Graham Hancock and Rupert Sheldrake.
These men and others are questioning
the deification of Materialistic Science
and Atheism. The "laws" of science are a
steel box from which we must escape to
find revelation. So, free thinkers are fabricating a hybrid of spirituality and science.
Will this be the spiritual base for the Antichrist?

We know all we will ever know. The world and universe and man are mechanical systems which evolved on their own, and adding anything from outside this presupposition is heresy.

If you wish to dig deeper into Rupert Sheldrake's complaint against modern science, you need to order his book online, SCIENCE SET FREE. In this book he shows how modern science has imprisoned itself as a defense against Christian truth and religious faith. The result is that science can no longer do original inquiry because such a departure from the grand presuppositions of science is considered to be blasphemy. This is exactly why TED Talks is trying to hide Sheldrake. Sheldrake's book deals with ten areas of discovery which need to be liberated. They are.....

You can see simply from these chapter titles of Sheldrake's book that he has turned his face toward the possibility of someone else being out there outside the cold definitions of science as we know it. He has never seriously looked at the possibility that God is real, and that he has sent his Son to rescue humanity. But, Sheldrake would allow that there has to be a reasonable option that there is a god of some sort. He also accepts the Bible accounts of epic events in ancient times.

If you have a way to download these videos, do so if you want to have them available. I fully expect TED to finally delete them completely. I had a hard time to bring them up. The discussion of the alteration of the speed of light and gravity is very fascinating to me personally.

I spoke to a Ph.D. working is issues of cosmology about the possibility of the speed of light decreasing as a result of the effects of entropy, and his take was that light has physical properties, so it must be subject to entropy. Once this possibility takes hold, anything can happen with light. This is just one example of how Atheistic evolutionists make great fools of themselves by claiming that any law they invented is absolute and never subject to change. Even bringing us a question is boldly called blasphemy, and men like Richard Dawkins will go into vicious and clever fits of mockery. While Sheldrake failed to find his way to biblical science, he at least belled the cat of evolutionary science.

Dawkins is a true Atheist who does not believe there is either right nor wrong. He can lie, and it is just fine. He can make false claims, and if he gets away with it, that is OK. This grave defect in Atheism is one reason men like Sheldrake have walked away from rabid science.

GRAHAM HANCOCK

This man is playing around with the spirits. He refuses to clearly define them because he still has one foot in scientific inquiry. But, you will see that he has intentionally gone to a consciousness outside the normal flow of scientific presuppositions or laws.

The psychotropic chemicals from nature, which he has used to journey into the spirit world, were created by God in Genesis 1-3. What did God intend for us to do with them? Perhaps they could be refined, the side effects removed, and the pure chemical used for healing mental illness or some other legitimate purpose. In no way do I suggest that Bible believers in Jesus Christ use these plant drugs to find new revelations. Our source is only one, and it is free of side effects and devils.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The Bible believer sees in Jesus Christ, that is, in his mind, the only safe and enlightening escape from mechanical answers to life and the cosmos. The answer in Christ is demanding though. It requires us to be humble, serve, and die in a way that encourages other humans to want to confess faith in Jesus Christ.

But, you will see that Graham Hancock is indeed dumping the cold hard facts of modern science, and as with Sheldrake, I want you to see that there are bright men out there whom you can talk to about "the other side." When you find one, you need some ammunition to use in calling them from their pursuit of devils to coming to Christ.

This will fill in much that is missing in Hancock's TED talk.

Lecture and Question / Answer Session by Graham about the Ark of the Covenant
Graham clearly believes the Ark was an object of great power, but he seems to be unable to credit God with that power. He concludes that when and if the Ark is returned to Jerusalem, a world war will break out. This is because Muslims, Jews, and Christians place great significance in the Ark being in their possession. I speak of old world Orthodox Christians.

A much more spiritual presentation. This could well be the context of the Antichrist. Do good, make the world a peaceful place, and bow to the spirit outside of modern science. I believe this man is delving into the heresies which violate the revelation of God. These heresies then explain the work of Satan. He is a counterfeiter of all which God reveals to man. "Yea, hath God said..... ye shall be gods." To assume that men like Hancock cannot enter into some degree of the mysteries from the other side is simply wrong. The people at the Tower of Babel, were getting along so well in their quest for godhood that God said they could accomplish things in the name of evil or other gods.

Genesis 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

Like Hancock and Sheldrake, you and I, as Bible believers, live in the past and in the future if we truly believe the Word of God is the revelation of God to us. We look all the way back to the Garden of Eden and the origin of man. We also look far into the future at the day we arrive at the throne of God himself and his creation of the New Heaven and the New Earth. We too tend to put the present into the perspective of the whole of God's plan of the ages. We too want to apply ourselves to making this world, at least our corner of it, a place where the presence of God is experienced by other people.

The issue is, these men are grabbing the whole of God's revelation PLUS the whole of Satan's spirituality counterfeits.

So, your job, should you choose to accept it, and which God ordered you to accept, is to pull down the stronghold of Satan while guarding zealously the truth.

Why worry about this?

I am 100% convinced that Antichrist will be using the spiritual notions of such men above in his religious coup against Jesus Christ in the earth. This is why God removes the Church and the Holy Spirit form the earth during the Great Tribulation. God does not want the Truth to be mixed up with Antichrist's blasphemies. God wants man to get a full measure of the spirit world without Christ.

You and I live on the edge of an epic of human history..... The Great Tribulation. You may know people who will not be removed from the earth before that day. They will be, more and more, dipping their little cup of joy into the spiritual fountain of Satan and devils. We see it all around us actually. I go into Sears at a local mall, and virtually all the men's and women's clothing is black on black. This fits well with the metaphysical rubbish from Hollywood and from modern music.

Science will one day soon become a toothless nag and nanny which the masses will come to ignore. As they see "miracles" and "signs and wonders" on the street, in church (the dead kind), in UFOs, Nephilim, and as they themselves experience Satanic powers, they will see science as inadequate to explain this expanding demonic consciousness.

Just before we are removed by Christ from the scene, we will have many opportunities to expose the Satanic and show people the person of Jesus Christ. This is war. It will be ugly at times, and men like Hancock and Sheldrake will become our enemies just as much as Richard Dawkins is. We will be standing against scientific Atheism on one hand, and against the heresy of Satanic spiritual history on earth on the other hand.

I can promise you this..... If you take the following assignment from our Lord, life will not be boring:

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

It is not enough anymore to be able to stand against the blasphemies of Atheistic evolution. That theory appears to be slipping into the background as Satan enters our world more boldly. Satan is a spiritual being and wants to have counterfeit worship of himself, so he cannot tolerate Atheism. The strategic conclusion is that the war front is changing. There are prophets who declare that there is a world of spirits, but they refuse to go all the way back to Genesis Chapter One through Three and give all the glory to God. King David gives us the final verdict.....

Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Will you go forth looking for trouble, that is, the trouble that enslaves men to the mind of Satan and his devils? To crave new versions of the Truth is wicked. Stay with the faith, once delivered, and be content. God has not insisted that you become a great intellectual giant with a head full of big ideas.

Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

The farmer needs a drink. He has a spring of clear pure sweet water on his land, and he has a pond full of green stinking water where the animals drink and the hogs roll. So, what would you think about this farmer if he took his drinking cup to the pond, carefully skimmed the slime off of the top, and dipped in his cup for water?

You might ask him why he did not go to the spring to drink. And he would say, "This water is 90% water. There is only ten percent slime and hog manure. This water will satisfy my thirst and nourish my body. If I want it cleaner, I can filter it and remove the corruption. So, I drink this water because it takes away my thirst."

What a fool, right? But, how about you? Are you taking your cup down to the hog pond of Satan? Are you sipping up the polluted water served up by great intellectual minds who have no fear of God, when you could be going right to the spring of pure water of the Word of God?

I will be extremely angry with you if you allow any of the notions of Sheldrake and Hancock to modify your world view as God gave it to you. The world view of the Bible believer is the Word of God. Anything added is of Satan or of human invention. While there are questions before us regularly for which the Bible has no direct statement, we dare not accept any alleged answer to such questions if the answer violates the Word of God in any way.

On the other hand, I do commend Sheldrake and Hancock for their rather brave venture into reality as they see it. I would also suggest that you and I must not cling to dogmas that we inherited from our parents, pastors, or Christian writers as final authority simply out of a timid fear of being accused of blasphemy. To inquire into new facts and evidences is noble. But, when we find that our new discoveries are based on human traditions rather than God's revealed Truth, do we at once drop our new toys and declare them to be poisonous? The greatest thinkers and discoverers of the past were almost always declared heretics and dreamers at first. We must not let skeptics prevent us from digging into new discoveries, but when the result is to blaspheme the Word of God, we must actually become a skeptic and flee the polluted pond.

I did this article to inform the wise about what is coming. These modern free thinkers are sure they have to get more and more mystical information, and they spend much time tinkering within the world of possibilities. When they can prove their theories with real science, we must take them seriously. But, when they venture into mystic inventions, we must reject their machinations.

There are answers to hard questions. There are questions for which we may never find an answer. The caution is that we not go off into mysteries and leave the Final Authority, the Word of God.

Proverbs 30:1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,
2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

God will use his Word to answer all our questions. When we come up with a question that seems to have no answer, the answer from God is, Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD." God has not told us everything our minds crave to know. If God answered all of our question, we would have no surprises when we get to Heaven. Some questions may simply need no answer. You and I are to keep ourselves plain and humble in our own eyes. And, we are to saturate our minds with "every word of God." If we add anything to God's Word, we are liars. Answering questions God has not answered is arrogant pomposity. God does not need us to explain what he has kept back as his secret.

Theology is a system, generated by big brains, by which men sucker in other men to follow philosophical religion instead of the plain sense of the Word of God. You may quote me on that. That is as close to theology as I will get. Dr. Charles Feinberg said it this way, "If the plain sense (of the Bible) makes good sense, don't look for any other sense."

What shall we do with these intellectual good old boys who get 75% of the way to Truth and then hedge and claim they cannot find God after all? Remember, every flaming Atheist out there was made in the image of God. He is worth saving. Also, history tells us that many of these Atheists grew up attending Sunday School or the Synagogue Shule. Pastors, are you really giving your full attention to teaching the plain truth to the kids in your Sunday School? Do you treat them like priceless lambs who are being sought by the Great Shepherd? When Jesus asks you why you lost so many, what will you answer?

I hear some self-righteous preacher saying, "I don't waste my time on these heretics." Well, Jesus died for them just as certainly as he died for you. Here is the Apostle Paul answering your arrogant slog hog religion.

Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Something more needs to be said here. I have recently read a book by Stephen Meyer titled The Return of the God Hypothesis. In this book Meyer claims that the evidence found in biology and cosmology indicate that the existence of God is the best hypothesis for the origin of all things we observe.

Meyer openly admits that he is not willing to outright claim that there IS a God. He is only willing to claim that the existence of God, in regard to creation anyway, is the best hypothesis. What is wrong with this logic?

Definition: Hypothesis

Hypothesis is a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.

The whole point of hypotheses is that those who make them never need to start a sentence with "I believe....." They can take refuge in the sandbox of eternal uncertainty as long as they never move from hypothesis to certainty and propositional truth.

 

Abduction

Abductive reasoning, or abduction, is making a probable conclusion from what you know. If you see an abandoned bowl of hot soup on the table, you can use abduction to conclude the owner of the soup is likely returning soon. But, you have left open the possibility that other hypotheses indicate he may not return because he died in the restroom, or he may have been kidnapped. Unlikely as the last two hypotheses are, you must leave the whole issue open to further investigation. But, everyone agrees that your first hypothesis is the best one.

I found evidence before me.

I found more evidence.

I consider all the possibilities that would explain the evidence.

I choose the most likely possibility.

Why is this line of reasoning preferred by the scientist?

By being content with the most likely hypothesis, instead of seeking an absolute conclusion, the scientist is delivered from the uncomfortable need to exercise faith in anyone. This is why the Bible believer cannot be overly awed by the reasoning of Meyer, Berlinsky, and Jastrow. It is interesting to see them go looking for God, but only a fool would imagine that they have found him.

So, why is deductive reasoning not a biblical model?

Answer: The Bible believer, if he truly BELIEVES the Bible, does not have the option to reduce God to a hypothesis. Consider.....

The Reversed Vision

Hebrews 11:6 But without a hypothesis it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he might be, and that he might be a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The Word of God

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God MUST believe that he IS, and that he IS a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God allows no hypothesis. He is the eternal God, and he insists that you MUST believe that. And, this is the God of Genesis 1:1. Thus, you do not have the option to go play in the abductive reasoning sandbox. Indeed, if you show a craving for reasoning God into existence, by any form of logic, you are not a born again Christian. That includes your favorite Ph.D.

 

Deduction

Deductive reasoning is a type of reasoning used in science and in life. It is when you take two true statements, or premises, to form a conclusion. I find this fact, and I find another fact, therefore I conclude a proven truth.

I see order in creation that science cannot explain.
I see that the world only shows order when God is included in the matrix.
I have a feeling that God has spoken to me personally.
Therefore, God exists.

This is the reasoning made famous in the detective stories written by Sir Arthur Canon Doyle and his Sherlock Holmes.

Modern Atheists do not like deductive reasoning because it ends in certainty. They prefer abductive reasoning which leaves the end result in uncertainty. That is, the final hypothesis is still open to be proved wrong. Of course, when the intelligent design starts looking a lot better than materialistic naturalism, they denounce the person making the new hypothesis as a heretic. This is the method of Richard Dawkins. He prefers abductive reasoning, but only if the final hypothesis leaves God out of the reasoning and Richard on the throne.

So, why is deductive reasoning not a biblical model?

Answer: The final deduction is dependent on YOU. What you see, what you come to know, and what YOU finally believe, tells you there is a God, or possibly that he created the world. Faith is not based on what you see. Faith is based on what God defines as Truth and who he is.

What would be true if you did not exist? Read on, and learn the answer.

 

Faith

God gave me a letter telling me that he created the universe and telling me to enjoy it.

Therefore, I believe that there is a God as certainly as there is a universe.
If there were no universe, God would still exist.
I see God's "sign" all over nature and the universe.
Therefore, I see my faith confirmed and given more proof.
Any "evidence" to the contrary is either false science or the result of my poor reasoning skills.

I use the word "sign" as the big game hunter uses it to track tigers. "Signs" are the indications that an animal has passed this way and what sort of animal it is. God has left his "signs," like footprints, throughout the whole earth and universe, and they are a blessing. But, I am already convinced there is a God moving along up ahead of me, just as the hunter is convinced that there is a tiger making all the "signs."

Why is faith not satisfying to the open minded scientist?

Answer: Very bluntly, the scientist is not willing to live by faith. Faith leaves no room for speculation, and scientists, and 95% of all academics, thrive on speculation. Faith closes the doors of most halls of learning. In order to believe God's letter in Genesis and the rest of the Bible, the believer uses faith as his first step of reasoning. The Bible believer does not depend ultimately on his own perceptions but on the revelation from God.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

When you go out to eat at your favorite steak house, you go under the conviction that you will be satisfied and fulfilled (the pun is free). But, when you get there, you find that they have added an item to the menu, Diablo Shrimp.,,,, Shrimp wrapped in a piece of bacon, coated with hot sauce, and brazed. You order it, and it is fantastic. The shrimp item did not help you to believe the restaurant was great. You already had decided to believe that. The shrimp item only added a bit of delight to your ongoing belief.

When God adds some "evidence" to your biblical worldview, thank him, praise him, and file it under, "I told you so."

Faith is only reasonable to those who have it, and to God who asked us to have faith. To anyone without faith, this line of reasoning is irrational and no better than believing in Santa Claus. To the believer, faith becomes the proof, and no other proof is needed. Any new evidence to support truth can be enjoyed, but the new evidence is not part of the proof. The proof, or everything that calls for proof, is vested in the eternal God, his eternal existence, and his eternal will.

This is also why the naturalistic scientist is not charmed when some pandering theologian, like Bernard Ramm, tries to reconcile creation to evolution. The evolutionist dares not to admit that any notions about God can factor into the apologetic. He has eliminated God completely, and the scientist sees theistic evolution as blasphemy. Only a fool will try to reconcile Genesis 1 to any other system of reasoning.

 

The Bible believer needs no hypothesis. He lives by absolutes. He cannot imagine any other explanation for reality than the one given in Genesis 1 and the other 65 books of the Bible. He believes the letter from God and takes it at face value as the Truth. All the footprints of God which are found later, like the arguments that probabilities and quantum mathematics make evolution virtually impossible, are simply little gems of delight added to what the believer had already chosen to believe up front.

Also, anyone who comes up with opposing evidence to Genesis 1 is quickly dropped into the category of fantasy as a false witness.

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

Thus, again, as I told you above, you have NO business using Meyer, Berlinsky, and other scientists as your basis for faith in the Word of God or the work of Jesus Christ as the creator (John 1). If you rest in their conclusions, no matter how friendly they seem, you ONLY have a hypothesis, you do NOT have absolute Truth.

Note the order, both doctrinally AND logically:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

The footprints of God in Romans 1 FOLLOW the faith I have in Genesis 1 UP FRONT. God does not want your faith to be in the signs of his presence..... He wants you to BELIEVE HE IS YOUR GOD.

This is why it is so wicked to see Charismatic "Christians" demanding that God do signs and wonders to sustain their faith in him. We must assume they may have no faith and are just here for the show, like going to see a magician perform. If you are a Charismatic person who demands signs from God, you may not even be born again. ONLY if you are willing to live without signs and wonders are you really living by faith. The same applies to any Christian. When we demand that God do a special miracle to give us faith, we simply are not living by faith in the first place.

I also suggest you avoid debate and apologetics discussions. When we give in to those who drew us into debate and apologetics, we are de facto allowing the possibility that there is another hypothesis, and we hope ours will prevail. In debate, I also imply that God is in trouble as to credibility, and he needs my help to be God.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

If you allow your soul to be lifted up in debate, as if God needs you to defend him, you are not living by faith.

My Dad attended a Bible study and prayer fellowship mentored by Pastor Martin Lloyd Jones in the UK when my parents were in Christian ministry there. Dad said that Pastor Jones made the above statement to the men in the Bible study, and he then gave a bit more..... the consequences of debate. Jones said that he would not risk the Truth on his own debating skills. Every debate has a winner and a loser. Jones said that if the other debater was more skillful at debate than he, God would appear to have lost the debate because of him. Jones refused to risk the glory of the Truth on his debating skills. Jones said this in spite of the fact that he was, at the time, one of the most famous intellectuals in the UK.

DR. DAVID BERKINSKI TRASHES ATHEISTIC EVOLUTION
While it may be refreshing to hear and Agnostic destroy evolution and Atheism, it is pathetic to learn that this brilliant man, who is also a Jew, cannot find his way to God and the book of Genesis. This is another example of a man who has gone to the slimy pond for a drink when he could go to the pure water of the spring of Truth, the Bible.

This short version shows the total absurdity of evolution and Atheism. Again, it is depressing to see Berlinsky come so close to Truth but then say that he cannot believe in God.
