There are also about 200,000 Jesuses in the Tijana, Mexico phone book. If the living, or the dead, need any attention from you, the verse above makes it clear that your ONLY point of communication is with God. Since God has not promised he would do anything for you which involves the dead, the last phrase in verse 19 must be taken as rhetorical.

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

If you need to talk to anyone but God, about anything, be very certain they are alive. If they are dead, the very best you accomplish is a conversation with dirt, the dust of the earth.

For a complete treatment of this discussion, I am sending you to Jeremy James' site online. There is no point in me trying to duplicate what he has done with exceptional insight and Bible basis. One disclaimer though. He uses the American Standard Version. Please look up Bible texts in the King James Version to find any differences, and modify James' comments if necessary.

So, we move on to discussing voices from the other side again, and we now discuss the voice of God, as well as visions and dreams.

HOW DOES GOD SPEAK TO BIBLE BELIEVERS?

Visions and Dreams

Long ago, long before the day of Moses, a man named Job lived in worship and obeisance to God. Satan mocked at God and claimed that Job would curse God if Satan were allowed to make trouble for him. God permitted Satan to test Job, and he suffered the death of all his children and lost his health seriously.

In the Bible book of Job we are introduced to three friends of Job who all came to lecture him over and over about his wicked spirit and lack of reverence of God. They were lying, and after all of them had finished their harangue of Job, God rebuked the three alleged friends of Job fiercely and ordered them to do sacrifice to Job and ask Job to mediate with God to spare their lives. They did as God commanded, and Job forgave them.

One of the dead beats who attacked Job was Eliphaz. He claimed to have received a vision or prophecy from God for Job, but if you read it carefully you will quickly see it has all the marks of a Satanic visitation:

Job 4:12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
20 They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
21 Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.

Eliphaz claims to have secret information in verse 12. He claimed this happened at night in verse 13. In Verse 14 he implies that some great power terrified him. He speaks of a spirit in verse 15, but he fails to identify the spirit. Thus, we assume it was Satan. God would not use a man he intended to curse later to deliver truth to Job. In verse 16 Eliphaz tries to make the whole thing very mysterious. This is not how God dealt with his people in the Old Testament. He always quickly identified himself if he was giving them information in a vision.

Please note that in verse 17 through 21 Eliphaz claims God gave these truths in question form. The irony is, Job already knew all of the things in those verses. Why did God need to come to a godly man and give him special revelation and prophecy of things he already knew? This is typical today of 99% of Charismatic prophecy. It is vain repetition of truth already in the printed Word of God. God does not use mindless stupid tricks in this way.

So, get used to it my friend. God is not going to give you special revelation, neither in visions nor in prophecy. Anything of that sort, which some devil in the dark has presented to you, is 100% of Satan.

 

Charismatic Movement-- Visions and Prophecies

I was tuning a piano in the city of Newaygo, Michigan near where I also pastoring a country church. After tuning the piano, I asked my usual question, "Would you like a phone call in a year to remind you it is time to tune the piano?"

This lady was strange. She spoke in clipped speech, walked with minced steps, and put on airs of deep spirituality. She was a newer variety of Charismatic. When I asked if she wanted the phone call in a year to retune her piano, she said, "Wait a minute." She then went into trance-like concentration, which I was supposed to believe was her time to get a revelation from God. Finally, after way too long, she turned and said, "God does not want me to tune the piano in a year."

I have news for you. God gave you a mind, and in Christ that mind is renewed. He expects you to use it. You know your budget, and you know that a phone call is not a contract, so, "Yea, give me a call." A lot of Charismatics are pretending to get revelations and visions from God about things they ought to be able to figure out for themselves. God does not expect you to ask all your friends on Facebook to pray that God will show you whether of not to buy vanilla or chocolate ice cream. If you are doing this, you are making mockery of Jesus Christ, and you are just showing off, like a two year old brat. You are not spiritual, you are a fool.

But, the worst part of this is the "voice from the other side" aspect. People who put on these airs of spiritual revelations from God are trying to make you believe they have something you do not have..... like God is talking to them in a way he does not talk to you. Laugh at them. Mock them. They are possessed of devils, unless they are mentally deranged.

The fortune telling lust of Charismania and other silly asses

Demos Shakarian, Director of the Full Gospel Business Men's International, was given a prophecy by some Famous Amos faith healer that he would live to see the Rapture and go in it. The prophecy did not come true, and the prophecy was swept under the carpet. This is what you can expect from ALL prophecies hatched in the perverted minds of Charismatic leaders. And, I include David Wilkerson in that simply because he adds prophecy to the canon of the Word of God, which God forbids.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Thus, David Wilkerson and all alleged prophets in Christendom today are guilty of violating verse 18 above, and thus they will go to hell. I do not care how much they seem to preach the Gospel and Bible truth on other occasions. Because they add to the Word of God with prophecies, they will go to hell.

Watch this heretic, without quoting one Bible text, make a distinction between a false prophet and a wrong prophet. This is blasphemy. Any prophecy that is wrong is of Satan, and in Moses' day they would have been stoned, even if they were priests in the tabernacle.

What have we learned? We learn that prophecy is not for today. Why? Answer: The Word of God is complete, and by it God communicates to his people with the help of the Holy Spirit of God. Their voices are virtually "from the other side," that is, from Satan, the author of lies.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come (the Word of God), then that which is in part shall be done away.

The early Church Christians did not have the whole Bible which we now have, and it was not even determined what would be in the Bible until about 150 AD. Furthermore, the Bible was not printed in one unit of 66 books until even later. It was in copies of individual letters from the Apostles which were hand copied and very hard to come by. With Bibles everywhere today, and even online for free, there is therefore NO reason to be looking for prophecies and new revelations. That which is perfect is now here and has been for a long time. The whole point of the King James Bible in 1611 was to make the Bible available to any plowman (ordinary farmer).

When some pompous self-exalting jerk stands in the assembly and says, "Thus saith the Lord," he is blaspheming the Word of God by implying that God failed to give us all of his revelation long ago, and that blaspheming prophet is denying the power of the Holy Spirit IN EVERY BORN AGAIN BELIEVER to bring us unto all truth.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

What is meant by "throughly furnished"?

Answer: This means the Bible is all any believer needs to be completely informed of God's truth and how to live the Christian life.

The word "perfect" in verse 17 is larger in old English meaning than in modern English. It means both complete and without error. There is NOTHING needed to be added to God's written Word, there is no correction of error needed, and there is no deletion needed, even by God himself. By the searching of the Word of God you can be complete in Christ and live a full life of victory. Anything anyone adds to your knowledge which goes beyond the Bible IN ANY WAY is blasphemy, and the alleged prophet is possessed of devils.

And, GET THIS STRAIGHT, any man who adds to, or removes from, the Word of God is a damned Satanic impostor into your life and the life of your local church. I do not care what his fame, nor do I give a fig how many degrees he has in theology, he is possessed of devils. Kick his pompous butt out the door and run him off.

Thus, you will NEVER get a prophecy, vision, or dream from any God honoring source, and that includes God himself. This is not because God has run out of ideas. It is because God said he had given you and me everything we need to live a full life in Christ. And, all of the revelation you will ever need are in the Word of God, not in the imaginations of church house prophets.

Jeremiah 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

If such confusion existed in the Old Testament era Age of Law, when God was actually speaking from time to time through real prophet, then imagine what chaos we might expect in the Age of the Church when prophecy is done away with by God himself. And, indeed, we do have such chaos in all Charismatic and Pentecostal churches and a few others.

The question come, "Well, if the Bible is my only source of hearing from God, what do I do with the prophecy a man made in church, and it came true?"

Deuteronomy 13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

In the Law of Moses, from the earliest times of law giving, God dealt with signs and wonders which then lead to prophecies and false teachings. And, the above test implies that certain signs and wonders may come to pass, come true, and they are of Satan. Hello, is anyone paying attention?

"But Steve, I have had my experience." Damn your experience. Go get your Bible and read and read and read. Then, pray, and pray, and pray. THAT is your only source to hear the voice of God. If that is not satisfactory for you, you are not born again. PERIOD, FULL STOP, WITH LOTS OF !!!!!!!

Look at verse 2 above. The sign and wonder came true. The word "whereof" then tells us that the prophet moves on from giving a Satan empowered sign and wonder, claiming it validates his message, to teach falsehood and idol worship. Since I Corinthians 13, above, teaches that prophecies shall cease and fail, and since we have that which is perfect in the Word of God, you have NO business even being present when signs and wonders are being done. There is powerful seduction going on, and you provide for the flesh and the devil to mess with your mind if you are even watching and listening.

Acts 17:21 For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.

From this discussion we may conclude that you need go no further than in the local church to hear the voices of Satan and his devils. These voices are disguised as the voice of a prophet, evangelist, "Apostle," Bishop, pastor, or any yo yo who stands up and claims they are speaking by the power of God. Their revelations and prophecies are the very voice of Satan. You are an abject fool if you follow blandly along fluttering around these spiritual bastards like moths to a candle.

HERE IS A MAD HATTER ALLEGED VISION OF A CHARISMATIC GIRL IN KOREA

 

God uses three sources to direct us

1. The Word of God-
Are you content to hear from God for the rest of your life by only the reading of the Word of God and prayer? If not, you are set up for some nasty visits from devils. All of the above discussion should have proven this to you by now. Do you need to confess to God the sin of exalting and following the voices of blasphemers who are nothing more than Satanic fortune tellers?

2. Circumstances-
George Middleton was a missionary in Ethiopia where we also served the Lord in the early 1970s. George and his wife were home in Canada on furlough, and he went alone to a missions conference in Philadelphia. After the conference George went to the train station to catch a train to the airport. He was standing on the platform when several plain clothes detectives rushed him, hand cuffed him, and hauled him to a police station. Everything George told them to identify himself they ignored until they were at the police station. The officers then did a thorough background check on him, and they realized they had the wrong men. They apologized and told him he looked exactly like a criminal they wanted to arrest.

George later joked that he was glad for once that he looked like a criminal and not a preacher, and you will see why he said that now.

George missed his flight from Philadelphia to Canada, so he sat and waited until another flight was available. Before getting on the second flight, he decided to call home and tell his wife what was happening.

When she answered the phone she broke down and sobbed. George asked why she was crying. She told him the first flight had crashed and all the passengers were dead. She had heard it on the news, and she assumed George was dead.

Now, if that was the only sort of miraculous event God ever let you see happen in your life, would you be content to live life without speaking in tongues, seeing neon signs light up in the sky, or getting some alleged revelation from the voice of an alleged prophet?

Can you sing the song in the video and be content?

3. Other Christians-
John Ruster was a friend of my wife and I. They were the age of our parents, and before we married, the Rusters had been like second parents to my wife while her parents were in Africa and she was going to college in Michigan.

John Ruster had two stories he told over and over to Christian men who were about to go into a partnership in business with an unsaved man. The first story was about a man John went into business with selling expensive jewelry. The man was unsaved but seemed to be very honest and wholesome. One morning John came to open the store, and the display cases were all empty. His business partner had taken all the inventory and fled the country.

John later went into business with another unsaved man as his partner. This time he was in the insurance sales business. And again, he came in one morning, and the customer files were totally gone. The partner had taken all his customers and moved down the street and opened his own insurance sales business. That was in the day of no computers, so there was no back up of the customer list. John had to start over from square one and nearly went bankrupt.

From then on, John not only covenanted to obey the Word of God about unequal yokes, he determined to always warn other Christians about the deadly nature of unequal yokes.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

If John Ruster, or some friend of yours like John, were the only audible voice of God you were ever to hear in your life, would you be content? One godly friend and your Bible? Or, would you go on playing the fool until Michael the Archangel stepped in front of you and slapped you up the side of the head with a wet shingle? The problem is, God sends no other voice but those of the Word and other believers..... prophecy and revelation by the Word, and counsel, encouragement, and rebuke by your friends in Christ.

If you refuse to faithfully "study to show thyself approved unto God," by digging into his Word and in prayer daily, you have NO business thrashing around trying to hear the voice of God through the tin horned guru of some Charismatic circus. These "bastard sons" will give you a "word from God" all right, but it will be the god of this world, Satan himself.

There certainly are marvelous moments in our lives in Christ, but about 99% of them are seen after they happen. Along the way, God leads you into his will simply because you walk close to him and keep your mind righteous through submission to his Word. Then, when you look back and see a miracle which God arranged to lead you, or save you from great evil, you can join the Psalmist in saying:

Psalms 16:5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

David, in speaking of his "reins" uses the Hebrew word for kidneys, which to the Hebrew people was the inner self. The word reins also refers to the reins used to guide a horse. The point? The miracles often are not the result of earth shattering events, rather; they are the hand of God gently steering his people along. The miracle is not seen until we look back down the road.

I will compare this to my father.

My Dad was a truck driver turned missionary. I grew up in Africa riding in a 1955 two wheel drive Chevy pickup truck. In Africa during the rainy season, we had to drive over miles and miles of black gumbo mud as sticky as pitch. The big cotton trucks and buses also traveled those roads, and their wheels dug deep ruts in the road. If you fell into those ruts, you might spend half a day getting out.

My Dad would keep our pick up truck moving almost too fast for the conditions, and I often hit my head on the roof of the truck as we bounced through a mud hole. Dad would come around a bend, and there was a scene of horror a couple hundred yards long. Dad would downshift, slam the gas pedal down, and he would abandon the road at once and head into the bushes. He would keep the throttle to the floor and smash over small trees and keep going, blazing a new track around the mud hole. The punks in the USA who go roar through mud after a rain would not like to live that way all the time I suspect. We had to if we wanted to go to the city and buy food to survive.

There were times when other drivers had made five of six alternate routes the same way Dad did, and they were all equally ugly and deeply rutted by trucks. So, Dad would put the pedal to the medal and roar straight into the main mud hole mess. The trick was to keep two wheels on the left up on the ridge between the deep ruts made by cotton trucks, and the other two wheels on the other side skidding along the shoulder of the road. I was bouncing up and down and holding my hand against the roof to keep from smashing my head.

Only after we got through the mess would we look back. I never felt more proud of Dad than at those moments. There along the top of the ridge between two foot trenches were his tire tracks zig zagging back and forth ever so slightly, but never quite falling into the ruts. There may have been bumps on my head from hitting the top of the cab, but the awe I had of Dad drowned out the passing pain.

And so it is with our Father in heaven. Throughout your life there will be times when you struggle through issues and challenges, with circumstances and with people, and you just keep the pedal to the medal. Only some time later will you look back and see the miracle of the hand of God guiding you. You are a spoiled rotten spiritual brat if you park the truck and demand that God send a voice, whether through other people of through alleged prophecies, to tell you what is coming next. Just keep you nose in the Book, and push on down the road, "praying always will all prayer and supplication."

And, if you have not gotten a long look back down the road you traveled lately, stop fretting about it. One day soon in heaven, when you are taking your eternal rest at the Throne of God, he will turn to you and say, "Son, I never showed that time you were dealing with the horrors of home schooling and the people who tried to take your kids away from you. Come over here. I want to show you the playback."

If God can have fun, and if he has a merry heart like Solomon did, I think my God will be chuckling as he recalls my fears and doubts as I traveled life's road. Up yonder, my friend, we will see the miracles. It was all about him all along. And, you will see where the angels interrupted evil men as they plotted against you, and the wreck on the Interstate you missed because an angel directed a cop to check your speed, and he stopped you and gave you a ticket. And, just maybe, God will say, "The angel standing over there smiling at you-- he was the cop."

You will not have many playback thrills in heaven if you keep demanding that God explain himself to you all the time now. And, while you are waiting for "a word," or a vision, a voice, or a dream, God may use someone else to do your work for him.

 

A Discerner Ministry, or Satan's Peeping Toms?

A Baptist pastor friend of mine buried himself in a devil deliverance ministry until that became the main event in his life. That troubled me-- chasing devils as an obsession is a treacherous trap to a number of men these days. Bob Larson is a man who has made a virtual circus of deliverance from devils. But, the worst thing my pastor friend came up with were his alleged "discerners." This is quite common in Charismatic circles, but it is also becoming a problem in other church groups.

The "discerner" can look into you and tell, not only that you are in sin, but they can name the sins. This is blasphemy, and it is an attempt to replace the work of the Holy Spirit from his ministry in the believer.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God is the only thing God provides to arrest the Bible believer and convict him of sin. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God for this purpose, so when other Christians claim they have an alleged gift to peek into you and confront you with your sin in an authoritative manner, THEY ARE HERETICS. They may be devil possessed and planted in your church or life to destroy you.

You are hearing an alien voice, not the voice of God?

 

The problem here is that it is not hard to guess about some sins we deal with, and then there are sins we are not conscious of. So, when the church house brat comes up to you and tells you that you have the sin of avarice, or the sin of lust of the eyes, they may be right.

Now, pay attention please. Since that is NOT a ministry of the Holy Spirit, and since the Word of God does the convicting of sin, you must rebuke this sort of person. That is why I tell you that they may well be devil possessed. Who is the accuser of the brethren.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The video I posted with this section is about Mel Bond being interviewed by Sid Roth. Roth is a flaming heretic, as is his guest Mel bond. This is an example of how well placed men scatter the sheep by wounding them with vile voices from Satan himself.

A word of caution is needed here. I told you above about John Ruster talking to other men who were contemplating going into an unequal yoke. That is entirely different from the "discerner" fraud. John Ruster did not read people's thoughts and see sin in them. He learned from their conversation what they were about to do, and he obeyed another Bible teaching.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

This is the sort of voice you better listen to if you want to know God's will for you, that is, to mature and loving brothers and sisters speaking to you words from the Word itself.

But, as to the voice of these alleged "discerners," they are not the voice of God spying into your thoughts and soul. That is only the job of the Holy Spirit. Tell any alleged "discerner" who confronts you to ship his freight to hell.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH A VERIFIED SENSE OF EVIL?

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Our war is not in the flesh. When Bible believers attack evil with political force there is no guarantee that God has any interest in the thing. Our warfare is spiritual, and it needs to stay out of sight from the ungodly, even if we imagine they would agree with us on the issue. A good example of this is the idiots who join forces with unsaved and Christ hating Rabbis to fight abortion. If you cannot deal with abortion on God's principles of warfare, do not get involved.

A friend of mine has come into knowledge of a very Satanic force in an American city. It involves many civic leaders, Free Masons, witches and Satanists, and law enforcement officials. It may also involve child sacrifice and sexual ritual abuse. The people who should be dealing with it should be law enforcement, but they do not even believe the problem exists, and some of them are actually facilitating it. This then is a spiritual strong hold. My friend has moved from investigation and trying to expose the thing, nearly getting himself killed by the wicked ones, and now he is taking a prayer warfare posture on the thing.

Here is the man's statement:

"I think the main defense and protection of this strong hold is that hardly anyone knows it exists. It hides in plain sight. If people knew to pray against it, then it certainly could be pulled down, and you can bet the Satanists who protect it are very well aware of this. We don't know how long the Tower of Babel stood in plain sight before God destroyed it and the symbolism of it."

"This is so fascinating, but I now feel empowered to actually do something constructive about it. The Satanists would say what I was doing was "destructive." Yet I have already started. Whatever it is Father, whatever dark power is hiding there that opposes you and is disobedient to you, please hear our prayer and use the "weapons of our warfare" for the pulling down of this evil strong hold. In the name of your son Jesus we ask that you would unleash your Holy power against this place -- this gateway into the evil power of the air -- and show us the pulling down of it. Amen."

To the worldly man, prayer instead of physical confrontation is a cowardly choice. To the believer, after physical confrontation has been defeated, resorting to prayer is a act of enlisting God himself in the battle as the only way to victory. The man of the world cannot do this, so he resorts to Occupy, Antonymous, and revolution.

Whatever you do, never go into spiritual warfare by using your imagination to invent battles. All over the world of Christendom there are silly asses who claim they bound the prince of Singapore, or the prince of Toronto. BAH! There is battle enough dealing with the war in YOU between the flesh and the spirit. There is plenty of hubris in confronting devils which manifest in people who ask to be delivered. These REAL battles are based on voices of real people and real observations. When you launch a spiritual battle on a whole city or nation you are a fool. Read that again please. If the prince of Toronto attacks you personally, resist that devil and he will flee from you, but stop chasing devils to amuse yourself.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO IF WE HEAR AUDIBLE VOICES?

First, we discuss the Imagination

All people have to learn to control their imaginations. Imagination is one of the ways in which we are totally distinct from animals, and God intended for us to use our imagination. We see that Jesus highly approved of the imagination by his heavy use of parables.

Mark 4:33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

Story telling is totally dependent on the listener's imagination, and those who master story telling are the best teachers. Poetry is also a form of literary use of the imagination. It is a sorry indication of the mongrel nature of modern culture that poetry has fallen into total disuse and disinterest.

Now, our imagination, though God given, runs easily to evil. Much evil, and many sins, virtually start in the imagination. If the imagination is only evil, as some simpleton Christians claim, then Jesus sinned in firing the imagination of his listeners with parables. But, in fallen man, the unsanctified mind is also deadly with potential for evil. Sexual offenses start in the mind and imagination, and sociologists agree that the mind is a sex organ in the human experience. One would be very challenged to find a crime that was committed without the imagination dwelling on some sinful lust in man.

So, we must consider the imagination as very vulnerable to Satanic intrusion, and this whole discussion of hearing voices, and seeing signs, has everything to do with our imagination. An unknown voice, or an alleged sign or wonder, though bogus or from Satan, can be processed by our imagination into something other than what it is. Those who follow their imagination at the expense of their reasoning power are known as gullible. Are you one of them?

We will give a whole study to the imagination at the end of this series.

 

Devils

If a voice comes to you, and it refers to facts that only you know about, that voice is from Satan. I say that assuming you have no idea what the message is about. It is very rare for God to speak audibly to anyone. Why? Answer: The Word of God is given to us to direct virtually every issue of life.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

There is no issue of life that you cannot deal with by prayer and the Word of God. To claim you need a voice from heaven is to say that God lied in the above verse.

If you do hear voices from devils, they will usually be pushing you toward one of the following: Suicide, rebellion against authority, accusation of sin, temptations to sin, reasons to believe the Bible is not the Word of God, or doubt. That is, doubt that God is in control, or doubt that God cares anymore.

If I have to tell you where those suggestions came from, my friend, you have not been paying attention.

 

Natural Phenomena

I visited a church in Michigan which was built in an octagon design. The strange thing about this building was its creepy acoustics. If a person stood right against the wall on one side of the church and whispered, someone on the opposite wall could hear them plainly. But, stand in the very center of the church, and when you talked it felt like your voice was not leaving you but disappearing into the air, or coming back at you. Such phenomena can cause people to imagine something mystical is happening.

I have read reports of crackling or static-like noises during the winter on glaciers and around frozen lakes. Also, it is said the the aurora causes music. This alleged music would be tones produced by some physical action of the ionization activity going on.

Also, all the booms that are being reported around the world these days are very likely caused by activity deep in the earth in which tensions are being relieved, and noises are produced. The magnetic North and South Poles are moving away from the true North and South Poles, and the poles are thought to be getting ready to flip. There is no historic record of this, though scientists know it happens. The magnetic field of the earth could be in chaos and making noises.

I have also read about people who hear deep tones, especially at night when there is total silence. This is true indoors as well as outdoors, and it could easily be the earth making a tone that only a few people can hear.

Whatever you do, never go see a psychiatrist about noises you hear. They will enter in their record that you are schizophrenic, and that record will follow you for the rest of you life and make all sorts of complications for you. Psychiatrists have NO clinical way to test and identify any of their alleged ailments they designate on people. Their whole discipline is uncontrolled and unproven scientifically, but the courts of the USA and other nations use psychiatrists to deal with people, and the results are right out of Mother Goose. If you hear noises, go see a medical doctor, and he will do some real tests. If he finds nothing, just live with it. Nature still has mysteries that science has not defined. Until they do, some of us may have to deal with these phenomena and ask God for help to get peace about it.

As to voices from the other side, the above discussion is not about spiritual sources of voices. Do not jump to faulty conclusions about these unexplained but natural noises.

 

Technology

My Dad told of a man long ago, in the middle states of America, who heard a radio station in his head. No one believed him, and he finally had to move to an area where he heard none of that. Some quirk in his bio-electrical circuitry was tuned to the frequency of a radio station.

Now, consider all the technology in the world now. It would be no wonder if certain people started hearing things. Some people hear a low rumble noise, and no scientists or doctors will take this seriously. They have an enormous chat area online where they console one another. In fact, I hear a low rumble at night when it is very still. I have assumed the earth may just be talking to us. But, I have no illusions about this. That subtle noise means nothing. I am not hearing ET call home to order pizza.

Fracking for oil has to cause noise as layers of rock and coal move, explode, and slip around. And, we have finally learned that this HAARP radio array in Alaska is really shaking the outer atmosphere, and they are believed to be shaking a lot of other things. This could well account for noises and even what seems like voices.

Then there are signals from all sorts of technology which flow all around us 24/7. It would be no shock one day to find that our brain is being stimulated by these stray transmissions. And, it will only get worse. So, let us not be so eager to assign the supernatural to wandering technology.

HERE IS MY ARTICLE ON BLUE BEAM
This is a technology scheme, allegedly constructed by the US Government, in which an effort is to be made to convince humanity that the Messiah has arrived. I now believe that Blue Beam was set aside, but I believe it could be used also to convince America and the world that we are soon to be attacked from space by imaginary beings. This simply is not possible because God would not leave us victims to other world beings without some biblical point of reference in the written revelation he has given us. If such a thing happened, would you go for it, or would you nail it for what it is by examining it with the Word of God? This is one possibility of some serious voices coming at us from wicked men using technology.

 

Jesus heard voices for sure:

Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

You may not have to deal with the physical audible voice of Satan, but the Prince of the Power of the Air has plans for you and every Bible believer-- DEFEAT. He "walketh about seeking whom he may devour," and he is totally confident he can defeat you. I grew up and later worked in Africa. The lions are absolutely silent as the stalk an animal ordinarily. But, when a lion is rushing an animal, it will sometimes roar just as it closes in on the victim. The reason for this is to panic the animal with shock and awe so that the animal freezes for an instant before fleeing. Satan is roaring in the hope that you will go into shock and awe.

You may hear voices, or you may get advice and alleged prophecies from even professing Christians, which are meant to charm you and send you off on a spiritual goose chase. But, God knows that, with his power and help, you will defeat Satan, because "greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world."

So, what was the weapon Jesus used to defeat Satan? Answer: The Word of God. Jesus, who had divine authority to give any rebuke he wished to his fallen angel, quoted him Scripture for each temptation. So, if Jesus did not ask God for a vision or a voice from heaven, using only the Word of God in warfare, why, pray tell, are you begging God for signs and wonders, voices and thunders, drums and bugles, before you will stand against Satan by using God's Word?

Jesus also received messages from Satan through those he loved. This is possibly the hardest voice from the spirit world which you will ever have to deal with, and you will see why:

Mark 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

So, Jesus heard voices from Satan himself, and the voice came through one of his beloved disciples. He rejected them both, and he went on to the cross and died right on schedule. He finished his work, and you and I are on our way to heaven because he was not seduced by voice from Satan in Peter.

Again, what if you do hear voices? And, what if the voice of Satan comes through those you love, or from an alleged "man of God?" Get on down the road to victory. If the voice will not go away, rebuke Satan, and the human shill of Satan, soundly.

The most grievous offenses in my experience, and based on email from readers here, are from Charismatic and Fundamental Baptist preachers and evangelists. They are forever saying, "The Lord showed me that you need to blah blah blah blah." When a car salesman says, "Trust me," run for cover.

When a preacher tells you, "God showed me that you need to .....," get out of Dodge fast. What follows is almost always from Satan himself.

One of the most pervasive and perverted cults in all of Christendom is the Mormon Church. If some idiot long ago had walked away from Joseph Smith and rebuked him soundly, we might not have this blasphemous Satanic monster stalking the world today.

SO, CAN WE HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD?

It is easy to understand the lust of men to hear voices. We are thinking talking people. The animal kingdom barks and squeaks and chatters, but they have no conversations based on history, philosophy, emotions, and highly developed life principles. Animals "converse" for survival only, and in the immediate present only. The cat purrs because it is being pampered. The dog growls because a stranger approaches. The rooster crows to tell all the other roosters nearby to stay away from his harem of hens. Two roosters crowing is not a conversation-- it is a war to see who gets the hens. When baboons bark, they are not discussing the price of tea in China-- they are keeping touch with every member of the troop to make sure none get lost or are attacked. If a bark is missing, one of the three big buck leaders will scurry over to see where that baboon is, and that is as far as animal conversation goes.

Animals of various sorts can thrive when totally isolated and alone. Man can be driven mad by being totally alone for too long. I have read stories of men who went to the wilderness and lived alone for years. When they come back to town, they are weird, they have lost their social graces, and they can only flee back to the wilderness. They have lost something the Creator gave them in their very being, and they cannot relate to their own kind any longer. Man needs to talk to his friends in order to survive.

Ben Lilly was a famous tracker, a reader of sign, but more notable for his killing of bears and mountain lions for the ranchers in the early days of the Southwestern USA. One day, after weeks of tracking and killing mountain lions, Ben Lilly was rousting about his camp doing his chores, and he let loose some exclamation. He jumped violently at his own voice. He then realized he had not spoken a word for weeks. This caused him to do a bit of a panic, and he packed up and went to the nearest town to guard his mind against becoming deformed by too much time alone. Lilly did not want to become permanently altered by lack of human contact. And, conversation was what he suddenly craved. When with people, Ben Lilly was not the silent type. He chattered, carried on and loved good company and swapping yarns.

If the world ended as we know it, and one man was left alone, he would go mad in short order. There better be one more person who survives. All of these end-of-the-world movies we have seen over the last 70 years always have another person living after the conflagration is over, and the other one is always of the opposite sex of course. Even Hollywood gives some twisted glory to God by admitting that Adam needs Eve.

Man is created in the image of God, and he aspires to conversation with his kind, other humans. But even more, he reaches eagerly into the very presence of God seeking to converse with the Godhead. Man, if he is not in a fallen state, has the urge to be with his divine friend and creator. Man came into existence ex nihilo, out of nothing, and he has been talking and waxing eloquent ever since. Man craves feed back from other men, but even more so from God.

And as he drives to work he says, if I may be a bit trite, "My Father which art in heaven, can we have a little chat this morning. You see, I am on my way to work, and that fellow under my authority has finally gone too far. The company told me to fire him this morning first thing because he did the same stupid thing again. Father, I like this guy, and I would like to save him from destruction. Father, he has a wife at home and four kids. Father, is there any way I can save him and not look like I am destroying the company?"

And, by God the Holy Spirit in us, and by his Word which we read faithfully, God answers. He may also answer through a godly friend.

You never caught a toad, monkey, or baboon having such a conversation with anyone, let alone with God. So, how do we talk to God AND hear God's voice speaking back to us?

 

Moses and the Burning Bush

Moses saw a bush on fire, and he went to check it out because it did not burn up. God then spoke to Moses out of the burning bush. This was clearly a one off event. It nowhere happens again in the Bible accounts with other men of God. So, forget about hearing from God from burning bushes. Put the fire out at once.

 

Jesus in Person with the Disciples on the Road to Emmaus

After his resurrection, Jesus appeared with two of his disciples who were from Emmaus. They were discouraged because Jesus had died, and they did not understand that he would raise from the dead. Jesus walked along and talked with them explaining how the Bible prophets of old had predicted his death, and he explained to them that he would raise from death again. At first Jesus concealed his identity to them. They were enlightened by his teaching, but they did not recognize him yet. The two disciples asked Jesus to lodge with them and eat supper with them. He agreed, and at supper he did this:

Luke 24:30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Jesus had to establish his resurrection as fact, so he made several appearances, actually, nearly 500. This was so that the faith of those who had followed him before his crucifixion would be renewed. Once convinced, they would believe and go out and preach the Gospel to the world. You have the Bible as the voice of God for you, and you will not have the experience of Jesus physically walking along teaching you. You need nothing more than what he gave you-- the Bible.

Are we stuck with "the voice of one crying in the wilderness.....?" Is the man in the pulpit the only voice of God I will ever hear? Is my wife the voice of God to me? Am I God's voice to her? Is there a voice for me just as distinct and literal as the voice Moses heard from the burning bush?

We had a friend who was trying to decide if he should move his family from Massachusetts to Michigan. One day he saw a car driving along in Boston where he lived which had a Michigan bumper sticker that said, "SAY YES TO MICHIGAN." He at once decided that was his sign to move to Michigan. You better have a better relationship with God than reading bumper stickers my friend.

Understand this please-- God uses only his Word, and other Christians, to speak to you today. If you start thrashing around trying to find God under a rock, or in some sign, you will go astray.

 

There is a better way:

Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The prophet Isaiah is telling Israel what life will be like in the coming Kingdom of Messiah. And, it is very clear that spiritual guidance will come from two sources:

1. Verse 20- From Israel's teachers.

2. Verse 21- From the voice of God from behind. This metaphor clearly implies that spiritual guidance in the future Kingdom will be exactly as it is now in the Church Age, that is, the voice of God speaking through the teachers of the Word of God, and the voice of the Holy Spirit in the believing Jews.

Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

It has been my observations that the Charismatic leaders I have watched, as they claimed to receive a revelations or visions from the Lord, are money grubbing charlatans. I also have seen Charismatics who were not so famous give revelations or "a word from the Lord," and they too were vain silly woman and pompous fool men. The only prophecies or revelations I have ever heard that could possibly come to pass were paraphrases of prophecies already given in the Bible. David Wilkerson's visions were all elaborations on prophetic Bible teaching of the future. These alleged prophets make a good living running around prophesying to gullible fools who don't read their Bibles, so they think what they hear is something fresh from the throne of God himself.

The Word of God does one thing well, and you need not hear voices or be visited by an angel to get the message. The Word of God convinces men of sin. Rather than crave a voice from heaven, you would do well to read your Bible faithfully, and listen to the voice in you-- the voice of the Holy spirit convicting you of sin.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

In the Old Testament era we do read of miraculous visions and visits of God in an audible voice. The Angel of the Lord visited Abraham in the persons of two men to tell him about the coming destruction of Sodom. But, David was content to read God's Word and receive all of his guidance from the Word alone. Ironically, David had only the five books of the Law of Moses, and he may have had the book of Job. But, he expressed no feeling of lacking guidance from God in what he had as written revelation.

So, you have 66 books in your Bible, and you need a vision, a mystical visitation, or a voice from the sky? You fool. You are, in your craving for special revelation, denying the power of the Word of God to be your guide. And, you are mocking at the Holy Spirit who is given to you to be the still small voice from within. You need to repent of your arrogance and open that old black backed King James Bible, and read, read, read.

Acts 16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

The Holy Spirit gave the Apostle Paul a vision to go the Macedonia to be a witness to those people. Why did Paul get visions, and we do not? The answer is simple. Paul did not have the complete Bible as we have it today. The Holy Spirit had not yet even moved men to compile all of the Gospels and epistles into one volume as authoritative. There were even several alleged Gospels floating around which the Holy Spirit lead church leaders later to reject. And, there were letters, which we call epistles, to the churches which were possibly useful and even used of God, but some of them were not later approved by the Holy Spirit as inspired. So, it was around 300 AD that the whole canon of the books of the Bible was established as we now have it. Paul did not have the whole Bible which you have.

So, God gave the men in this early era of the Church occasional visions and prophecies to guide the Church until the final authoritative Bible was compiled. But, you are an exception, right? And, your favorite guru on TBN is also an exception I gather. You and your favorite vision peddler are permitted by God the Holy Sprit to put your Bible away and get visions, prophecies, and "a word" directly from God that you believe is even more potent truth than the Bible itself. You arrogant brat. You are blaspheming the Holy Spirit, if you are even born again, by claiming you need more than the Word of God to receive his Truth and direction for your life.

In the context of this whole article, I warn you severely to NOT give significance to audible voices you hear which sound like they came from God. Also, when you experience anything which is beyond natural explanation, you must assume it is designed by devils, or creepy humans, or it is nature showing you a phenomenon and nothing more.

Why were Signs and Wonders given to the Early Church?

In the book of Acts, chapter 2, signs and wonders were manifest to Jews from all over the world who came to celebrate Pentecost. After the signs and wonders, which were not said to be the Word of God, Peter then stood up and exalted the Word of God and told them of the fulfillment of the prophecy in Joel 2. Even when God was still giving signs and wonders and tongues, the preaching of the Word was the final authority.

We now have no signs. Read that again. Paul taught that signs, tongues, visions, and prophecies would pass away in I Corinthians 13.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

That which is perfect clearly refers to the day when the complete canon of the Bible was established. That did not happen until long after the death of all the Apostles, and then a church counsel, far in advance of the Roman Catholic Church, set the canon of Scripture for all time. After that event, all tongues, prophecies, and revelatory knowledge ceased. Church history has absolutely no record of tongues speaking and revelation added. The Catholic Church claims their saints performed miracles, but virtually every one of these accounts has turned out to be myth and fabrication.

As to tongues, there actually was one instance after the Apostles were gone. In about 250 AD an ego maniac named Montanus claimed a revelation from God as to the rapture of the Church. He also spoke in tongues, and then told the people to sell all they owned and climb a mountain on a certain day. The day came and went, the rapture did not come, and the people returned home beggars. That was the ONLY tongues speaking from the end of the Apostolic Church Age until 1900. In that year a Black preacher in Azuza, California stuck his head in a butter box and came out chattering in tongues.

Seventeen hundred yeas is a long time to go without the alleged glorious gift of tongues. The fact is, all tongues speaking since 1900 has been either faked or inspired by devils.

Again, I want to emphasize that, in the first Church in the Bible, speaking in tongues was not the main event as it is in Charismatic groups today. Verse 31 makes it very clear that the main message was the Word of God which could have been preached without the shaking of the room.

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Is the Word of God enough for you to hear from God daily? Do you crave "something more?" If so, you are a blasphemer, and Satan waits at your right hand to give you many voices, charming you ever so sweetly, with lots of "thees" and "thous," and damned rubbish it is also. You will make a giant jack ass of yourself over and over again until you flee back to the voice of God which is....

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And, if God does not speak, and if in searching your heart for sin you find nothing, could you please use your own mind, which God has renewed, to move forward until God the Holy Spirit shuts the door or blocks the way?

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

So, you have a new mind, a mind recreated by God himself, and you want to see a big digital bill board flashing God's will to you instead.

Earlier in this article we talked about the missionary couple who moved forward not receiving a mystical voice of God. They wanted to be missionaries to Jews in France. They might have gone to France to language school to learn French. There are many there. But, they chose to go to Montreal to learn French, and God let them. Then, God shut the door to France, and they had to stay in Canada. Voile, GOD SPOKE. "Here is where I want you." As you recall, Montreal had thousands of Jews living there, and they became missionaries to them.

Our problem in the Lord's Church today is not that God is tired of talking to us. Our problem is this-- We, as spoiled brats of the last era of the Church Age, have stopped memorizing and reading God's Word personally. We think going to church two or three times a week is all the Word of God we need. So, six days between Sundays, God is trying to communicate with us, and we are out blundering along without his help.

How would you feel and look if you ate only three big meals on Sunday, and one large meal Wednesday evening? You would be miserable and lack energy much of the time. That is YOU if you are not in the Word of God every day. No wonder you are seduced so easily by alien voices.

The degrading and filthying of the Lord's Bride in the last 100 years has been in direct proportion to an evolving disinterest in the reading and preaching of the Word of God. And, along with this, in the same 100 years, has evolved more and more signs and wonders obsession. Satan has done well. He has given the rebel sheep many signs and wonders, and the sheep are filthy snot nosed brats lusting for more thrills and a bigger show at the mega church.

And, what has happened to this modern age Whore church?

Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

You say, "The Lord showed me something in a vision last night. Do you want to know what he said?"

And, I tell you, "Take your Satanic filth, you wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked Whore, and peddle it to some devil. I want nothing to do with the voices you hear from the other side."

I must say this more bluntly because Bible reading is possibly the single most lost experience of the average alleged Christian today. Thus.....

IT IS A PERVERSE AND DAMNABLE GENERATION WHICH REFUSES TO CRACK THE BIBLE ONCE BETWEEN SUNDAYS.

HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD IF YOU DUCT TAPE HIS MOUTH CLOSED?

Look at your Bible? There he is, the living Word, your Father, "which art in heaven," waiting to talk to you. Do you even have your Bible out where you can reach it? You have six remotes so you can manage the voice of Hollywood, Drudge, and the media. You are very careful about what you watch, but your Bible..... where is it?

"Never mind-- I will turn on some Charismatic prophet, or Paul Washer, Gush Limbaugh, or Alex Jones..... maybe God will speak to me through one of them."

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

EXAMPLE:
Here is a teacher who is being followed by people with itching ears and a closed Bible.

A CLASSIC MODERN PROPHECY and, Here is a cult exposure on this Timothy. He is a destroyer and a creep, and a whole mob of fools follow him to hell. This is a classic example of idiots closing their Bibles and seeking the voice of God in a man.

Will you listen to these, or will you go to the Word of God in order to hear the voice of God?

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
