INTRODUCTION

Modern society, especially the media and politicians, now use the word EVIL in a careless rabid way. This has caused our whole culture to chatter about how Hillary Clinton is evil, Ebola is evil, and, "These mosquitoes are evil." None of the three may qualify for the word EVIL except Hillary, but then, only in that she shares the same damning spiritual disease we all suffer.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

So, who is evil?

W. H. Auden said, "Evil is unspectacular and always human, and it shares our bed and eats at our own table."

You never saw an evil beast.

Having grown up in Africa, I must say that baboons have some very strange behavior which borders on evil. A bunch of missionary kids were on a field trip to a game reserve in Kenya one day, and I was day dreaming in the back of the stake bed truck as we kids stood and looked out at the plains and game.

But, I noticed that the girls were all looking out one side of the truck, and the boys were looking out the other side and snickering. I looked, and there was a whole tree full of baboons, and they were pooping in their hands and throwing at one another and screaming blue murder. It is hard to see this as some natural process of nature in which poop throwing is essential to the survival of the species.

But, my problem was this-- I assigned sin to the baboons because throwing poop at one another is generally considered a bit evil in the human social order. There are exceptions where this may be acceptable, such as in the British Parliament, and in the US Senate and House or Representatives. Throwing poop seems to be the way business gets done. At the end of the day, everyone leaves the chamber and pretends to be civilized once again.

But, we must agree with Auden above. Evil is 100% associated with humanity. Many of the things people do to one another would never be seen in nature. The animal world would find no reason for them. The children in Sierra Leon can see only one explanation for the enforcers chopping off their hands-- EVIL. No animal would think of gnawing off the feet or paws of another animal and then simply walking off. Either the animal would not imagine it, or the animal would finish the job and make a full meal of the victim. Hunger is the driving force, not evil, not hate, and not torture in the name of Allah.

Chopping off hands may actually be seen as a perfectly legitimate means of evangelism to a radical Muslim. It is a great incentive to others in the tribe to convert, bow to Mecca, and be given the right hand of fellowship. In a Fundamental Baptist model the victim is hounded to walk the aisle of the local Baptist church, and when it becomes clear he will not, he is marked openly by the flame breathing pastor, "We will be withholding our business with that pagan businessman." While the punishment is not nearly as severe, the evil urge is manifest nonetheless. Nowhere did Jesus or the Apostle Paul order Christians to punish the unconverted by boycotting their business.

Alas, I fear we are already on a bit of a rabbit trail. We need to find the first mention of evil in the Bible. The principle of first and last mention in the Bible is very important.

WHERE DID EVIL COME FROM

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Man was created BEFORE the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree of the knowledge of evil was also included in the garden God planted in Eden. So, it would seem that God provided evil as an option. Why?

Something is implied here that is startling. Adam did not know what "good" was. Adam only knew one thing- who God was. Adam was given the option of never knowing either good or evil. Why did he not need to know what was good? Simply this- there was no evil against which to contrast good. Before Adam fell, everything in the whole creation, including Adam himself, was perfect, not just good.

Verse 15 tells us that Adam had just one vocation-- he was a gardener for God. It was God's garden.

In Verse 17 God adds the penalty to his law not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. No law is at all valid without a penalty attached. Many court cases, some criminal, have been dropped because no penalty was attached to the law when it was enacted. The penalty of eating of that tree was death. But, worse, up to the day of death was the penalty of having to live in a world where everyone else was dying, and they all knew how to do evil. God did not explain these consequences for the simple reason that, in his initial state of perfection, Adam could in no way appreciate the world with other evil people in it.

Finally, in verse 18, we see that God decided Adam should not be alone. So, God created what we today say was "Adam's other half." It is not possible for a man to be the "other half" of a man. Male and female created he them. And, God had no intention for men and women to confound that plan.

So, the first mention of evil is assigned to God. God did not CAUSE evil in the world, but he introduced evil as an option to Adam and Eve. The Calvinist struggles with this, and he eventually has to claim that God WANTED Evil in the world. If he did not want evil in the world, why let his fallen angel come along and advertise all the benefits of knowing good and evil?

The Bible believer who has not caught the disease of John Calvin finds no evil in God. He thus assumes that the way in which God made Adam in the image of God was so that Adam could eternally share God's rejection of evil and live forever satisfied with perfection. The tree had to be there so that Adam would have choice, contrary to another false teaching of John Calvin.

So, if you want to blame someone for the existence of evil as an option in the world, blame God. But, if you want to blame someone for introducing the knowledge of evil into the human race, that would be Adam and Eve.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

The Serpent lied to Eve, and he told her there were tremendous advantages in knowing both good and evil. Eve, all by herself, determined that the fruit was good to eat, was pleasant to look at, and would make her wise. She then, all by herself, ate the fruit. And, Adam went right along with her. And, they indeed became wise to good and evil.

"Hey, Eve, you are naked and indecent."

"Well, what about you big boy, you are naked as a jay bird."

And, they went into the clothing business.

There was no one else in the Garden to see them, but their alleged wisdom now distinguished them from all the animals which had no clothes, and they became self-conscious in the presence of God. There are people living in the Amazon jungles who wear virtually nothing. This was also true all over Africa about 130 years ago. But, in all my inquiry into African customs while living in Africa, I never heard of a tribe of people who were 100% naked. The women might have nothing on but a string around their waist with some charm hanging on it, but if that was missing, they became embarrassed and self-conscious. In some tribes the men had nothing but some bark cloth wrapped around their genitals. We would say that is virtually nothing, but to those people, they felt clothed.

Nakedness is a symbol, in the Bible and in life in general, of decadence and debauchery. It is an indication that evil is present.

Luke 8:27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.
35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Verse 27 indicates that the devils in the man made him naked. When you see any art, a movie, or performance which involves nakedness, you are seeing the work of devils, and you are seeing an effort by those devils to invite you to participate in evil.

Verse 35 tells us that once the man was delivered of devils, he was found sitting at the feet of Jesus, in his right mind, and clothed.

All of this discussion tells us the evil entered when man wanted to be more wise than God made him. Man became wise by breaking the one and only law God gave him. And, man at once felt evil due to his nakedness.

Innocence is at stake here. Adam and Eve were originally naked and innocent. Once they "got wise," they lost their innocence. Thus, I conclude that man is totally unlike the animals, in that, man has lost his innocence by doing evil.

This is why the devil possessed Liberal Movement in the world, and especially in the White Race nations, want to destroy innocence in young children. They want to teach them to use condoms by rolling a condom onto a banana, while the boys in the class do not have the maturity to get an erection. They are thus unable to imagine what is going on. The Liberal devils in our society want to let sodomites come into class rooms and introduce the possibility that boys are girls inside, and girls are boys inside. An innocent child can be lead along until he thinks this is fun and maybe he would like that. Sodomites cannot have children, so they have to recruit them.

This is EVIL being peddled as wisdom just as it was in the Garden of Eden by the huckster of wickedness, Lucifer.

The only thing that has changed the infiltration of evil deeper into the human experience is technology. When a young man wanted to peek at a naked girl, he used to have to sneak around to some home nearby and try to peek through the curtains. There were consequences then also. The Daddy of the girl might catch the young man and fill his britches with buckshot. Today, the young man can make about four clicks online and be watching things we never imagined could be done 60 years ago. The only difference is technology.

Long ago, the king went forth to war with his soldiers, and they massacred men, women, and children by hundreds. Today, the king, or President, sits in his Oval Office, makes one phone call, and Hiroshima and Nagasaki are blown off the map-- millions are killed.

"We had a great day at the war today, Bill, let the foursome ahead of us putt through so we don't make them nervous."

So, evil will be with us yet for a long time, and it will become more pernicious and more vicious.

DEFINITIONS

EVIL-
Only used as a noun or adjective. Evil is never an action. It is the result of an action and is often a state of being. To know about evil is not evil. In the case of Adam and Eve and their knowing good and evil, they had to rebel against God and eat the fruit, that is, they sinned, before they knew evil.

SIN-
Sin is an act of rebellion or offense against God or man which is then defined as Evil. Sinner is the word we use as a noun to decide who did evil.

LAW-
Rule or regulation of God or man. The law of gravity is the law of God because he created it. Walk off of a cliff, and you will receive the consequences of breaking the law of God. The law has penalties attached by God, and these are applied to the law breaker, guilty of sin, having done evil, and the penalty is self-evident.

WICKED-
This is a noun, adjective, or adverb, but it is never a verb. It is very much like evil, but wickedness often raises the accusation to the highest extreme. While evil is a bit mysterious, wickedness is not. Evil is potential, while wickedness is the result of indulging in evil and spreading evil around.

These definitions are no trick to determine, for they are in the soul of all of humanity. The details are simply in emphasis and in the conscience of fallen man. All men deal with evil, sin, and law in one form or another.

EVIL AS WE DEFINE IT IN MODERN SOCIETY

Here is a list of reasons people have given to explain evil behavior:

Because it gives them pleasure
Because it gives them power
Because they don't know any better
Because they are afraid of their victims
Because they they believe the evil they are doing is
righteous, or good, or necessary
Because they are indifferent to the suffering of others
Because they are too morally stupid to recognize the evil
they are doing
Because they are forced to do it by people holding power
over them
Because they are caught in a mob's frenzy
Because they feel a perverse itch to do harm and it occurs
to them that they may do so
Because it is customary among their people, and not to do
it would be a breach of community tradition or ceremony
Because it is an accident
Because they are habituated to it
Because they themselves were treated evilly once
Because Satan or his devils make them do evil

Some of these are obvious, while others are very obscure and hard to determine. One question that is being asked by many people is, "Are evil people predestined to do evil acts by their genetics, by a mind twisted by environment or parental conditioning, or is evil the work of the US Military with mind controlling devices, which DO exist. Just Google the topic on the Internet.

People of any faith also wonder if God may ordain evil acts, and does Satan possess people so thoroughly that he can force them to do great evil? We have evidence in the Word of God that Satan can indeed drive people to do evil.

I think we all have wondered about some murders. Would the murderer have done the evil act if some outside factors had not be present in his life? If so, how much is he really guilty of premeditation, which is supposed to be taken into account in any court trial. And again, if a person were under external and unfair assault by powers and some evil attack on his mind, is he totally responsible for his acts? This last question is rarely asked by conservative Bible believers because they refuse to consider that there are evil people who might attack a victim, trying to drive him to do violent evil acts, so that he is destroyed or ends up in prison or a mental institution. I personally believe this will be very common soon as the US Government makes electronic devices which can drive their victims to the most bizarre actions. When criminals get their hands on such devices, all hell will break loose. I have posted links to videos dealing with this subject at the end of this article.

Imagine sitting in a church service, and suddenly everyone starts vomiting or taking their clothes off. Imagine the pastor abandoning his sermon and doing some obscene sexual act. These things are now possible using US Military devices, and we now have men who are EVIL in the US Military who want to play with their toys. They are very likely being used in the Middle East as I write. And, there is no legal structure in place to criminalize these devices if used to do evil. Combined with a drone, the possibilities to force people to do evil acts by mind control is frightening.

Too many things in modern society have been made officially evil by the media and Big Nanny Government.

The majority of people have been propagandized into believing all sorts of rather mundane troubles in life are serious acts of evil. Witness male spreading on the New York subways, cracking racial jokes, even on your own race, denying Climate Change, and many other such things ye do.

So, we need to be careful that we do not trivialize Auschwitz and the Gulag, and the beheadings by the Islamic State, by making male spreading evil. It is rude. It is unkind. It is many things, but male spreading is NOT evil.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROFANE AND THE HOLY

Ezekiel 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.

God only wants us to have only two categories in this life into which we sort things. There is no third option. All things are either profane, or they are holy, and there is no gray area.

Verse 23- The problem most Bible believers have is to understand what the word "profane" means.

"lh" chol khole- properly, exposed; hence, profane:--common, profane (place), unholy.
Strong's Concordance and other sources

Verse 23- In this verse the "profane" covers anything common, that is, not holy. The word "profane" includes sinful things which are quite obvious, but it also covers bananas. Bananas are not holy, neither are cabbages, but they are not evil. A study of the English meaning of "profane" will help. The King James Bible translators chose this word wisely.

Profane- Derived from the Latin, pro fanum.
Pro- Before. Fanum- The temple.
This implies anything not IN the temple in ancient Rome. Or, anything not sacred or sacral. That would include the people outside the temple as well as anything else not inside the temple.

This is also the same context of distinction of holy and profane in the Temple in the Old Testament. In old Israel this would mean anything not consecrated to Jehovah. Again, that would have included the Gentiles, and God specified that the Gentiles had a court outside the temple where they must stay because they were profane. Once they declared their God would be Jehovah, they were holy and could enter the temple court.

Thus, a Greek who came to the temple of the Jews in Jesus' day was profane. If he declared the faith in Jehovah, and declared he wanted to be one of the people of God, he could enter the temple court. But, the figs in that Greek's pocket were still profane or common. God made no laws about carrying figs into the temple court yard.

Get this straight though. "Common" does not mean neutral. Neutral implies that we do not have to decide about that. On the contrary, nothing in this life is neutral. That is why, in the Messianic Kingdom in the near future, Christ will appoint the priests to teach ALL of humanity to examine all things on earth and in their personal lives. They will allow no gray areas, and no neutral areas.

Verse 24 tells you the standard for distinguishing the holy from the profane-- The Word of God. To hell with what your unsaved friends, your saved friends, and your own notions tell you. The final authority is the Word of God, and herein is the rub. We do not want to see things God's way from the perspective of the old nature.

So, what is holy, and what is profane? I will try to help us all understand.

HOLY	PROFANE

Now, the problem is that middle column, right? Nothing in the HOLY column dares to come up for alteration. To add the PROFANE to the HOLY column is EVIL. The common, even evil, genre of rock music must NEVER be used in the HOLY side to carry the message. And the fact that you got the masses and asses to fill the pews by making that compromise is EVIL logic.

I happen to like Big Band music. I did not visit the Aragon Ballroom or the Palladium in the 1940s to dance to Glenn Miller's Orchestra. I was still wetting my diaper. So, Big Band music to me is just music. But, it is profane, common. So is stride piano, the genre of Southern Gospel Music. MORE ON THIS HERE But, since Big Band music is at least COMMONLY PROFANE, I will not ever let it mix with the HOLY. That, for me, includes listening to it on Sunday, the Lord's Day. Am I compromising? That is none of your business.

You see, every Bible believer needs to be convinced IN HIS SOUL, not in his pastor's laws, what is HOLY, what is PROFANE COMMON, and what is PROFANE EVIL. The only thing left to discuss is, "How does my standard for me conflict with YOU, not all the Christians and churches in the world. And, I have no interest in the student handbook of Bob Jones University, Crown College, or Pensacola Christian College.

But, this I do worry about at times.

1 Corinthians 8:9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

Back to my example above, Big Band music. I used to have a very collectable Glenn Miller LP record back in the 1960s. When I played it, my Dad got a look of discomfort on his face, so I stopped playing it when he was around. Is that compromise? Not al all. You see, my Dad was an unsaved young man back during the Big Band era, and he and his brothers used to go to the Big Band ball rooms and dance. That place, after my Dad became a born again Christian, became repulsive, and the music gave him unpleasant flash backs.

Now, I had not such flashbacks, and I still don't. But, my liberty to enjoy Big Band music as PROFANE COMMON, the same way I enjoy Bach or Handel, was NOT the standard. Your liberty is NOT any sort of safe standard. The Bible text above tells me that I MUST forego the fun of Big Band music when anyone would have flashbacks to their old life and be tempted to use me as an excuse to return to what they (not me) had in the EVIL column.

So, the sorting of the HOLY and the PROFANE, with its two possibilities, is not very simple in itself. But, when we walk in the light, as he, Christ, is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin. Our job is to sort, and resort, regularly in order to protect those in our fellowship.

If you know you are weak in your conscience, stop limping around telling people they offend you. GET STRONG. Grow up in your knowledge of the Word, and stop wearing your sanctification on your sleeve.

Now, I have an assignment for you. I want you to get a sheet of paper, divide it into three columns, put the three category labels at the top, and think about what you have in which column. After you think you have it all figured out, put the paper aside, and pray this prayer:

Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Now, examine the paper again please.

In other words, is there ANYTHING in the HOLY column that should be in one of the two profane columns?

Is there ANYTHING in the PROFANE COMMON column that should be in the PROFANE EVIL column?

Hey, stop whining. If you do not want a Bible teacher to mess with your stuff, get out of his web journal :-)

One more thing that needs dealing with-- ANOINTED.

This word is used ad nauseam by Pentecostals and Charismatics. The guitar is anointed, the singer is anointed, the song is anointed, and the chocolate pie is anointed. Blah blah blah. Only that which God has anointed is holy, and everything else is profane common or profane evil. Stop this blasphemous rubbish talk of trying to throw bananas and Swiss steak into the Holy of Holies.

Now, go do the right thing.

Any other thing is EVIL.

SO, IS GOD RESPONSIBLE FOR EVIL

As Islamic State terrorists burn a young woman to punish her for not accepting her worthy destiny of being ritually gang raped, they scream, "Allah u Akbar," by which they mean, Allah has commissioned us to burn this woman alive because Allah loves to see her suffer.

As Cotton Mather and his Puritan friends burned young women at the stake in early New England, they called on God to look on their zeal with approval. After all, the women were willfully empowered by Satan, and Mather and his friends were taking their stand against evil.

John Calvin, the patron of all Reformed theology today, had Servitus burned at the stake in Geneva, Switzerland with green wood so he would die slowly and suffer the wrath of God most exquisitely (Leonard Verduin). The crime which needed to be paid by being burned with fire was the Servitus could not quite get the doctrine of the sovereignty of God right. Calvin then spent the rest of his life writing pamphlets trying to explain to Sabastian Colstellio, and other Reformed ministers, why he had to burn a professing Christian to death. AND, to this day I have heard Calvinists try to justify Calvin simply because they are inebriated on his theology and needed to justify their guru.

It is uncanny how, from our Lutheran and Presbyterian friends, to cannibals along the Congo River, God is seen as looking lovingly on his servants as they do extremely evil acts. Adolph Hitler went to great lengths to cultivate the approval of both the Lutheran Church of Germany and the Roman Catholic Church of Rome. And, for the record, both churches approved of Hitler.

In trying to cover for God, Reformed Theologian RC Sproul Jr. tells us, "I am not accusing God of sinning. I am suggesting God created sin." If Sproul is right, then the Islamic State can rape and burn people alive with great consolation. As (Reformed theologian) Geraldine, in Flip Wilson's TV monologue, said, "The devil made me do it."

Sproul is lying. Flip Wilson is lying. God did not create sin, and Satan never forced anyone to sin. God created a tree capable of giving man the knowledge of good and evil. Sproul does what all Reformed theologians love to do, that is, blame God for man's sin. Adam was thus the first Reformed theologian, and God was not impressed:

Genesis 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

Adam blamed God for his sin, and Eve blamed the Devil. At that point they had run out of people to blame. Well, not quite, you may tell me, and you are right. They could have owned up to their rebellion against God and blamed themselves. And, Adam and Eve instructed us all in the evil of blame. God punished them both with suffering and struggle through the rest of their lives, and he told them they would die instead of live forever. The court did not recuse itself because it was in complicity with the criminals. God did not create sin, and RC Sproul thus becomes a blasphemer of God Almighty. I must note that, when any man tries to put the blame on God for sin in the world, there is great evil in that man, and he hopes that he can intimidate God into groveling in shame while that man does his evil acts.

We need to deal with the truth in recent Christian history-- Reformed theology is the foundation on which all modern rebel Christians build their case against God as to evil. It is only by the grace of God that many god fearing men, beginning with Sabastian Costellio in Calvin's day, now speak the truth in love:

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

We end this discussion of blame with a look at the fall of Lucifer, Satan, from heaven to earth. Did God create sin in Satan"

Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

It is very clear that sin made its debut in Satan, not in God, not even in God's imagination. In some sense we could say that God did not know sin and evil until it welled up in the soul of Lucifer well before the creation of earth and man. It is the height of arrogance to find a way to blame God for sin. For his temerity, I must suggest that RC Sproul seems to me to be in line for eternal damnation for turning on God and making him a sinner. I say this because those who make God a scapegoat for sin are damned also in God's court of justice.

Luke 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

To lift blame from man for sin, and to assign blame to God, as if he intentionally caused Adam to "stumble," is to make God the very personification of evil and worthy of eternal damnation. When a judge is found to be guilty of murder, he is no longer qualified to preside over the adjudication of murderers. It is an innate understanding in all of humanity that a man who is a sinner must not be allowed to judge other men. Be very careful, my friend, whose books you read on theology. Theology is a discipline invented by man, and it may not do faithful service to God.

WHY DO THE PEOPLE OF GOD DO EVIL?

Why does God not eradicate evil in a person the moment they confess faith in Jesus Christ. It would seem that this would be a great incentive for the wicked to confess faith in Jesus Christ.

Evil thoughts are the downfall of all men, and this includes Christians.

Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Is there a more blunt statement on thoughts leading to evil acts.

Proverbs 23:6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Solomon warns us of this sort of men, and Solomon was talking about his neighbors who were Jews, not Philistines. What we learn is that, while we may be faking a pious and loving face, and good manners, what we are thinking will soon determine if good or evil prevails. A pastor may show real heartfelt feeling for the sorrows of some young woman in the local church, but his mind is on her bust line, and the present counseling session will soon end in the bedroom.

Evil events are the harvest taken, by and by, from a field sown in evil thoughts.

WHY DOES EVIL NOT GO AWAY?

Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Verse 7 tells us that Jesus anticipated that offenses will come. It is impossible to wear evil down in this world as it now is. This is not because God went on vacation. It is because man chooses to turn his back on God and his holiness.

The world came to the end of World War II having seen, in the recent past, the horrors of Treblinka, the Gulag, the Armenian massacre, Dachau, Auschwitz, Hiroshima, and Nanking. But, no, the world did not abandon evil. People who condoned the evil of that era may have felt bad and repented of their complicity. But, evil shifted a bit geographically, and we came to Pol Pot, Rwanda, the Mau Mau, Bosnia, Ukraine, and Guantanamo. We have arrived at the point where the nation which delivered Europe from evil in WW II, the United States, has taken up the same tactics that Adolph Hitler used- the torture of Middle Eastern suspects in a cozy isolated corner of Cuba-- Guantanamo. And, most Americans justify Guantanamo just as stupidly and eagerly as most Germans justified Hitler. The most wretched thing I have heard is to be gathered with Bible believers and hear them condone Guantanamo. Of course, they will be horrified when torture comes to their church one day. You see, those US soldiers who are torturing Arabs in Guantanamo are developing a lust to torture someone. When they come home, they will be easy for the US Government to recruit to torture Bible believers.

Why do we keep doing the same horrible things over and over again?

Evil men have a deep urge to insinuate themselves into the lives of the righteous and the innocent. This is why sodomite men join Christian churches and volunteer to work in children's ministries. They get a rush out of just being in charge of their potential victims, and given opportunity, they will introduce sodomy to the little boys.

President Harry Truman went to Potsdam to have talks with Joseph Stalin and other European leaders. Truman knew better than any of us the hell of torture and incarceration Stalin foisted upon his own Russian people. Truman knew that, given half a chance, Stalin would have done the same to the whole world, especially the USA. But, Truman sat for hours and chatted and bargained with Stalin. Why would he even give Stalin the time of day? In his diary Truman wrote, "Stalin is a fellow I can work with, though tough as hell."

Work with a mass murderer? How? The other option would have been to let Stalin have Europe, and eventually Stalin would have attacked the USA. So, Truman had the pathetic duty of dealing with a devil possessed man in order to try to take the high road in the years ahead. This, it would be hoped, would keep evil from breaking loose worldwide. And, Truman had just been told he had the atomic bomb in his pocket.

So, we cannot chase evil away by ignoring it. If a man is climbing my gate in the middle of the night, or cutting the barbed wire, the state of Texas tells me that I can shoot the man as soon as he hits the ground inside my fence. Whether or not I do shoot him will depend on how much evil I perceive. If I see that he is much larger than I, that is too much evil. If I see that he is carrying a gun, that is too much evil. I then measure my response so that I am not found to be evil later after my wife is raped by the man. Thus, my gun is loaded and standing in the corner. I would dearly love to pass that gun on to my son without using it for any other reason than to shoot doves, but God may allow the offense to come to me, and I must be found faithful as a defender. ".....it must needs be that offenses come."

The key to all of this discussion on why evil prevails is in verse 7 above- ".....woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!" Indeed, woe, and a load of buck shot followed by a special round for self-defense.

So, you can live in a gated community with a great police force, and you will be very safe. But, one day, a Black kid walks by you and hauls off and knocks you out cold, and all for the buzz of hitting Whitey. The offenses of evil will come by and by to all of us. But, Jesus makes it clear in the above text that YOU are responsible for your own faculties, and you are obligated to stop yourself from being an offense.

One of the most wicked things found in the Lord's Church is when someone says to another brother, "Brother, if I have offended you in any way, I want to apologize." If I had done that when I was growing up me Dad would have whipped me soundly. If you are an offense, name the offense if and when you confess sin against your brother. It is EVIL to put the thing back on him as if you are not sure if you actually offended him. He will then be tempted to lie, which is sin, and say, "No, you were not an offense to me." Now both of you are evil, and it all started with YOU.

That is why evil will not go away..... because of me, and because of you.

WHY DOES GOD LET EVIL PREVAIL?

We want to now look at God in particular. Why, with all his power, does he not eradicate evil?

A Black metal worker, who did heavy soldering work in New Jersey, had a girlfriend who was sneaking out on him. He finally caught her, and he went to her apartment. He tied her up to the bed, and he put his heavy electric soldering iron up her vagina, and turned it on. He then left the apartment and locked it.

The neighbors smelled something terrible, and finally called the police. One of the cops who arrived to break down the door and investigate was a neighbor of my parents in Arizona. He said the scene was beyond description. That event was the last crime he dealt with before retirement, and he moved far from Newark, New Jersey, which he had come to hate.

This is the sort of crime that the newspapers will not print, at least in the past. Today, the media are virtually fixated with the most gross evil and will print it all in order to deliver a feast of terror to the public. This is one of the ways in which Democracies finally destroy themselves. There is no king on high to say, "We will not talk about that."

Evil? Well, of course that crime was evil. But, with his infinite power, why didn't God step in and cause the man to drop dead?

The unconverted, Atheists, and certain Presidents mock at God for his low level of involvement in the affairs of men. But, if God slapped the bottle of beer, at least the fourth one, out of some good old boy's hand, that man would be raging mad and accuse God of revoking his free will. You cannot have free will and then blame God for your choices, Buster.

So, where have you decided God can jump right in and stop evil, and where can he not stop evil? I will tell you. Just short of you favorite sin. You still have free will, and you are only about four clicks away from raging porn on YouTube. God has your permission stop the guys who actually go have a virtual reality adulterous affair with some woman other than their wife, but he cannot come around to your house and blow up your computer, right?

So, if you do not know where God is allowed to operate, and where he is not allowed to operate, you are a real jack ass for whining at God for the evil you imagine he should stop. Atheists love to fault God for not stopping evil, but sometimes Bible believers also start wondering why God does not stop the things that bother them in the world.

You see, there was no evil before Adam fell in sin, but there was no good either.

Read that again please.

Please recall the first discussion above. God said that eating the fruit would bring the knowledge of evil AND good. Adam and Eve were perfect before they knew about good. Being good is not being perfect. Being good is the opposite of being evil, and if evil does not exist, we have no way to be good because evil is the measure. Evil is the opposite extreme of goodness.

So, if God wanted to stop all evil, he would have to stop all goodness. The only way he can do that is return all of humanity, not just a few, back to perfection. And then he would have to return Satan to his perfection to eliminate the Tempter.

There is only one way to do that, and that is through the Blood of Jesus Christ. His Blood washes away all sin, and the result is that the believer in Jesus Christ has a whole new standing before God in heaven:

Hebrews 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

When a saint is walking with God, with his sins ALL forgiven and put away, he has the opportunity of living beyond good. He is perfect in every good work. He is not good, the work is good, because everything he does is done through the power of Jesus Christ. So, the perfect God is manifest, at least for a while, in that saint.

For you silly asses who claim you can become perfect by your own zeal and reach a place of "sinless perfection," or, "entire sanctification," I have news for you.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Just when we are living in the perfection of Jesus Christ, along comes the flesh or the devil, and the old salesman in us says, "Look here now, here is something you know you need, and it will make your life more fun." Then, the old nature comes back into the picture, and we head off in that treacherous gray area between good and evil. The perfection of Jesus Christ evaporates at once, and we eventually feel naked before God. That is, if we are really born again. A truly born again Bible believer will always feel naked before God sooner of later. And, that believer will crave to be clothed in he righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel 33:12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

You cannot have it both ways.

So, back to the question, Why does God let Evil prevail?

God created you with the same free will that Adam had. When evil comes, it is in YOU, not God. Or, evil is in Adolph Hitler, or the torturers in Guantanamo, or the Muslim radicals cutting off the hands of children. Evil comes in only one variety my friend. You and I may grade evil and decide one sort of evil is worse than the other, but God sees all evil as one thing, and he hates it. Evil is a force waiting for the gate to be opened, and you and I decide whether or not to open that gate.

Do we hate evil in ourselves as much as we hate the evil of the Islamic State or cop killers?

WHAT WILL BE THE END OF EVIL?

The first family, in its second generation, saw a full 33% of that male generation murdered by another 33%. We are talking about Cain, Abel, and Seth. The daughters were not mentioned in the Bible. The end of evil will be during the Great Tribulation when 66% of the human race will be killed off by other humans and by the wrath of God. There is your solution to evil. Do you really want that now in your day? It could be messy my friend.

After that cleansing, Jesus Christ will rule in the world for one thousand years as the Messiah, and men will not have the choice to do evil. Christ will stop it all. After one thousand years of a world without evil, what will be the response of humanity?

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Just before hell is made the permanent habitation of all rebels of all time, Satan will be released, as he was in the beginning in Genesis 3, and he will seduce the vast majority of the world's population. I do not know the message Satan will preach, but I suspect we can surmise:

"Friends, I come not to murder the Messiah again but to exalt him. The problem is, Jesus Christ is not the Messiah. God has appointed me to enlighten the world, and if you exalt me I shall give you the knowledge of good and evil. You will then realize that this impostor Jesus Christ has totally enslaved you by claiming to give you peace while preventing you from enjoying yourselves. The only solution is war........ Blah, Blah, Blah."

Whenever I hear a leader of the USA tell us that we must go to war or be destroyed, I about puke. War is the ultimate evil, and I shall give you objective reason for saying that.

When the missionaries first entered one South American tribe, they were so badly hated and treated that they had to flee. Later, as World War II was cranking up hot, the missionaries went back. The natives welcomed them eagerly, and they soon were confessing faith in Jesus Christ in huge numbers. The missionaries asked them later why they acted so differently the second time the missionaries came to them. They told the missionary that one of their witch doctors realized that the devils were leaving their area in droves, and he asked a devil why. The devil told the witch doctor that there was a great war elsewhere in the world, and they all wanted to go participate.

America is now waging war 24/7 and finding every possible excuse to start new wars. Iran will be next. I am convinced that President Obama's handlers want the nuclear treaty with Iran. They know Iran will break it, and voile, they have an excuse then to go kill millions of Iranians. Netanyahu will cheer, and most of you will wave the flag and cheer. As millions of women and children are massacred in an Iranian "free fire zone," you will be praying in prayer meeting for, "Our brave troops in Iran." Ditto Iraq. Ditto Afghanistan. Ditto Syria. Ditto Libya.

If YOU are cheering for the massacre of woman and children in the Middle East by the soldiers of an alleged Christian nation called America, AND if you claim to be a born again Christian, what chance is there for unsaved leaders in this nation to stop the war lust in our halls of government? Zero. Most of our leader love war because weapons of war are almost our only remaining "made in USA" export item. So, we must use the weapons, prove they kill fast without the user being vulnerable, and we can thus sell those weapons to other killer nations.

When you ask the Lord to show you if there is any wicked way in you, remember this discussion. Are you cheering on the baby killing sodomite nation as it slaughters millions? Do you REALLY believe it is necessary to massacre innocent people in huge numbers, "to keep America free?" If so, you are a blithering idiot void of any mental ability to understand who God is, and you have NO idea what it means that, "He is not willing that any perish."

The end of evil, therefore, will only come here:

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Only after Satan, and all who reject Christ, are bound in hell for eternity, AND after this sin stained earth is totally burned to oblivion, will God create a new heavens and a new earth. This is not his heaven that he will burn. It is the universe as we know it now. As you and I stand on the porch of heaven, looking off at the world and the universe, there will be a monumental explosion of fire and heat, and everything will turn black.

The next thing that will happen?

We will all hear the words of God as he says, "Let there be light....."

Everything is under control my friend. Let us simply see if there be any wicked way in us as we move onward to the next big event-- Christ calling us home.

Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

HOW SHOULD A BIBLE BELIEVER DEAL WITH EVIL?

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

"ALL? Must I turn from all my worldly fun and toys?"

It is as simple as that. When you see it, when it is nearby, when it is praised and justified by backsliders, and finally, when the Holy Spirit then gives your conscience a jab, YOU must abstain.

I will not bore you with all the evil things Christians are presented with, but I will warn you that you will even be brought into the presence of evil right in the local church. Gossip and character assassinations are rampant in many churches, and the pastor's wife may lead the attack. Pastors who are sexually perverted prey on young people and the wives of men in their churches.

Abstain. That word is not some form of archaic English. But, the key to this word is proximity. If you wait until the booze is served, it is too late. You need to find out what kind of company you will be in, and what are their likes and dislikes.

In recent years, and with gambling being legalized, it is pathetic to learn how many
Bible believes slip off to casinos to gamble and gawk at naked dollies. "We go because the
food is dirt cheap." Right, and that is because, while you eat the $4.00 steak and eggs,
you will buy keno tickets when the naked whore pokes the ticket tray under you nose and
wiggles her breasts in your eyes. You "abstain" like Mr. Fox abstains from the chicken house.
For the record, my research is from Christians delivered from this life of defeat.

Here is one simple example of how this "abstain" principle worked in one man's life.

All philosophy lies in two words, "sustain" and "abstain." Epictetus

A fellow I know who loves the Lord was asked by his coworkers to come along for lunch. He had gone with them before, but this time they were going to a new place he had not heard of. They told him the food was great, but they failed to tell him the place was in competition with Hooters, and the girls clothes were arranged to nearly make them naked. He was riding with a coworker, and by the time he got into the place, he had to make a real scene to escape from evil. He managed to deal with the thing, but he determined to simply refuse to go to lunch with the coworkers unless he knew about the setting of the place where he was going. He also brown bagged his lunch from then on.

We will talk more about practical issues of dealing with evil in Part Two and Three of this series. For now though, there is a simple plan God gives us, and it is based on the Principle of Replacement.

First, I will prove that God is not a spoil sport who takes away our evil toys and leaves us with empty hands and hearts.

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

When God plucks you up and out of the muck of Satan, that is, the place where you learned the way of good versus evil, God replaces that old evil rubbish with priceless things.

Let us go right to a large issue in modern life-- sexual purity. When a man or woman refuse to give way to invitations of sexual "fun," which has sunk to the level of "recreational sex" today, they are made to feel like they are really missing out on the good life. So, to the Bible believer who "abstains" from this evil or sin, what does God give them?

Proverbs 5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.
22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Sometimes God is blunt in his Word, right across the plate and waste high.

The man who took his fountain to strange places and rejoiced in fornication has memories. And, those memories will haunt him when he tries to make love to his future wife. He will remember Mary Lou, Jane, Megan, and dozens of other woman while he is trying to satisfy his wife. And his own hardware will wither as guilt creeps into his mind. This can go on for the rest of his life, especially if one of the former woman was really "hot." His wife will always seem less than "hot." This is why young married men are big customers of Viagra. Is there a better plan?

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

It is your choice, my friend. God will not force you to do the right thing. This is why Reformed denominations are run through with evil and filthy living. They pass off their personal thoughts and life on God and imagine that they have no free will. Thus, it is God's fault that they are drunks and sex perverts.

Indeed, the whole of Christendom is run through with masses of people who are not one whit different than the madding crowd who run to riot and evil.

Ephesians 4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Now, go do the right thing.

Evil does not get much worse than this. The world stood by and did nothing.
Rwanda had no oil, so the real motive to stop the genocide just was not there.
And, THAT is the worst evil.

 

NOW, COULD THE USA HAVE A GENOCIDE HOLOCAUST?
There are men, Henry Kissinger among them, who want to reduce the African
population by one third, and in the words of Kissinger at the United Nations in the
1970s, "By any means possible." We now have a President, Barak Obama, who
is clearly the servant, the "porch monkey," of the power people on high.
Their plan for many years has been eugenics, and Black Americans are the target.
Are we witnessing the rise of Black racism, fanned by Obama, until the White race
feels that if Whites do not eliminate Blacks, the Blacks will eliminate Whites?
Do not laugh. The Germans before the Nazi era would have laughed also if you
had told them they would help eliminate six million Jews.

It is September of 2015. Which candidate for nomination to run for President do you
think would be willing to send millions of Black Americans to FEMA camps to die?
Hillary, Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Bernie Sanders..... who?
This seems like an unthinkable question. I prefer to ask it now rather than wring my
guts our later because I failed to ask the question. In fact, it may not be long before
I will disappear for asking such a question. Hmmmm
