DEATH
IN THE CITYTwo
Thirds of the world population will dieIf
you want to learn about all the death of the human race, about two thirds of it,
during the Great Tribulation, you can study the Bible and find that famine, drought,
earthquakes, and other natural catastrophic events will kill massive numbers of
people worldwide. But, the wars that Satan inspires among the nations will kill
many also. God will not allow these natural and murderous events to totally wipe
out humanity. Matthew
24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning
of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days
should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake
those days shall be shortened. The
"elect" in this text are those converted to faith in Jesus Christ during
the Great Tribulation, most of whom will be Jews. So, we see that God has to stop
his wrath on humanity after only three and one half years. Also, God stops the
wrath of Antichrist after seven years. Antichrist leads the way first, and at
the mid point in Antichrist's rule, God steps in and ADDS his measures of wrath
to the picture. If
you imagine that this short period is too little time for two thirds of the world's
population be consumed in death, you greatly underestimate the force of both God
AND Antichrist to seek their goals. God wants to cleanse the world of the wicked
so that Jesus Christ will not have resistance against his Messianic Kingdom after
the Great Tribulation. Satan, in his Antichrist, wants to simply see how many
people he can kill and take to hell with him. Also,
someone will ask why I speak of three and a half years. This should answer that. Daniel
12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth
for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as
never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy
people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Daniel
12:5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this
side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the
river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the
man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up
his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for
ever that it shall be for a time, (one
year)
times, (two years)
and an half; (half a
year)
and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all
these things shall be finished. Seven
years of Satanic rule, accompanied by the added wrath of God against rebels against
him during that era, is the total time planned by God for this thrashing of the
earth. God simply shortens it in order for Jesus Christ, the Messiah, to have
something to start with when he returns after the Tribulation to set up his Kingdom. Be
careful, my friend. If you are betting on surviving the massacre of four billion
people out of six billion, you have very bad odds. Faith in Jesus Christ, and
confessing your faith openly, will give you the promise of missing all of the
Satanic era.
Plagues
and EpidemicsI
had a hard time deciding which anthropological category to put plague and epidemics
under. Epidemics will most certainly be a trigger point resulting in horrendous
mass death of much of humanity, but I decided to treat this topic here because
of the potential of plagues and epidemics to wipe out the whole world population. In
the above discussions we saw that the whole world will be swept clean of food
by drought, poisoned water, and war. These conditions breed poverty, and out of
poverty comes epidemics that cannot be stopped. Jesus Christ warned us that the
Great Tribulation would be marked by plague which the Bible calls pestilence: Matthew
24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation
shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning
of sorrows. Jesus
is trying to warn his followers about the future. Some people accuse God of being
cruel to bring such wrath on the earth. Well, the enormous load of warning material
on the Great Tribulation is in the Bible so that wise people will take heed NOW,
and they will confess faith in Jesus Christ and be delivered from these horrors. We
now look at the anthropological history of plague and epidemic. In
the Late Middle Ages (1340–1400) Europe experienced the most deadly disease outbreak
in history when the Black Death, the infamous pandemic of bubonic plague, hit
in 1347, killing a third of the human population. It is believed that society
subsequently became more violent as the mass mortality rate cheapened life and
thus increased warfare, crime, popular revolt, waves of flagellants, and persecution.[14]
The Black Death originated in or near China and spread from Italy and then throughout
other European countries. Arab historians Ibn Al-Wardni and Almaqrizi believed
the Black Death originated in Mongolia, and this was proven correct as Chinese
records showed a huge outbreak in Mongolia in the early 1330s. Wikipedia In
other sources it is reported that real estate prices plummeted during the plague,
and rent prices dropped and did not come back to pre-plague levels for 300 years.
This
Black Plague started in Mongolia and worked its way to all of Europe and later
to India and Africa. Imagine what might happen if a killer plague started today.
With the obsession for air travel all over the world a plague like the Black Plague
could cover the whole world in weeks. As I write Ebola is spreading across West
Africa, and cases have turned up in the USA, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Ireland,
and in Europe. The deadliest factor in worldwide plague is that Muslims must make
a once-in-a-lifetime Hajj (pilgrimage) to Mecca. This Hajj will happen just two
months from the date I write this, and Muslims will come from all over West Africa
and be tightly packed into the Great Mosque in Mecca and in the city as they camp
in the streets for several days. Ebola will thus be spread to Muslims from all
over the world, from Dearborn, Michigan to London to Paris to western China. This
is how epidemic could kill a third of the world's population. The
plague God sends during the Great Tribulation will arrive when the world's nations
are being decimated by famine, war, financial collapse, and more. There will be
no way to stop this plague. So,
if you reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ and enter the Great Tribulation, you
will have a 33% chance of dying of some horrible disease. If you survive, I can
almost promise you without any doubt that death plagues will take the lives of
those you love. In order to survive you will have to put yourself under quarantine
in order not to contract the diseases raging around the world. "At home alone,"
which we said earlier will not be possible, will be essential to survival.
Vacant
CitiesWe
have discussed several conditions and events that will transpire during the Great
Tribulation. To epidemics, perpetual war, and famine the Bible tells us that there
will be a great earthquake that will drop virtually every wall. Add to this an
object from space which will crash into the ocean and poison it. Again, add the
fact that humanity will become lawless, full of wrath, and vindictive toward one
another. Add to this the destruction of much of the green vegetation of the earth
due to drought. What we are talking about is the total destruction of all cities
worldwide. WORLDWIDE
WAR
Revelation 6:3 And when he had opened the second
seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another
horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace
from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto
him a great sword. Please
notice that this prophecy does not say the angel brought war as such. If implies
that ALL peace was removed from human society. This means war, but it also means
war in families, at work, and in the market place. People will hate each other
intensely. FAMINE
Revelation
6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and
see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of
balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts
say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny;
and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. During
the era when this prophecy was written, a day's wage was one penny. Jesus himself
makes this clear in a parable about a farmer paying his men a penny for a day's
work. So, a measure, which was about one quart in Bible times, of wheat will cost
a day's wages. This today could be about $170 dollars in developed nations. The
point of this prophecy is this-- FAMINE WORLDWIDE DEATH
Revelation
6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death,
and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part
of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the
beasts of the earth. During
the Great Tribulation God sends this particular angel to make sure one fourth
of the world's population is killed. In other prophecies about this era we learn
of much more death. So, Bible teachers often estimate that fully two thirds of
the world's population will die during the seven years of terror and wrath. Also,
notice something new to our discussion-- wild animals will turn on people and
kill them. The fear of man will be taken away from animals. Having grown up and
worked in Africa I have heard amazing stories of how lions, elephants, and other
animals which could easily kill men would tremble and flee from humans. This is
not always the case, but some of the most deadly animals will choose to turn and
leave when men come around. This will totally change during the Great Tribulation. EARTHQUAKE
Revelation
6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great
earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became
as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree
casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the
heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and
island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and
the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and
every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks
of the mountains; An
earthquake way beyond anything known to previous human history will shake the
earth terribly. Somehow, in conjunction with the earthquake, horrendous physical
events in the earth temporarily will shut off the sun and moon, and meteorites
will rage down on the earth like rain. Evolutionists will undoubtedly try to explain
this away, denying that God had anything to do with it, but in the end, the talking
heads and world leaders will be hiding in caves in the hills trembling and confused. We
need to look at another prophet, Ezekiel, who describes this same event another
way: Ezekiel
38:19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in
that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that
the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field,
and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon
the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be
thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall
fall to the ground. Apply
this to the world's great cities please. God
seems to want all great cities totally destroyed. Think of New York City, London,
Paris, Moscow, as well as Jerusalem of course..... a flat pile of rubble. It seems
to me that all of the world's cities are great concentrations of wickedness. All
of the worst of every nation's culture is in the cities. So, if you live in a
city along with 90% of the world's population you will be forced to flee into
the countryside to forage and rob from the few who are farming. In the USA only
2% of the population is farming. They will not possibly be able to feed any fraction
of the starving displaced population. Also, fuel for corporate farms will be totally
unavailable. Only subsistence farms will be left. And, those farmers will be armed
to the teeth defending their farms. This too will result in food and survival
wars raging across the open areas of all nations. FIRE,
OR POSSIBLY VOLCANOES
Revelation 8:7 The first angel
sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast
upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass
was burnt up. This
sounds like a volcano, possibly hundreds of them. In any case, all green vegetation
will be destroyed by the ash fallout, and a third of all trees as well. This will
exacerbate the ongoing famine caused by war and other catastrophic events. POLLUTION
OF THE SEAS
Revelation
8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with
fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died;
and the third part of the ships were destroyed. Some
sort of mountain loaded with some chemical will fall into the ocean, and one third
of all ocean life will die. The reference to ships is a puzzle but may imply the
tidal waves created by the mountain falling into the water. DEADLY
ASTEROID
Revelation 8:10 And the third angel sounded,
and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell
upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And
the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became
wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. Space
scientists worry about an asteroid crashing into the earth, and they do well to
be worried. This monster, Wormwood, will poison one third of the earth's water.
Many people will die of the poison in the water because one third of fresh water
will be poisoned, not just sea water. The worst water situations will be cities
which depend on dams and lakes for their water supply. Only people with well water
will have a chance to survive. This one woe will certainly make sure that big
cities are death traps during the Great Tribulation. THE
SUN, MOON, AND STARS DARKENED
Revelation
8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten,
and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third
part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the
night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst
of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth
by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet
to sound! This
event is separate from the sun and moon darkening during the great earthquake.
This darkening of the earth by some cosmic event yet unseen will then add to the
death of vegetation and food production as plants fail to mature and produce food
due to lack of sunlight. CONCLUSION
OF DISCUSSION OF CITIES DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION All
cities, large or small, will be totally destroyed by earthquakes. The few people
from the cities who survive will range out through the farm lands beyond the cities
and seek food to steal of beg off of farmers who have lost fully one third of
all trees and ALL of their vegetable crops and grain. Government officials will
be hiding in caves in the mountains, which means even their precious bunkers will
have been blasted into dust by natural disasters. There will be no work, no money,
and no good drinking water in any cities. The only water will be out in rural
areas where there are wells. So,
if you live in cities, suburbs, or even the green belts around cities where people
drive to work and have no gardens or wells, you will die. But, you will die only
after wandering off into the countryside and being hounded out of farm country
by farmers who are barely staying alive themselves. And,
to think, you are still thinking you can handle anything God can throw at you???? Isaiah
1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be
as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they
shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good
of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the
sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. If
you confess your sin of rebellion against God, and if you declare your faith in
Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be removed from all of this wrath
of God. Here
is a video study in cities of the world NOW gravely depressed or dying. The following
misery is all man made. Imagine when all the hell hits the world courtesy of God's
wrath. THIS
IS THE WORST NOW, BUT IT WILL BE UNIVERSAL DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION. THAT
WAS THE THIRD WORLD. THIS IS THE "MODERN" WORLD.
Remember,
these slums are right in plain view in the present. What will life be like in
the world's cities when complete cities are even worse than these slums? We need
to remember that national treasuries, banks, and tax revenue will totally collapse
as productivity virtually disappears. Governments will be totally unable to help
suffering people in their nations. There will be no potentate to declare a "national
emergency" and send the Federal helpers to the rescue. By this time, ALL
national leaders will do nothing for anyone without a bribe or for sexual favors.
If
you survive, you will still be miserableAs
you may remember, if you manage to avoid the Mark of the Beast, and if you confess
your faith in Jesus Christ During the Great Tribulation, you will be executed
by Satanic forces. The Bible makes it clear that everyone who becomes a Bible
believer during the Great Tribulation will be executed by the Antichrist. This
was discussed above. The
photo is from Detroit. This will be the world during the Great Tribulation. So,
what will it be like to refuse to confess Jesus Christ and actually survive to
be among the one third who are living when Jesus Christ returns in power and great
glory to rule the earth? You
will be miserable. You will have turned into a raging filthy minded pervert because
of the strong delusion God sends you, and because of the absolute tyranny of immorality
forced on you by Satan's Antichrist. I am sure that this is the last thing you
would expect of yourself now. But, you will love the thought of killing people,
and you will exalt sodomy and every vile human form of wickedness. You will also
be mentally and emotionally whipped. You will very likely be indigent because
of the earthquakes, famine, and war that fill those seven years of Satanic rule. Then
you will step into an era where you, and your possible sodomite son, will be under
the strict law of Jesus Christ during his kingdom reign on the earth. The penalty
for sodomy will be death, so it will not be many days before your son is discovered
by the Law of Christ, and he will be executed, probably by stoning. All of the
solutions for life's problems which you accepted from Satanic forces during the
Tribulation will get you into perpetual trouble. This does not mean you will not
be invited to repent and submit to and love Jesus Christ the Messiah. But, if
you rebel then against Christ, as you do now, well, things will be safe in your
world, but you will be miserable. YOUR
MISERY WILL BE PROGRESSIVE AND DOWNWARD UNDER THE ANTICHRIST I
will show you what happens to an advanced culture which is completely whipped.

an amazing culture these people had. What cleverness and zeal to build such grandeur
in such a challenging situation. So, where are the descendants of the Inca Empire
today, over 400 years later? The
second video shows you the end of the line, the present, for the Quechua Indians.
The vast majority of the kids in this video are Quechuas, descendants of the Incas
of Machu Picchu. Everyone
who manages to survive the Great Tribulation will have been thoroughly whipped
by Satan and by the wrath of God. It seems to me that your option to confess faith
in Jesus Christ, and escape wrath, is your best choice. The question is, can you
bring yourself to believe Jesus Christ is real and that he is your only Savior
and Lord? He has no misgivings about you, so what are you waiting for?
THE
QUESTION:
If God the Holy Spirit is still here now,
Why is He Letting
the World Become so Evil?Many
people find God delinquent for not jumping in and forcing humanity to behave better.
They then move on to conclude that there is no God. For if the God of the Bible
were so holy and righteous, he would not be able to tolerate human behavior, especially
as we see it today. King
David in the Bible addressed this question: Psalms
2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings
of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the
LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder,
and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall
laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them
in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king
upon my holy hill of Zion. Why
do the heathen rage? Does God see how wicked our tyrannical rulers are? Does the
God of the Bible see how vile and cruel the religion of Islam really is? Where
is God when things go wrong? God
is laughing at the wicked. This is not happy laughing-- God is laughing in mockery
because he has plans for the wicked. As I was finishing this article one of Hollywood's
most filthy mouthed comedians killed himself. God simply steps back sometimes
and lets wicked people destroy themselves. But,
why do people suffer? God
created Adam and Eve in the beginning of the world in his own image: Genesis
1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them
have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth. God
is a spiritual being who has sovereign will. He chooses, and he gets what he wants.
He made man in his image, and man chooses, and he too gets what he wants. Since
God is absolutely holy, there are no ugly consequences to his will and actions.
But, since man has fallen in sin, following the example of Adam and Eve, man's
will often leads to nasty results, and this sometimes spills over on you and me
as evil men choose to do evil things. You
may wonder why God does not simply interrupt all evil choices of men. But, you
would be enraged if God stopped you every time you made a wrong choice. Your self-will
in appetites, sexual choices, and social behavior might well be interrupted frequently,
as might mine. God
is not your nanny, and he is not the nanny of Hamas, ISIS, and Al Qaeda. God created
Adam and Eve to be his friends. God created man to be a co-creator in the earth,
that is, to enhance the creation and make even more beauty of it. This is why
humans are the only created beings who plant flowers, paint pictures, and write
ballads. Like God, their friend, they take what he gave them and create more and
more. This is philosophically why evolution is such blasphemy-- This system of
God-denial claims that accidents created the world we see instead of God and man. So,
here is God's friend, Adam. Adam
made his choice and sinned in the Garden of Eden and broke God's law. Man fell
into sin. Adam, as the first executive of the human race, made sin his choice,
and you inherited a nature that keeps pulling you toward sin. We all have to deal
with this second force in ourselves. Our conscience pulls one way, and the nature
we inherited from fallen Adam pulls the other way. That is why the line in the
song sung by Tommy Cash, Johnny's brother, says, "It's because man is born
in sin, that's why the heathen rage." Thus,
since Adam fell in the Garden of Eden, man has had to battle with a tendency in
himself to take his creative will and do evil instead of good. When the atom was
smashed, instead of going right to work and building a nuclear power plant, evil
men built bombs and blew up two cities in Japan. Should
God change his plan? God wanted Adam to be autonomous, that is, Adam was to have
the will to do good or evil. To create Adam to be unable to do evil and disobey
God would mean that God would have created a robot, not a man in God's image. So,
God the Holy Spirit is indeed busy in this world restraining evil, but man still
has choices, and man will often make godless and wicked choices. If you think
God is on vacation and not paying attention you have a horrible surprise coming
in the Great Tribulation when God totally vacates the earth for seven years and
lets you have Satan for your god. If you are honest with yourself you know very
well that there are many forces at work in the world restraining evil, from the
police to your own conscience. God will remove all of this restraint, and your
own conscience will become worthless after God sends you strong delusion. You
will believe the lie that evil is good, and good is evil. Isaiah
5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light,
and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle
strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness
of the righteous from him! In
Psalm 2 above you read in verse 6 that God has set a King in the earth. This is
a prophetic Psalm looking forward to the day Jesus Christ, the Messiah, comes
back to the earth to personally rule in power and glory. He first came 2000 years
ago to offer his kingdom to Israel and the rest of the world. Israel crucified
him. So, God gave human history a parenthetic era, the present age of the Church,
in which the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been taken to the whole earth. During
this era the Jews suffered in many ways because they rejected their Messiah King,
Jesus Christ. And, during this age God is calling all men from all nations, AND
YOU, to faith in Jesus Christ. We
are now winding down the end of the Age of the Church. Humanity degraded downward
during all of the previous eras of God's work in the earth, and now the Christian
community world wide has become grossly deformed and counterfeit in most respects.
God is ready to end this era very soon. The next short era is the Great Tribulation
in which God will trash all the works of man, destroy the counterfeit Church,
and reduce to rubble all of the physical and philosophical creations of man which
offend God. And, all of the above discussion in this article simply shows how
God will turn man against man, and nature against man, in order to destroy the
wickedness man has made. Once
the earth us totally humbled, and the wicked are dead and in hell, Jesus Christ,
the king of verse 6 in Psalm 2 above, will rule for one thousand years. Once Jesus
is in the earth ruling, your longing to see God supervise humanity will be fulfilled.
But, if you are not a believer in Jesus Christ now, you would hate his rule later.
You THINK you know Jesus as a good prophet and a nice guy, but Jesus Christ will
soon rule with a rod of iron and force humanity to behave. The righteous will
love this era, but any whipped souls who manage to survive the Great Tribulation
will be enraged that God is totally supervising their lives. They will submit,
but with resentment. Is
the Jesus at the right your idea of Jesus? Here
is what the Bible says the rule of Jesus Christ will be like after he returns
after the Great Tribulation. Please compare this description with the pansy wimpy
Hollywood Jesus created by modern man. Revelation
19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon
him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make
war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns;
and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was
clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed
in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword,
that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of
iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS,
AND LORD OF LORDS. There
