture was nonexistent in 1918. 9.
This one simply adds to 8. In 1918 all education in America, with rare exceptions,
took place in two room school houses. With the modern unified school systems today,
and with school bussing, the epidemic will sweep through these schools with 300
to 5000 students in them. It will only take a few days. 10.
Police and sheriff departments from NYC to the deserts of Arizona are stretched
to the point of emergency by lack of funds to man the forces. Where two men used
to ride in one police car, one man rides alone in many states. Where cops walked
beats in the cities in 1918, there are NO police on the street today. Controlling
the sick, and those who become lawless due to unemployment and lack of food, will
be impossible today. The US Military will have to be brought in, and marital law
declared. This is highly traumatic, and while the Feds and local officials fight
over what to do, the epidemic will run rampant and crime will escalate. 11.
This is a Christian journal, and you may well know that I have become quite cynical
with even the most Fundamental Baptists in their concern for the sheep of Jesus
Christ. Pastors do NOT care about their people between Sundays. The vast majority
do not visit them and look into their needs in the home. Preachers in the USA
want the members of their local churches to "be there every time the doors
are open" at the church house. I know for a fact that preachers and their
Sunday School teachers, and all members in attendance will come to church staggering
sick. The attitude is that "we will all get it eventually, so let's be faithful
to be there." This is driven by only ONE thing-- the preacher's lust to pass
the offering plate and gather the cash to feed his belly. In 1918, as we read
in Little House on the Prairie, and many other old time books, people did
NOT go to church during epidemics-- period. It was considered deadly, just as
going to square dances and town hall meetings. Any preacher who demands attendance
during an epidemic should be horse whipped or shot. 12.
You read this one first here! I have never heard one word about this. We now have
hundreds of thousands of troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as clandestine
forces in Pakistan. We also have reports that bird flu is in Kuwait. It is expected
to move via wild bird migration right into Europe and the whole Middle East. If
it mutates into humans, our troops in the Middle East will die like flies, and
many will return home and spread it around the USA in a flash. 13.
This would make a fantastic weapon for terrorists. They could either destroy our
poultry industry, or if the virus mutates, they could spread it to the USA to
infect Americans. It could be used against our troops in the Middle East and elsewhere. WHAT

The
point at which you should go into high gear and stock up on chicken, eggs, medications,
water, guns, and other resources you left for the last minute is when you hear
the first report, anywhere on earth, when a person got bird flu from another person.
Make sure it is well confirmed. In fact, it will be too late to do anything to
get ready about one week after you hear that report. This
sounds silly, but it is almost always missed by health people-- spray the public
phone with Lysol or alcohol before using it. Try to never use a public phone. Another
suggestion I don't expect to hear from the experts-- stop feeding wild birds as
soon as you hear of bird flu in the USA or your country. You
may be tempted to think that the crash of the IRS would be a great blessing. The
IRS is a sort of enemy, they support millions of Federal employees who are blathering
idiots who know nothing but to sit at a desk and wait to retire.
