I hear this idiotic arrogant heresy, "We have to be willing to go through the Tribulation-- Why should we not suffer persecution like those saints of long ago?" The Great Tribulation is Jacob's Trouble to get Jews ready to enter the Kingdom, and it is the wrath of God against the wicked. There is NO Bible text that you can find to prove that the Lord's Church needs a Purgatory experience. That you will get in the Vatican from Cardinal Ratzinger.

If you really want to have your throat slit for Jesus, go to Mecca, stand on a street corner and quote John 3:16, and you will be in eternity before you get to the word "whosoever." Otherwise, you may very well have to just keep living, loving Jesus, being ignored, being excluded, and generally feeling a bit alone, until one day, Taaaa Daaaa, the Trump will sound, and you will be hugging Jesus. It is a lot harder to be a Philadelphian, living in Laodicea, and staying faithful to the end. But look here now, the ultimate test, friend, is to DIE in Christ at 81 years old, senile, riddled with cancer, and whispering the name "Jesus" to the last breath. Try that instead of longing to be iced by the New World Order.

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

This is a revealing to the readers of the letter. This means the Church Age believers will see the Antichrist revealed.

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

The letting is done by the Holy Ghost. I am sick of this heresy that Satan is preventing anything from happening. Satan knows that day and hour less than I do, and God will not wait for Satan. God will take out the Bride, by the Person of Jesus Christ, and when he does, the Holy Ghost will stop restraining evil in the earth by the simple fact that the salt of earth, the Church, is gone.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

This is the final revealing, after the Church is gone, to the wicked. To whatever degree the true Bible believers figure out who the Antichrist is, it will not slow down or speed up anything. God allows the Church to be salt, and, after the Rapture, God allows the wicked to think Antichrist is Jesus Christ by giving them "strong delusion." If you tell any nonbeliever who the Antichrist is now, they will laugh at you. They are not yet sufficiently deluded. So, identifying the Antichrist is not awfully important.

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The covenant will be convincing to Jews, and they will sign it and disarm. Peace will SEEM to break out on all sides, and then the Beast will desecrate the temple which was built for him and the Zionist Jews.

Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

The Antichrist will not have an army at first, that comes in later verses. He has two policies: Peace and Flattery. This is the ongoing cry coming from all One Worlders, the New World Order, the United Nations, Liberal political entities worldwide, and from the EU and Javier Solana.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
23 And after the league (Treaty of 9:27) made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people (Israeli Zionism).

WELL ARMED Solana, yet he is a civilian.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province (Zionists will think they have a great deal going with the Beast); and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

The strong holds of the whole earth will fall before him. All men will not only take the mark of the Beast, they will be defeated by him every time they rise up against him, and that includes the USA.

25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south (Arab nations) with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

There is a mightly deception going on here, and I believe it is the Beast, who hates ALL sons of Abraham, who is dealing a death blow to the Arabs. In the following verses we see how God distracts him so that he cannot finish off the Arabs. See Jeremiah 48:39 and Isaiah 16:14-- God preverves a small remnant in Moab and Ammon.

28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

The Beast shall have great military might. Disarmament may be worldwide, and a rather small force will be all he needs to bash up any group that does not submit.

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Blood line Jews who see the deception of the Beast and his confederate Zionist mob will refuse to submit, and they will be massacred by Antichrist and the Zionists.

34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

Jews who come to believe in the coming Messiah and resist the Antichrist will look clean and righteous to Gentile unbelievers, and these suffering people will cling to Jews hoping to be delivered somehow.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

At least 144,000 blood line Jews prevail.

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

WILL THE BEAST BE A QUEER?
It is claimed that the word "God" in verse 38 should be lower case. Not so. This man makes a show of honoring the God, Jehovah. This is obviously mandatory if he is to persuade fallen Christendom he is Christ and Messiah to the Jews. He will not, as in 37, regard the God of his fathers, in that, he will hate the God he honors formally and publicly. Verse 37 speaks of his private mind. In fact, he does not regard personally any god. He is his own god. The clue here to what is happening is the phrase, "nor the desire of women." This book is written to the Jews, and Jesus makes that clear himself in Matthew 24 and Mark 13, which are warnings to Jews in the coming Great Tribulation. So, in Jewish context, what do Jewish women "desire" in the day of Daniel? Answer: To give birth to Messiah.

The Satanic Prince will not regard (respect and worship) the One whom Jewish women "desire" to give birth to. This is very obscure to Daniel and the Jewish reader because it is a rare moment when the future, with Messiah coming and being rejected, followed by the Church Age and the Rapture, is hinted at in the Old Testament. God made sure the Jewish reader could not understand it, but YOU and I are permitted to understand it. So, the false Messiah will understandably officially honor Jehovah to deceive the Jews of the Tribulation era, he will personally hate God, and he will hate Jesus Christ whom he is trying to supplant. So, the idea that the Satanic Prince will not be married, or that he will be a sodomite, is foolishness. In fact, he will very likely be a tender hearted and sweet man with the ladies and children-- He must counterfeit Jesus Christ, and the manual for deception is the four Gospels.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

How would the elect be deceived by a sodomite who hated women? The elect will look for a compassionate miracle worker who heals the sick and is humble and charming, and he will even be harsh on hypocrites and the wicked. The deception is GREAT dead reader. The Antichrist does everything possible to BE Christ. Note the 24:24-- The KJV ordering of verse numbers once again is very interesting. In talking about how convincing this Satanic governor is, we think of the 24 orders of the Levitical Priesthood and the twenty four elders at the throne of God in heaven seen by John in the Revelation. Government submitted to the authority of God Almighty-- The whole motive of Satan and the Antichrist is to rule in the place of God, as Satan intended in Isaiah 14:14. It is the folly of fallen man that he falls in worship and submission before the wrong governor, and that is the whole point of the discussion in Daniel 9-12. It is most interesting to watch great men fall at the feet of Javier Solana, at this very time, and exalt the man to absolute power.

Daniel 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him:

Saudi Arabia tries to resist.

Daniel 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

This is God and Magog and Gomer et al, who come in Exekiel 38.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

These are Arab nations, Jordan in particular, and north Arabia. They are Semitic, and God has mercy on them. If you don't like God taking care of the children of Abraham you will not be very happy during the Messianic Kingdom.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

Isaiah 19 tells of Egypt's troubles and of Messiah rescuing them afterward.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

World monetary power will be vested in the Antichrist.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

He will rule from Mount Zion. He does everthing to counterfeit Messiah. So, once the true seed Bride is removed in the Rapture of the Lord's Church, and the weed / tare Whore is mighty, the Antichrist will take up residence in Jerusalem. The Women system will be headquartered in Babylon (Zechariah 5).

The following is written ONLY for Jews of the time of the end, as verse 4 indicates. But, Daniel is a blessing to the Church Age Bible believer since we can watch over the Jews shoulder and see that we are close to the Gathering of the Church to Christ.

Daniel chapter 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

I am convinced that verse 12 is very private and personal to the Jews of the Great Tribulation. We can speculate what it means, but I believe there is a day coming which is still a secret, and only those who live out this short era of pain and terror, and yet prevail faithful, will understand it. It is the height of arrogance for us Gringo Germanic Anglos to think we must explain everything, or that we have such revelatory powers that we can tell beforehand everthing that God will do. Some things need to be left alone.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Daniel may be one of those, John's "brother," who shows the Revelation to John. It would be in the character of God to reward Daniel for his zeal and faithfulness under extreme temptation and the hate of Babylon, that God would allow Daniel to speak into the eternal Word of God such things as He desired to say to us and the Jews in The Revelation. I also wonder if the two witnesses in Jerusalem (Revelation 11) will be John and Daniel. Who would better understand the significance of the message and the prophetic moment? Both men also were miracle workers, and both men stood at the end of the prophetic statements of future things by God. Each man looked to the other for validation of his own contribution to the canon of the Word. In fact, I suspect they will have an old camp meeting shouting service in the streets of Jerusalem-- sort of a godly humble antiphonal version of "I told you so." If you hear someone distractedly humming the Hallelujah Chorus during the Marriage Feast of the Lamb, that will be Handel listening in on the two witnesses and humming the accompaniment. But, this is only my personal notion, I admit.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The future of the Bible believer is not terror, it is comfort, it is hope, it is JESUS. So, as you read about the Antichrist here, it is only urgent in that we can conclude that, if we are going to get anything done for Jesus, we better get on with it. If you have people you want to see get saved, you better give them the Gospel in word and deed NOW. We may be looking for the advent of His Infernal Hellishness as the next event. But, please don't leave this page with big wide eyes and an Art Bell outlook on the Christian life. NONE OF THESE THINGS CAN HAPPEN UNTIL YOU AND I ARE OUT OF HERE (I assume you are born again-- If not, you will be left behind to be the the plaything of Satan-- Better look into the Gospel of Jesus Christ now.)
