What
is alkaline or acid about our bodies? Take a look around you. How many overweight people do you see? How many yo-yo dieters do you know? This is a problem of the alkaline acid balance - too much acidity! You see the reality is that being in an acidic state makes and keeps us fat! It's that simple. When your body is in a state of acidity, it goes into protection mode - that being, the creation of fat cells, cells that serve to protect your vital organs and keep you alive. To compound this, too many overweight people also have problems with their digestive systems because of the fungal and yeast overgrowths that thrive on their acidic environments. |
Consider the following 7 links to the alkaline/acid imbalance:
Fat people are hungry people! That's because their bodies are unable to process foods taken in, and so the message being sent to the brain is one of hunger, a begging for another sugar hit which will further feed the yeast problem! It's a no-win situation.
One of the major effects of being acidic is the energy drain that goes with it. This happens because acidity promotes the leeching of minerals (especially calcium - a recipe for osteoporosis by the way!) from our bones, muscles, and tissues. You see the body works in overdrive when it's acidic, and desperately tries to protect the delicate pH balance of the blood. This leaves us drained and lacking in energy.
You don't have to look too far to see that many of us care a lot about the aging process. It's big business. Commercials abound with advertisements for the latest creams for eradicating wrinkles, or the best laser technology to at least minimize them.
But hey, wouldn't it be better to allow nature to do the job it was intended to do and prevent them in the first place? It makes much better sense to maintain the inner terrain of our bodies. That way we can be assured that the outer will take care of itself!
Acidosis is the culprit in free-radical damage! The results of free-radical damage are just as you guessed - wrinkles and age spots!
An acidic environment puts inordinate stress on the immune system and causes it to be overly sensitive to both foods and chemicals, resulting in things like skin problems and mucus issues. Avoiding items like meat, dairy products, pastas and white flour, as well as alcohol and chocolate will help towards making the body more alkaline. Hard to swallow.
Being acidic makes the process of metabolizing fatty acids well nigh impossible, and yet this is necessary for the smooth functioning of the brain and nervous system. When we inhibit this metabolic process we essentially open the floodgates for degenerative diseases such as MS, Parkinson's disease, mental health issues, and brain development in children.
Being in an acidic states enables the LDL-cholesterol to accelerate, which in turn leads to cardio-vascular problems and an increase in blood pressure. This is something we all should avoid, and maintaining an optimal pH balance is our assurance against this!
Simply put, cancer has difficulty thriving in an alkaline environment. If our cells are alkalized and have an adequate amount of hydrogen, cancer has a hard time invading them. There is nothing to light the candle! In fact, hydrogenized cancer cells can begin to heal themselves!
You see, all too many of the degenerative diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and stroke are a direct result of acidosis! These are preventable diseases. What better reason for going green?
So how do we go about doing this?
Eat
alkaline-rich foods that will:
Following a highly-alkaline diet (lots of raw vegetables, preferably organic, fresh fruits, with some nuts and seeds) will cleanse your inner terrain of the yeast and fungal overgrowth. It will also promote significant weight loss, all without hunger pangs!
Eating well is one thing, but it must also be supported by the correct fluid intake, that being, alkaline water. This will promote the body's ability to rid itself of acid waste, promote healing, and give the body license to get rid of those fatty cells that are bent on keeping us fat. Get your alkaline acid balance fixed!
